Build Your Own Bowl with chicken

This was a pretty tasty lunch experience in the IDS plaza. Rosti is advertised as modern Mediterranean food, and they have a variety of food options including bowls and salads. I opted for the make your own bowl option with saffron rice, chicken, cucumbers, olives, and kale. They have a variety of topping options you can choose from to customize as well as a variety of sauces. I opted for the balsamic vinaigrette topping. There is a standard soda fountain, and you can also order in advance through their website. You will receive a mini pita loaf with your order as well. I found the bowl to be very good overall. The chicken was tasty and tender, and the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The sauce was a nice compliment as well, and the saffron rice had a nice taste. There was perhaps a bit too much rice compared with the amount of chicken, but overall it was a tasty lunch. The staff were quite friendly about explaining their menu and were knowledgeable as well!

Yum this place is really good! I went around 1pm on a Thursday and the line wasn't bad at all. It also moved quickly which was a plus. I got a half salad/ half rice chicken bowl with a variety of toppings and it was delicious. My bowl ended up being about $9.60 or so but the portion size was decent and the food is "healthier" so I didn't mind the price. I docked one star because the chicken was running low so I got a mini scoop but not a huge deal. The bowl is big enough already and I loaded up on toppings to fulfill my serving. I love the concept of this place and wish we had something similar in North Carolina. As others said, it's like the chipotle of Mediterranean restaurants. Note: teavana tea in picture purchased elsewhere. They do have fountain drinks, cold teas and spindrift cans for purchase there though.

It is so hard to find a take-out place in downtown MSP which is open after 3PM. Fortunately Roti is open till 7PM located at IDS Center connected with Skywalk. Unlike the negative reviews, I recieved a welcoming excellent customer service. But again I went there later in the day so it was not crowded. You can pick your base (rice, gyro, salad), protein and toppings. My plate came out just over $10. The food was good, certainly not the best tho. It is like Qdoba Mexican food but Mediterranean version. It is conveniently located with longer business hours and has a clean dining area. If you are looking for a quick bite just by yourself, this is a good option in the area.

What I'm grateful for at Roti: The Food - good quality, healthy bowls and salads you grab on the go. Lots of options and cold teas. (I wish they'd add a few hot teas as well.) The Space - Clean, calm, on a patio like area inside of the US bank building. The Convenience - The line moves super quick and easy to get in and out. And of course, The People! Gracious service and great food. Whenever I have meetings in that building, Roti is my go-to lunch spot.

This restaurant is conveniently located in front of the hotel where I am staying. I was happy to have healthy options so close by. I ordered the build a meal salad bowl for $9.67 and chose Chicken Roti as my protein. You can have as many sides, toppings, and sauces as you like. The line was moving fast so I just asked for a little bit of everything and whichever sauces went best. I got the cucumber dill sauce on the chicken and balsamic vinaigrette on the salad. The meal came with 2 small pieces of pita bread. All the restaurants my friends and I have visited in Minneapolis have been expensive compared to Tampa prices. It was great to be able to order a good meal for less than $10.

If Chipotle and Subway had a love child this is what you would get. A beautiful delicious Mediterranean love child.

Fast, healthy, friendly, fresh. Not sure what all of the complaints are about. For a quick affordable lunch or dinner, this place is great.

Good until you find a hair in your food! Long black hair...It was very disappointing. But if you're okay with that, it's quite good.

The food was too good. I liked the chicken kebab platter. They offer a lot of add ons and ketchups. I liked roasted red pepper ketchup most.

Is this the best dinner I've had in Mpls? It might be!…read more Came in for Valentine's Day on an almost accident. My partner said, "ever been to Fhimas? I think it's French?" And I was on board. We made reservations without another thought. I ended up googling the menu and realizing my partner was a little off on what type of cuisine this was and I was in unfamiliar territory though still excited to try. We loved every second of our experience here! The decor was amazing, the service was exceptional, the food was to die for. They had a special Valentine's Day menu which included beef Wellington for two, so we got that. Asked if it had sides and they said no. I asked if a veg was possible, expecting frozen, microwaved bland veggies. We got beautifully roasted, seasoned veggies that were amazing. Plus the beef Wellington was melting in our mouths. Cocktails were also exceptional. We had an espresso martini and old fashioned which came with a table side experience. We ended our adventure with the sticky toffee torte which was another exceptional dish. Our server was so kind and so so knowledgeable about every item and restaurant in the owners catalog. Very impressive all around.

Tables all around the restaurant, including the bar, left from previous patrons. Looks like a bomb went off. After 1+ hour, most of the tables are still covered in dirty plates and napkins. It's not that busy, maybe 10-20% full from 8:30 pm and beyond. Vibes = 2/10. What about the food? I've traveled all over the Mediterranean and Middle East. I'd give the Shashuka a 5-6 out of 10. It was supposed to be served with crepes and I had visions of Saluf and Sons Yemeni restaurant in Tel Aviv (now closed). Here it was served with a French bread / hot dog bun. Crepe???? I guess French bread and crepes are from the same country, but count me as unimpressed.
