He said I'm just here to provide an estimate". He didn't look under the cabinet or examine the valves or the lines. The guy recommended complete replacement of the faucet, lines and valves. He said the blockage could be anywhere. He quoted $1250 (faucet not included). I thought it was a pretty audacious proposal. Nothing that people in the building trade do or say surprise me anymore. I don't know much about plumbing but I've paid to build houses from the foundation up multiple times and I've heard and seen it all. This guy just needed to be shown the door. I went outside and saw my neighbor and told him the story. He told me "go to the faucet and take the faucet mesh off the end of the faucet. It's likely years of accumulated little rocks and sand." I wrote a review of our phone conversation because it was the most bizarre interaction I have ever had with a service provider. Your requests were irrational, unrealistic, and irresponsible. ​You literally asked me to take photos of my two toilets. When I stated that I did not see how taking photos of the toilets would fix a main line clog, your response was even more unreasonable. You told me that you did not want photos of the toilets themselves; instead, you wanted me--a non-plumber--to remove the toilets and take photographs of the sewage pipes. At that point, I realized the conversation was going nowhere and ended the call. Only an unprofessional outfit would make such absurd requests of a potential customer. ​Following that call, you phoned my home several times, which concerned me enough that I took the necessary security measures. Do not ever call my number again to complain about a legitimate, honest review of your business practices.
