Lola my girl now 8 had surgery for ACL tear.

Dr Roueche did an amazing surgery on my pit bull Lola with an ACL tear. He is also a great equine vet and does ranch calls in Acton. Highly recommend him!

DO NOT GO HERE-THEY REMOVE ANYTHING NOT POSITIVE OR 5 STAR REVIEWS THEYRE SCAMMING DISHONEST BUSINESS PPL PROFIT OVER PETS!!!!!....The female veterinarian effectively killed my dog. She was useless with every question I asked- it took 5 days later for the male veterinarian, to get back from vacation, and give me a call and be completely flabbergasted himself that the news that my dog was fatally ill was not properly said to me, I ended up having to lose that dog 2 hours later, when he was running around playing just fine - by being put down at an emergency vet they recommended I go to-- I don't know about you, but if you love your dogs... go somewhere else. That was my terminally ill daughter's medical Therapy dog and he had no problems at all. And as soon as I had concerns, everything was downplayed by the female veterinarian and vaguely explained, and at no point was any urgency of his fatality mentioned, I asked specifically if this was a dog who was about to die considering he was acting completely fine and showed no outward signs of illness or pain.. And she denied it staunchly, the male veterinarian, could not believe that she would say those things to me in the sense that he was so devastated, that she did, what she did and handled it the way that she did, I'm glad that he's better than her. But I still dont want to ever take another one of my pets back here again. My dog had a condition that could have been treated if intervened properly when I first had concerns of mild things months and months ago. The concerns were not properly cared for and now he has passed on from one day to the next he was completely fine, and now we've lost our boy.

Today I left this office after 4 years and will never look back. My frustration comes after a…read moreseries of unacceptable mistakes that public needs to know. My personal mistake was to keep going to this place due to the amazing reviews so I thought that I was just having bad luck. We start a couple of years ago with an ear infection when the dog came back from the back of the office with the wrong ear treated. About 1 y and a half ago I brought my dog in for limping, dr Kim diagnosed elbow's arthritis, 2 light walks a day for the rest of his life. Nothing to really do about it. It sounded dumb to me since the dog was only 3 y old so I contacted an orthopedic, the orthopedic removed a broken anaconeal process that dr Kim didn't see at the XRay and talked to me about a very modern treatment which we promptly jumped on, the dog was up and running normal in 2 months. Last year doctor Oh sent me to the ER with a diagnosis of GDV while my dog was actively vomiting fluids (1st hint of the fact that couldn't have been GDV) wasn't bloated, wasn't panting, wasn't foaming, because he had confused an enlarged prostate with a stomach on the X-Ray. Access Woodland Hills pulled up the dog in 24h with simple antibiotics. Today it was the culprit, with the dumbest conversation I ever had in 50 years of my life with the front desk. My dog has lost 2 or 3 pounds in last few months. He went from about 92 to 88. Or who knows? the scale they have in the office is never accurate. Without saying anything a couple of months ago they had put him on a lower dosage of cytopoint which I noticed just from the fact that they billed me a lower price and that the medication hadn't been effective at all all of sudden. Whoever has a dog with skin issue knows how nasty it can get very quickly. I complained 3 times in separate occasions, in person and over the phone, I brought it up when I booked the appointment and today I went back saying again that his skin is a mess and I needed the dosage he has been doing for the last 2 years. They put him on the scale and his weight was 89.5 lb, like for real I am not making it up. Higher dosage starts at 90 lb, there's nothing they can do. They didn't offer a consultation, they didn't offer an alternative plan, the desk employer looked so satisfied that she wasn't going to follow this annoying patient's request. I was boiling, I just couldn't handle so much stupidity, I threw the muzzle I was holding in my hands on the scale which bumped on 90 lb and I asked if I could have his regular dosage now. They called me rude. I didn't have the patience to handle so much retardation. I left and randomly called Pinnacle. They fit me in, visited the dog, gave me his old dosage of cytopoint (surprise surprise they charge less) added apoquel and antibiotics (this how bad his skin was), loaded me with info about soaps and creams, dr Amsel and his technician visited the dog without muzzle before my eyes and without all the scenes that I was used to get at AMC for my 'aggressive ' dog, and I paid a total of 500 dollars which would have covered only 2 cytopoint injection at AMC. AMC takes more patients they can handle. There's always a different technician, a different doctor, front staff looks always overworked tired and confused, only thing are good at is chasing you with a reminder of any possible vaccine. Dr Kim is always rushing, one time to cut corners, because it was late and waiting room was still full she shouted to me the procedure she was about to do on my older dog from behind the front counter while I was sitting in the waiting room and everyone around me was talking. How professional is that? I hate bad reviews but if you are not detailed oriented passionate and professional in medical care maybe it's not your job. And always advocate for your pet and ask second opinions, because if your pet has a real health issue this place can't go beyond vaccines, flea medications and spay or neuter.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- Amazing, compassionate, and fair veterinary care!…read more My cat recently developed symptoms of an upset GI tract, and I called early in the morning to check availability. They were able to see her the same day, which immediately relieved so much stress. Their later office hours were a huge blessing--especially compared to emergency clinics that easily charge three times as much. We arrived for our 5:30 appointment (they close at 8), and even with their day almost over, the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Dr. Brink was our veterinarian, and she listened carefully as I explained what had been happening. She immediately began narrowing down the possible issues and communicated every step clearly. Before doing anything, they brought in a full cost itemization and explained each item in detail, answering every single question I had. The pricing here is beyond fair--and transparent. While we were discussing everything, my cat had an accident in the exam room, and the staff insisted I didn't clean it and moved us to a fresh room without hesitation. My girl is extremely fearful, so sedation was difficult. Dr. Brink and her team worked tirelessly to help her, and even though we couldn't complete the tests that evening, they still sent us home with medications to treat her GI symptoms. They also discovered an ear infection during the exam and provided treatment for that too. I came in with one problem, and they sent us home with answers I didn't even know we needed--this alone impressed me so much. They made arrangements for my cat to return the next morning for another sedation attempt (for bloodwork and an IV). When I came in around 1pm to check on her, another doctor (not sure of her name, but she was pregnant and so kind) took the time to personally reassure me that my girl was doing great. Before sedating her again, they even called to confirm the full treatment plan--another huge green flag. Less than an hour later, they called to tell me everything had gone smoothly and her blood panel was already complete. They even cleaned my cat's ears out as she was sedated so I could easily apply her medicated drops. I have NOTHING but positive things to say about this veterinary hospital. The entire team is compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated. Thank you all for treating my spicy, demonic little goblin with so much love and care. You've earned a lifelong client! It's been about 3 hours since we left the clinic and my girl is purring, eating, drinking, and using the restroom all on her own! Already feeling so much better than the day we came in. Odessa sends her love too!

