I went to Ace Hardware specifically to use my $10 birthday coupon, but the clerk was unhelpful and completely dismissive. She barely acknowledged me, didn't even say 'Happy Birthday,' and just flatly said the coupon wasn't eligible without explaining why or offering any help. I tried different items to see if something would qualify, but no luck. She seemed uninterested and like she didn't want to be there at all. This ACE is on the smaller side but the young man and woman in around the hardware section were very helpful with my questions and concerns and made sure I had everything I needed. I come to this location a few times a year and it's hit or miss with the employees, but this was a good experience. read more

Do not shop at this location. Honestly don't shop at any Ace hardware. They refused to return something purchased earlier in the day. It was in opened and eligible for a return. The people working here were rude and absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I will never shop here again read more

I have been purchasing shaft collars here for the last two years on a bi monthly basis. I go to purchase some today and the guy tells me that they don't sell them. Dropped in to find a quick plumbing part. As I have experienced in the past Ace stores have a very limited selection of items and I just though I would give them another try. After looking for a common part that I would think would be available here I was headed to another big box store to get the part I needed. I realize that they cannot always have everything but it seams each time I go to an Ace I end of having to go to another store. Ill check back next time i need a part and hopefully they will have it. I just moved here, but it's very convenient location just around the corner from Heathrow and have been to this ACE a number of times. I believe the store is under new management as they were looking for feedback on what they should carry and actively stocking significant amounts of new inventory. I found them to be very helpful and pleasant. I call first and they let me know if they have what I need or not. I try to avoid the Home Depot in Lake Mary and am happy to give this locally owned franchise my business whenever possible. read more

My husband and I have been researching the Stihl weed eater and decided to check them out at this Ace Hardware store. Great display of merchandise. We were very fortunate to have a sales associate by the name of Craig came to us and ask if he can help. Craig took the time he was very knowledgeable great personality very patient and educated us on the different types of equipment and how to build the proper lawn and tree tools needed to get our yard work done. Craig thank you very much for your time and patience as a result my husband purchased the Stihl weed eater with the correct pole, motor, oil supply, string with a great warranty. We will definitely come back to this Ace Hardware store on 46 for additional Stihl pieces. Great shopping experience for a change. I recommend this store very friendly staff. The staff here is very unfriendly. When I call to see if they sell a particular item the staff seems annoyed and doesn't want to help. The prices are high and the availability is low. I will continue to drive an extra 10-15 minutes to Home Depot. read more

Didn't honor Black Friday coupon. They told me that the products that I needed weren't included. This was not mentioned in the small print on the coupon but it did say that the store could make up their own rules on what they honored. I guess they could wait for customers to come in for the deal and then deny it and hope the customer would just buy it anyway. Maybe that type of trickery works on some people but not me. I simply found a different Ace hardware. They are all over the place. They have permanently lost me as a customer as a result of that strategy. Maybe someone needs to take a marketing 101 class! read more

I took my Stihl trimmer there for a minor repair. It's been three weeks and I've heard nothing, so I went to the store (for the second time - went a week ago also). They admit that they haven't even looked at it. Pathetic! Very poor service! read more

Been to many Ace stores where we lived previously. Where we lived, the staff was almost anoying upon entry ( in a good way) and always had what U needed, even more than the big box store wih crazy bolts and nuts or brass plumbing parts. Staff would always help figure out my issues and get me what I needed, FAST. I didnt care about the slightly inflated prices. Well....I gave this place a couple of tries and they suck. Place looks crappy and invemtory is lacking to say the least. No help ever offered. Not your typical Ace. You guys are sunk unless your game improves, I am sorry to say. read more

This Ace is one of the worst I have ever been to throughout the country. The staff is rude and many of them know just close to nothing when it comes to tools or hardware. The selection of tools and hardware is bleak at best, you have a better chance of finding a hammer in glass store then what your looking for at this Ace. It is 3 mins from the house but I am much better off making the 20min trip to Home Depot not to mention you will pay almost triple at this ACE anyhow. The owner has to be completely clueless as to what is going on and I am not quite sure how they even stay in business. Save your time and money and head to Home Depot or Lowe's!!! read more

This store offers FFL Firearm transfers. However finding an employee at the store who can do your background check and transfer is another matter. You have to go on certain days between certain time and then if there is an employee there who knows the passwords you might be lucky enough to get your firearm.. Do not transfer your firearm through them if you ever want to get it. read more
