I took my car this last Friday, 12/27 for its scheduled routine 12.000 mile maintenance. We like to take the car there not only because we have some complimentary oil changes but because since they are a Hyundai dealership, we were trusting they would be the best place in which to trust our car, that they would know how to best take care of our car. It just so happens that they offer, after the maintenance, a complimentary wash. It had snowed about 5 days before we took it in, and we had been out to the country Christmas's Eve, 3 days before, so we noticed there was some bird poop on the roof of the car. After the offered complimentary car wash, when we took the car home we finally noticed the deep deep scratches that were left after cleaning. On Saturday I called the dealership, spoke to the attendant, she was helpful and said she had to make her manager aware. On Monday, the manager called me back. He said there had been bird poop on the roof when we took the car in. I agreed with him. He said it had settled into the paint (impossible in the 2-3 days only that it had been there, not enough time) and when the guys at the wash cleaned it off, wiped it off, there were some "light" scratching (you can see from the pictures the scratches are deep and created by repeated movements disregarding any care for the car). He ironically asked me which would I prefere, that they would have left the car dirty, the poop there, if I was the one who asked to have it cleaned. I asked him if it wasn't an option that they had been irresponsible in how to get it done, with complete negligence. His conclusion was they are not responsible for this damage, as it happened while they were trying to clean the car. My question is, how is that acceptable? How do you offer your client a service but care nothing about how it gets done or what happens during it? Now I'm left to find a shop to rectify the whole damage clearly inflicted during the dealership's process.

"Dealer Discount" listed separately actually includes all possible an optional discounts that could be applied to this vehicle

Pleasant and courteous but they seem to be short staffed and overworked in the service department, which results in very uneven experiences.

Seems appropriate because the place is a dump. It smelled like mold and mildew. The manager is also using the car as his personal car. Ummm, no. Leave the car on the lot. The salesman knew less than I did. He didn't pull the car out so we could get a good look at it. He didn't stay outside and "talk up" the car and its options. I'm pretty sure it's because it was 90 degrees and he knew nothing about the car. I've purchased many, many cars in my lifetime. I've never had such an experience. I've also never paid sticker or online advertised price and I said as much. This guy actually said, "then I guess you're not buying a car tonight". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! He embarrassed himself. Then this car that's been in PA and NJ from 2022, is serviced in FL a short time after it arrived at Auto Hub. Then it's back. Oh, "that must be a mistake". "Once the car gets here it stays here". Sure, see ya. I suggest finding a reputable, knowledgeable dealer and skipping this place. Now I know why it was a ghost town when we got there at 6 pm on a Thursday night. Super disappointing and a complete waste of time. It wasn't worth the hour drive to get there. We made it worthwhile by going out to eat, nearby!

My husband and I found what seemed like a great deal on a Dodge Charger through cars.com, which led…read moreus to Auto Hub. The car was priced about $7,000 lower than comparable models... almost too good to be true. My husband stopped in, spoke with one of their sales associates, and test drove the car. Everything seemed fine, so we made an appointment for the next day so I could see the car as well. After my test drive, I was ready to make a deal. And that's when everything fell apart. Once we sat down to finalize the numbers, the dealership began adding one questionable fee after another: a $2,000 "mechanic inspection" fee, $1,750 "commission" fee (which we were told was a discount from their normal $2950 fee), plus the standard taxes and DMV costs. Then came the biggest red flag: we were told that if we wanted to pay cash, we'd have to pay an additional 5% fee to make up for the "kickback" they lose from their financing company. The only way to avoid that fee was to finance the car through their preferred lender, with a limited down payment, and an obligation to carry the loan for at least 3 months. In 20 years of buying cars, I've never been told that I must finance a vehicle or that I can't choose my own down payment amount. It's misleading and feels like a scam. To make matters worse, 24 hours later the dealer actually called to tell us that the car had been "sold." The same car that had been sitting on their lot for over 90 days suddenly vanished right after we questioned their fees. It all feels incredibly slimy and shady. Bottom line: the price you see online is not the price you'll pay. Expect around $8,000 in added fees, pressure to finance, and questionable sales tactics. Buyer BEWARE.

If you try and coordinate a valet pickup I can guarantee you it will be late and it will be impossible to call and get an update. This is 3 times now for me that this has happened. I am still here furious waiting for my car back from their valet service, it was due over an hour ago and I have no update, no call back, nothing. Also if you try and get a loaner, this also happened to me 2x, and even schedule it ahead of time they will not even try to give you an equivalent vehicle of what you have. Worst experience ever with a "luxury" brand service. This is the dealership which I purchased the car from, so I had hoped for better.... Also as it was the 2nd time my vehicle (GV70) was sent for the same issue I had talked to the service manager (Alex). Who assured me my repair would be well taken care of. And if I needed anything to state his name on the automated systems (as they never pick up the phone) so he could make sure the issues were being addressed. I did this multiple times and never got a call back or anything from him. I've had the issue with both the driver side and passenger side headlights flooding with water and have had a real issue trying to get the passenger side replaced. They told me they replaced it but when I got the car back they obviously didn't and the headlamp is stained from previous condensation. They stated that there is a bulletin that they can no longer swap the headlamp and that I have to live with the headlamp stained. What kind of company provides a warranty, has the part be defective, and then not replace. Great.... I now have a luxury car with a stained passenger headlamp. Had even purchased the extended warranty. Called Genesis consumer affairs and just waiting for updates to see if the regional manager will approve. Sigh, never again. Be warned.