I just realized I have never written a review for this place…read more We took our rescue dog here her whole life and we were always treated well and I feel like they are caring and have your pets best interest at heart. This vet has only improved since Dr brink took over and I am certain things will continue to improve. We had already seen improvements since she took over I do wish they had some sort of emergency program where you could get seen possibly on an off day if someone was available. I know that would be hard but we had an emergency on a Sunday and had to take Maysie elsewhere and we received decent care where we went but this doesn't replace the trust you have in your regular vet I was able to get her seen on Monday here which was awesome so we could get confirmation on some things from someone we trusted I feel the care provided by Dr Brink towards the end of Maysies life allowed us to spend a little more time together I can't imagine working at a vet and everyone there was so great - even going back to when we first got mays. I hope they continue so that if we get another pet we could come here. We are very grateful to all of the staff - Lauren, Oscar and all the other staff who were patient in answering our questions and teaching us what we needed to know to care for Maysie

While we were traveling, our 6-pound Maltese suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction after a bee sting. Within minutes he was vomiting, had lost control of his bowels, was breathing rapidly, became weak and disoriented, and looked like he was slipping away. It was one of the most terrifying experiences our family has ever faced. The moment we arrived, panicked and desperate, although they are not an emergency clinic, they helped us. After the Dr. said he could see our dog, everyone acted immediately. Our dog was taken back without time wasted, and the entire team worked quickly while keeping us informed every step of the way. Dr. Moran was calm, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His confidence and expertise gave us hope when we needed it most. The veterinary nurses and staff were wonderful--kind, attentive, and excellent at communicating throughout the entire process. The front desk team was equally amazing, showing genuine compassion and making an incredibly stressful situation a little easier. The care didn't end when we left the office. Receiving a personal phone call a few days later to check on our little guy and make sure he was continuing to recover meant so much to our family. That level of kindness and dedication is something you rarely experience, and it speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their patients. Because of the incredible care we received, our beloved dog is still with us today. If you're looking for a veterinary office that combines exceptional medical care with genuine compassion, this is the place. Thank you all for giving our little boy a second chance at life. We are forever grateful.

I would give this place zero stars if I could! I thought this place would be a good option given…read morethe positive reviews but when I walked into the office it was anything but. For starters, when the vet tech asked me to place my dog on the scale I noticed that there was a huge puddle of urine on it. Yuck! I asked her to clean it up before I'd place my dog on that scale. That's beyond unsanitary! Then when we got to the exam room, that also looked unsanitary! The mat on the exam table had what looked like dried urine stains and nothing smelled clean or sanitized. Really gross and now I'm worried that my dog could have been exposed to something since it's likely nothing in that exam room had been cleaned. I should have left right then and there, and wish I had because things didn't get any better. The vet took forever to come into the room. I was only there to get my dog vaccine boosters but felt they were trying to evaluate and look for random diagnosis. They also were pushy about heart worm testing and charged an arm and a leg for core vaccines. Much more than any place I've ever been. It felt very scammy. And when checking out and paying the hefty bill the receptionists weren't very friendly. Honestly, the whole place just had a bad vibe. I wish I never took my pet here. I don't plan on bringing my pet here ever again and I feel very upset that I trusted bringing her here in the first place. I can't understand how anyone gives this place a positive review. My experience was bad!!
