I've always liked Togos from back in the day (70's)and in a different valley so it was nice when they came to Atwater. The selection is always great and the bread it fresh. Co-worker and I stopped in on the evening of November 12th about 6:30 for dinner. Neither had ever tried Togo's. Two charming ladies were running the place. My co-worker had the pastrami and thought it was great. The menu was large and every option looked delicious. I asked one of the ladies to prepare her favorite sandwich for me, just as she likes it. I believe she made the #2, and it was nothing short of outstanding. All in all, we found a new place to eat while traveling to and from Southern California to Northern California for work. Been here twice and each time the sandwiches were well made and everything was fresh. They do a better job than the Togo's in Turlock. Only complaint is they never seem to have enough people working, causing the sandwiches to be made in a rush. Everything looks clean and in order, so that's a plus. read more

IN the last 31 years the only sandwich I have ever eaten at TOGOS is the #25. It all started in 1984 in Santa Cruz, CA when I was 5. I can still remember the taste of my first #25. After I was finished I sat down to play cocktail table pac man. Today I walked in to a Atwater TOGOS and they said NO MORE #25!!! I said what do you mean. She said it was discontinued. I work in Atwater and used to go to Togo's 1-2 times a week But the past few months, I have not gone as much. Went in today, no one was waiting in line or even inside. They rushed to make my sandwich, sloppy as heck, didn't make it how I asked for it to be made. Togo's Tribe did not work and I had a $5 reward. I love this place! They are very clean and tidy. The people are very friendly as well. The service is good and so is the food! (A hard combination to come by nowadays.) on top of that, it's reasonably priced (pretty cheap). My favorite is the Santa Fe Salad and natural chicken sandwich. I get those two when I buy the "pick two" combo. The broccoli cheddar soup is also a good pick if you're in the mood for soup. You can tell that everything is very fresh, which I cannot say about other sandwich shops. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a sandwich, salad, or soup fix! read more

Sandwich made wrong. #36 is not a toasted sandwich, but server informed my partner it was and he went w/ it. Added items which were missing and the standard items black forest ham & avocado were completely missing. No mustard as requested and doesn't look as it mayo was added after being toasted. This is a cold sandwich unless requested. Terrible service today. They're not usually like this, but today wasn't good at all.
