    Curry Puff
    Lauren H.

A friend of mine just dropped off a "Curry Puff" from here and I loved it so much. The pastry was crisp and delicate, and the curry inside was so flavorful. Can't wait to try out more Thai/Malaysian delicacies from this place!

Yummy, quick bites for breakfast and lunch. Clean, efficient operation. Really fresh salad produce. Meh Thai coffee.

When you're craving good food and just so happen there's a new place in town to satisfy that craving...too bad the hours aren't for the weekend warriors to visit off work hours but at least they do deliveries too. Tried the hainanese chicken rice, pad krap pow and also moo ping - all fantastic and can't really stop your mouth from being stuffed! Quite the spot to get a quick bite if you work in the vicinity.

    Moo Ping (Pork) Salad

The moo ping salad is delicious. The pork is so tender and flavorful and they pack in a good amount of veggies. Great price, ambience, and service. Skyway accessible just past IDS.

    Nasi Lemak & Purple Limeade

Fantastic food and service! I came for lunch and will come back for more. I ordered their special of the day: Nasi Lemak. Curried chicken with anchovy, slices of fresh cucumber and a fried egg atop a bed of fluffy white rice cooked in coconut milk; sambal (chili paste) on the side. The chicken was fabulous, perfectly seasoned and well balanced. Don't let the anchovy scare you; it adds a wonderful umami flavor. The sambal was a sleeper hit and the egg was flawless. You'll do the food dance while you eat. The purple limeade was sweetened perfectly and was a refreshing addition. Service was super friendly and quick! Between order and arrival it was a solid 3 minutes. For 13 dollars, you got a generous amount of healthy, superbly delicious food. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

This is our new favorite Thai place! The flavor is so, so good, the prices are unbeatable and the owners are so incredibly kind and accommodating. My favorite is the mooping and kayak toast! Definitely try this place, you won't be disappointed!

I believe that since COVID they have transitioned to takeout only, and it's great to see that the business is still thriving even if they are still operating under the takeout only model despite how the world has evolved away from the pandemic. For the few dishes that I came here for, qualities varied, with some dishes lacking flavor while others simply sloppily created. The Hainanese chicken relied solely on the extra dipping sauces for flavor while the chicken itself had no flavor alone. The nasi lemak had good flavor mainly because of the sambal, and the chicken had good texture. I didn't see any peanuts in the dish, which I thought was needed for nasi lemak. The sizzling beef and ginger scallion duck had pretty expected flavor because of their ingredients, meaning that what they looked like was what they tasted like, if that makes sense. When I got food from there a second time 4 months later, overall the food was better. The chili tofu wasn't spicy at all even if I asked for spicy in my original order. The char kway teow had both good flavor and soft texture, allowing a positive tasting experience. The sambal shrimp had a good amount of vegetables and not enough shrimp, and had very good flavor because of the sambal infused with the dish. Because their menu is huge, I think they have an adequate selection of options that can serve customers of all kinds. Even though this is not one of my favorite spots within the Twin Cities, the dishes they have already solidifies this establishment as a "must not miss" within the area.

At the time, I didn't realize it was take out only. However, it worked out for us to pick it up as we headed to a friend's house for dinner. We ordered: BBQ Pork Lo Mein - simple and classic, not much for veggies Spicy Basil Beef - delicious, could be spicier Pineapple Chicken - think on sweet and sour sauce but tasty Spicy Tofu - SO good, their tofu is made in house! Crispy outside, soft inside Roti Canai - amazing! No wonder this is a top rec on Yelp Dumplings - average but good! Chicken Rice - We didn't realize each dish came with rice, so we ordered this but so glad we did - it had amazing flavor. Pick up process was very easy - they have their system down. Highly recommend supporting this locally owned spot next time you're craving takeout!

The volume in the restaurant is quite loud, so the patio may be better if you don't want to speak up at the table. Service is on the slower side but the food is worth the wait. -- The Sakoo small plate was an incredible dish! The texture contrast between the filling, chewy exterior, and lettuce shell was fantastic. It was so flavorful and has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Mango Fish entree was packed with flavor, and is a very umami-forward dish. The piece of crispy salmon skin on the side is perfectly crunchy and salty. It's a filet of salmon (not a whole fish) and the salmon is nice and buttery. -- The Duck Fried Rice entree had good flavor but the duck meat was dry. It did not come with the duck leg or crispy skin, and instead had chunks of duck meat throughout the dish. This dish has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Pistachio Orange Blossom Cake dessert was SO GOOD. I'm not a huge dessert person and I ate every bite of this. The cake is so moist and pairs well with the fluffy mousse covering the cake. The little bits of baklava and orange zest complemented this dish really well.

I will be thinking of how good that dish is for the rest of my life; the coconut milk and lime combined with the texture of fresh seafood really hit the spot! The Thai basil wings and Massaman curry were very yummy also. I enjoyed my meal so thoroughly that I forgot to take many pictures. The presentation on my cocktail (a tonic with vodka and buddha hand fruit) was very pretty. Service was thoughtful and quick. The restaurant itself was beautiful and open and airy -- I almost felt like I wasn't in Minneapolis anymore. We went on a Tuesday, and only drawback I'd say is that the noise level can be a little bit loud due to the acoustics and how the room is one giant space. Otherwise, very happy with the restaurant and would go again.

All the Malaysian dishes that we ordered were flavorful and authentic. They also served complimentary fruit at the end of the meal which was a pleasant surprise. Online ordering was easy and seamless. The inside is small with only a few tables, but they clearly do takeout very well. Quick service, great food, and genuinely kind staff. We'll definitely be ordering again.

We usually order the spring rolls, a filling meat salad in a rice wrapper. I also like to get a lunch menu item that has a samosa on the side. The samosa filling is hearty with just enough Indian spice kick, fried suitably enough in a wonton wrapper. The lunch menu has a reliable selection of popular Asian dishes. I've enjoyed the Chinese chicken dishes (sesame, General Tso's, etc.) with flavorful sauces that don't drown out the fresh vegetables. Last time I went I ordered General Tso's "spicy," which would probably be about "medium" in Little Mekong--just right for me. I was a little disappointed that the noodle dish on the lunch menu seemed to lack moisture and flavor, but mostly I've been happy with the food. Sometime I'd like to go back for dinner, as those dishes seem more adventurous. The teas complement the dishes nicely, especially when I order something fried. I usually have the zingy ginger tea, a favorite for both my friend and me. Recently I found Nina's hot lemonade surprisingly refreshing on a hot day. The service is friendly and attentive. The space is airy and fresh. I come in hungry, and leave full and satisfied. There is not much more we can ask of a regular lunch place, and we'll keep coming back!
