After searching for three long months, to no avail, for the "right" diamond for my wedding ring for our 36th anniversary, I decided to call Rottermond Jewelers in Brighton. When Dennis, the store manager, answered the phone, I advised him about the kind of diamond that I was looking for. Additionally, and equally importantly to me, I also expressed to him that the diamond that I would ultimately purchase had to be one that I would "feel" was my diamond and right for me. Dennis attentively listened to me and heard what I wanted in a diamond. The very next day Dennis called and told me that he had a diamond for me to look at. After seeing the diamond, I relayed to Dennis that, although it was undoubtedly beautiful, it did not feel like it was my diamond. Dennis completely understood my sentiments and he asked Dean, the owner, to meet with me and my husband to continue the search. Dean not only understood what I was looking for, but he also understood just how important the emotional significance of my diamond had to be to me. I knew in that moment he would find the diamond that I was searching for. Dean worked tirelessly and patiently to search for the diamond that I would call my own, and his efforts resulted in overwhelming success. My "Hearts on Fire" diamond is breathtaking to look at, as well as, everything that I desired and envisioned it to be. I would also like to say that I am very knowledgeable in gem stones, as I was once myself in the business, so I knew that working with me would be a challenge for any jeweler. Dean, Dennis and George, the goldsmith, acknowledged my experience and, although I was painstakingly specific and determined in what I wanted, they were extremely patient and worked diligently to meet my needs. My happiness and satisfaction were paramount to them, and they made me feel as though I was a most valued customer. As a 10 year anniversary gift, my husband recently had my engagement ring reset. We visited several jewelers in the area and decided to go with Rottermond Jewelers in Brighton. My new engagement ring is awesome. I couldn't be happier with my new ring. The customer service we received was top notch. I have a Michelle watch that my husband purchased years ago. I initially had a leather strap, but wanted to change it to a silver bracelet. The watch had been discontinued and after searching many stores and even calling directly to Michelle multiple times, I was told I would never be able change the band from a leather strap to a silver bracelet.
