The gentleman, (Bill), who came to my door, within 45 minutes of my call, was polite, straight forward and very knowledgeable. I had the same work done 6 months ago by another plumbing company who charged me the same rate, they cleaned out the pipe got their money and left. Not Bill, he engaged me in polite conversation, explained everything he was doing. He noted that he found something in the process that concerned him. At no extra charge he pulled out his camera snake and diagnosed the problem in my line, (A rubber boot on a tie in to the main line from an addition to our house). He explained why that was a problem, pulled out some space age looking device and found where the connection was for me, and gave me a quote for fixing the problem. If you're in need of a good plumbing company, Roto-Rooter is the one to call. I called them over the weekend and early Monday morning I received a phone call letting me know that someone would be at my place within an hour. Sure enough a technician came right on. I told him the problem and in no time he found the leak and went to work. In just a couple of hours, he had the leak fixed which was inside the walls. He was very friendly and he did a great job. He also cleaned up the mess he made. I really do appreciate this company. Each person that my wife and I talked to were very friendly and considerate. Roto-Rooter was very professional. The technician arrived during the time that was quoted to me by phone, and he also called ahead of time before arriving. They may not quote you a fee over the phone, but once they figure out what the problem is, they do not proceed to work until you've been quoted an estimate, and you have okay'd them to continue. They have better equipment (camera, i.e.) than the other plumbers that we've dealt with, and are able to tell you what exactly is causing the issue. I actually LOOOOVE the fact that Roto Rooter will come out, FOR FREE & give a written estimate. Like was explained to me, there are just too many variables in every plumbing situation and they REFUSE to be the company that shows up and charges more than was quoted by a secretary on the phone. I will never use anybody but Roto Rooter again. They are the absolute best and a real bargain for what you get. Sure, there are cheaper companies, but you get what you pay for! I called last Friday to schedule repairs for the following week. While speaking with Zack, he offered to have a tech come out the same day. Denise called me about noon and advised the technician was en route. Within minutes of David's arrive (technician) he knew exactly what the problem was. It was a water leak due to faulty valve in the toilet. After resolving that issue, I asked David to unclog a drain in utility room. David was knowledgeable, prompt, and clean! Arrived on site in the 30 minute time I was quoted. Greg showed up and was professional and knowledgeable. He unblocked the sewer line in no time at all.
