Found this saloon & grill with my family and we were so impressed. The food was incredible -- I ordered a medium-rare burger and it came out perfectly cooked, honestly one of the best I've ever had. My husband tried the special, a meatball sub, and said it was delicious. The kids' mac and cheese disappeared in minutes, which says everything. Service was excellent, especially considering how packed it was for the rodeo and Sisters High School graduation. Great atmosphere too -- lively crowd there for both events. Stoppedin for chicken pot pie and a brisket sandwhich. Pot pie was unique with a puff pastry top and a very creamy filling. It was good, but needed a side of additional bread to go with the filling. Brsket sand was just ok. What did standout was the service. Super friendly and attentive. I really liked the bluecheese dressing....but just wanted something crunchy (nuts or croutons) to give it texture, but nice fresh greens. There is a goodsized bar area inside, which you can order food from, or you can dine in the queter restaurant area. Desserts looked amazing! Saw a lot of people ordering the beet salad....which l will likely try next time w maybe a side of sweet potato fries. read more

Overall, would rate Sisters Saloon & Ranch Grill a solid 4/5 stars. The food was honestly really good! There was potential for five stars just some things didn't meet our expectations. The service was great at the beginning however, would have appreciated more check ins during our meal because we had to wave down another server mid meal. The ambiance is super casual and family friendly! This was a plus considering we were a party of 6, kids included! Just be aware at certain times minors are no longer allowed. We made reservations for outdoor dining, to accommodate our dog, but we got there earlier and they were short on servers, so they said we'd have to wait. Within 10 minutes the server was taking care of us. Our order was taken promptly and the food came quickly. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the outdoor dining. Ate here tonight. I had the St.Louis ribs, with cornbread and beans. The ribs were way overcooked and tasted freezer burnt. The cornbread was dry and crumbly. The beans were the only saving grace and were pretty good. Had iced tea to drink and it was noticeably south of fresh. Cute little place in Sisters, with very yummy food!! The service was attentive, and the atmosphere matched the history of the building. I highly recommend reading the plaque outside of the building explaining the history of the building, it's fascinating! Our party enjoyed ordering different menu items and loved everything we ordered! Our only complaint was that the buns were a bit large compared to the filling of the burgers, but if you smoosh them down or omit one of the halves, it makes it more proportionate :) Overall, very yummy and worth a visit! This place also had no issues with my professionally trained service animal. They welcomed her and me with open arms and proceeded to seat and serve us with no issues at all. I stop by here every time I am in Sisters. The old western look of the Saloon draws you in driving by. Once inside you truly feel like you're in an old western film. The service here is always quick and friendly. We did have to wait a bit longer than normal for a table since it is rodeo weekend but they communicated well and were able to get us on the waiting list. It looked as though they were hosting an after party for the rodeo and it looked like a blast- live band and all. We were seated within 20 minutes. This place is worth the wait. I got the caballero burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was full of flavor and very juicy. I also got a virgin margarita which was perfect. We were in Sisters on Quilt day, one of the town's busiest days. We were able to get in relatively quickly, maybe 10 mins, at 11:30, which was amazing. Seating staff were great. Our server, Monse, was friendly, quick, and very personable while handling several other tables of hungry people. She was just terrific. My chicken sandwich was great, and I love your fries. While driving home from Bend, OR, my wife and I decided to stop in Sisters for lunch. We decided on the Sisters Saloon. Honestly, it felt comfortable inside here. We were greeted right away. We each ordered a cocktail. I went with the Chicken Fingers, and my wife went with a Cheeseburger. We each had their house made chips that were outstanding. Crispy and not a drop of grease. I was surprised by the number of Chicken Fingers. I was also surprised how well my wife's Cheeseburger tasted. I know every restaurant or bar makes a Cheeseburger and has Chicken Fingers on their menu, but honestly these tasted great. For a place that I thought might be touristy really surprised me. Though there was nothing super special here, sometimes you just want a drink, some fried Chicken Fingers and a Burger. Sisters Saloon delivered! Where to begin? The historic building is fun, cozy, and a little step back in time. The food was out of this world. The service was top knotch. I had the Caballero Burger. The burger itself was delicious. Moist, cooked perfectly, and presented. My partner had the Turkey Sandwich on Oat bread. It was stacked high with turkey and fresh fixings. The sweet potato fries and the house hand cuts are wonderful! Then to top it off, yes please...Bread Pudding . This is a taste of Heaven. Delicious! We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. And were brought menus, and waters. This is a historic building, with decor to match the history. There are photos lining the dining room of old photos of Sisters. Their bar has a few slot machines for entertainment. I have never seen pork rinds on a restaurant menu before, and they were delicious! They were still cracking when they were brought out to the table. I ordered the Bison Burger - I love Bison burgers and you cant get them many places. It was cooked to perfection, the best flavor and so juicy. I added cheese and mustard to it and it was excellent. My boyfriend got the grilled cheese with bacon - it came out oozing with different cheeses. It was delicious, perfectly toasted and the bacon added a great flavor to the sandwich. Their fries are cut in house and we're so good. We were too stuffed for dessert but it sounded amazing. We ate lunch here on our way out of Sisters. This seemed like the best option out of the limited choices in Sisters, and I was decently happy with it. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries, my husband got the salmon, my mother-in-law got the chicken pot pie, and my daughter got a kids mac n cheese. The kids menu doubled as a coloring sheet and they gave her crayons while we were waiting, which I really appreciated because it seems like a dying practice. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious! The fries were really good too. It came with so many fries that I was able to share them with the whole table. My husband said he liked his salmon a lot. The chicken pot pie was pretty good but came with a super thick crust, which was a bit overkill. But overall we liked the food. The vibe was just what I'd expect from a saloon. They had a separate area that was just the bar, but we didn't get any drinks since we just wanted a quick lunch. We were headed back from Bend and needed a small bite so Sisters Saloon & Ranch got our vote. My husband and I ordered a salad, a Cobb and a Wedge. They were both brought out fairly quickly. They were nice portions and tasted good, nothing fancy about it. It fit the bill. We also opted for the berry cobbler with ice cream. I'm a bit of a cobbler expert and while the berries in this dessert were sweet and tart and perfectly cooked, it definitely lacked on the topping. My ratio is half and half and this one was more like 80/20. They had a serving tray with examples of the dessert and ours and the tray did not match if you look closely! Don't worry we did finish it all, we just wanted more topping. We didn't have a reservation but there was plenty of tables open. The staff was pleasant and helpful. read more

Man, this place is a must when you're passing through or visiting Sisters! My wife and I visit this spot every time we are in the area and have never been disappointed. The food is always great, the atmosphere is casual and fun, and the place is clean and inviting. After all the visits, this last was our favorite and the reason for leaving this review. We met an employee named Dan, who was working the bar and he made the trip worth it and was one of the most inviting guys you've ever met. He was super attentive, fun to chat with and really one of the employees that makes someone return to the establishment in hope he's working. I an still shocked that this restaurant has received an overall rating of 4 stars. If I could give it negative stars for the lack and rude service I would. My earlier review states how inattentive and rude the server was and why my wife left for a restaurant that cares. This time, I had to use the rest room so I came in, saw the same unfriendly server in the back and stated I really need to use the restroom first. Her comment was "sure". The floors were incredibly wet from just being mopped; they had been opened 30 minutes. No wet floor signs. One table was in the dining room.
