At today's market, The Crepe Guy was making a chicken and waffles-topped crepe and a blueberry-topped crepe. I opted for chicken and waffles, a crepe I've tried before and loved. Today's chicken and waffles crepe looked beautiful but didn't do much for me. I found the chicken to be over shredded and over saturated with syrup, making it pretty mushy and too sweet. The crepe itself was delicious, as was the chive butter on top. Because I've had a successful experience with The Crepe Guy before and also because he's so wildly popular with my friends, I know I'll visit his booth again. He's a very creative cook and I definitely want to try some of the other crepes in his repertoire.

I don't know if she forgot to put something else inside it or if that's just how that one is (not at all what the pic looked like). It was quite literally crushed pecans in a plain crepe. That's what it tasted like. I could see cinnamon and possibly brown sugar, but not nearly enough. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at this one and replace it or fix it. We will continue to eat here!!! It's WONDERFUL!!!! Definitely recommended!!!!
