No push, just information and he answered a ton of questions patiently and cheerfully. He was really awesome. Turned out that going in for information and leasing a car was absolutely in the plan and that subject was thoroughly discussed, pros and cons. Everyone from the manager to Richard to the finance guy were patient and wonderful. I had purchased a Hyundai Sonata, '08 I think, back in 2010 at Lake Norman Hyundai and I had an extremely positive experience over the years with that vehicle and the dealership, et cetera. I love my car and I love the fact that I can message Richard or call is right there to help even after the deal is done the papers are signed. I made an appointment with him on Wednesday to go up and go over the myriad of features in the car and he spent two hours with me, sitting in my car out front of the dealership going over absolutely everything.

There were quite a few engines on offer...ranging from $500+ E-Bay and wrecking yard models to $1200-$1500 extra low miles direct import Japanese units. I went with these guys, (despite them being almost $300) higher than the cheapest E-Bay option. I did that because I was told they were a good, reputable place to purchase Honda parts from in NC. The original engine purchased was a relative low miles unit, which I had shipped directly to the install facility. On installation and initial startup, a coolant weep from a hairline crack in the block was discovered. The installation facility notified me and then immediately reached out to Beaver. The car never left the shop. The delay was an expensive inconvenience. One week later, a much higher mileage engine was sent out to the facility. It was again installed after removal of their first defective unit...(two complete installation charges) because of their defective part sent. Things happen! I'm not unreasonable but the fact remains, I paid for a "good" engine. If it is not and I incur massive additional costs as a result, cost sharing would be the least they should offer...(either discount the engine or pick up a part of the installation). I was prepared to absorb much of it, despite not being at fault. These guy were having none of it. They completely absolved themselves from ANY of those costs...despite sending a faulty engine. They refused to let me speak to the owner and acted as if they'd done me a favor by sending out a much higher mileage engine. I did not beg for that engine. I paid money for it...money I could have spent elsewhere.

I bought 5 American racing baja satin black rims and i bought 5 wheels. I took my car, they Mounted and balanced everything. This was my first set of new shoes in my vehicle and thanks to these guys my car look awesome. I do need some more off road parts so will see you guys soon again.

2/5 - Disappointing Communication and Long Delays…read more I ordered a set of wheels and tires from Rimzone on December 12th, and my order isn't scheduled to arrive until January 5th. While delays can happen--especially around the holidays--the lack of communication is what really makes this experience frustrating. Throughout the entire process, Rimzone never once took the initiative to provide updates. No proactive emails, no status check-ins, nothing. The only way to get information is to reach out to them directly, and even then, responses feel reactive rather than helpful. As a customer spending good money, I shouldn't have to chase basic order updates. What makes this even more disappointing is that after looking back through my old messages, I realized this exact same issue happened the last time I ordered from Rimzone. So unfortunately, this doesn't feel like a one-off holiday hiccup--it feels like a pattern. The products themselves may be fine, but customer service and communication matter, especially when you're waiting weeks for wheels and tires. At this point, I honestly recommend buying local or choosing another online retailer that values keeping customers informed. I really wanted to have a better experience this time around, but the repeated communication problems and long wait have made it hard to recommend Rimzone going forward.

The vehicle was misrepresented, we finally settled on a price and then they completely jammed me on financing. I have fantastic credit but they locked me into financing with a ridiculous interest rate. When I chased down the bank I found out that the dealership gets a huge Kickback on the financing and they told the bank what the interest rate would be. Like I said very dishonest dealership. I can't even get them to leave me alone they call me all the time, they email me all the time trying to get me to purchase again. So sick of this dealer.
