I had been looking for dividers to make a little separation between spaces for my home office. I couldn't find what I wanted elsewhere so I decided to build my own. I started picking out my pvc and other parts and came to a stand still. Craig came by and asked if I needed any help and I, of course, said yes. Well he didn't just help he all but built it for me. He laid it out on the ground and explained every part and what should go where. He didn't leave anything for me to question. It was the best time I've had in Lowe's and I really enjoyed it before without the incredible customer service. I walked away with a smile and a reminder as to why this is the only big home improvement store I go to. Thank you Craig. Visited store this morning at 6am to pick up 4 additional 6x6x8ft treated posts. Have already purchased 15. Parked at pro entrance near lumber. Doors locked so walked to main entrance and proceeded to load the above without help. Went to cashier located at lumber entrance and no cashier open and doors still locked. I was told I would have to push my purchase to the main exit to pay and then push back across the parking lot to get to my truck. Told an employee I wasn't willing to do that as an extreme inconvenience. He recommended I go to Home Depot. I can assure you I will and no longer shop at Lowes. read more

Stopped in today around 6pm to see if there was any plywood left to board up our windows for Hurricane Milton and thankfully there was. I already stopped at Home Depot earlier in the day to gather supplies but unfortunately we did not have enough so here I am shopping again. Lowes was packed solid and they still had plenty of plywood and 2x4's, great job with the inventory Lowe's team!! They will also cut the wood to the size you need if required, great service. Fortunately for me I have a saw and horses at the house so no need to wait in line. BEWARE of LOWE'S:  Terrible experience with Lowe's. Lowe's sold me a washer and then, arranged installation through their third-party installer. The previous unit worked fine, but after the install, when the laundry  was done in the newly installed washer, water flooded into the neighboring condo. Lowe's refused to send their installer back to resolve the leak because their crews had left for the day .  They suggested I contact a licensed plumber  to get the leak stopped and to diagnose the issue. Lowe's assured me if it was installed improperly, they would submit a claim. The plumber confirmed, in writing and on video, the installer failed to connect the drain hose, causing the leak. We paid $200 out of pocket to fix the installer's mistake. Despite clear evidence, Lowe's delayed, passed us around, and even closed the claim without notifying me. Both condos have wet drywall, wet insulation, and wet baseboards, and the neighbor's kitchen cabinets are damaged. Lowe's refusal to act quickly has only made the water damage worse and now there is a mold issue. Extremely disappointed in Lowe's lack of accountability for the faulty installation by their contractor.  Their ongoing delays increased the damages suffered. Bought 20 pickets at Lowes Sanford. They are stored just outside the door. Paid inside, assumed I would just be self servicing like Home Depot does. Wrong! Everything outside is weighted down with concrete or sand bags. So they expect you to wait 15 minutes while they find an employee that is even able to run a forklift. Had to walk to the opposite end of the store past 6 employees just standing around to get a refund. SHOP HOME DEPOT INSTEAD!!! They don't back up their products, even when their 90 day return policy states they will. I purchased a $35.68 bag of Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action after a Lowe's rep recommended it to kill weeds, kill insects & feed my lawn. It actually made my weeds grow stronger & greener, the ant mounds & grubs (what moles eat) are unaffected, but my good grass did not improve at all. IT FAILED COMPLETELY, EXCEPT IT FEED MY WEEDS! The return desk clerk & manager wouldn't take the bag back claiming the bag can't be used, or in my case, empty. I showed them pictures of my weeds & ant mounds as I asked them: How else would I know that the product worked if not by using it? The tongue and groove lumber is exceptional. I normally shop at Home Depot but after fighting every piece on my ceiling project I decided to try Lowe's. Their wood is of superior quality and every piece snapped together perfectly. My wife also reported that this location was very helpful when she was picking up a couple pocket doors for me. I have never been disappointed by the customer service at this location. I will always try to see Scott if I can. He goes above and beyond when we visit to assist us. He is well versed on pretty much everything (not joking). From BBQs, Generators, different tools for different and unique products. Very patient and understanding. Highly recommend reaching out to him if you need assistance. We recently purchased the char broil grill on sale for $299.00, normal price is $349.00. Loved that it came with a griddle. One of the main reasons for our purchase. I do like how you can pay your lowes credit card right at the counter. Very easy and convenient. I feel they need to incorporate Apple Pay into their payment options. Surprised they did not incorporate this into their payment options. Avoid this location. On an early Sunday with few customers in site, not a single employee stopped to help me locate grout supplies. After walking laps around the store a lazy cashier pointed in a general direction of an aisle to find a specific grout brush rather than use the walkie to call for help. I spent 15 minutes on a goose chase and found nothing. You could argue that Home Depot and Lowes are generally the same, but I always get help at the Lake Mary HD without having to beg. Also, the website makes it easier to locate things in the store. Definitely go here instead! read more

I'm not even a homeowner but I seem to come here all the time. It's pretty much the same as every other store in the chain. Plenty of parking. In fact, more parking than they'll ever possibly need. No shade though. You can't enter through the exit door, so make sure you use the entrance door. I like that if you need to return something there's a separate entrance once you go inside the main entrance. Employees are usually helpful and friendly. Although it's sometimes easier if you just use the app - it'll tell you the aisle, bay and shelf number for everything. They're also really generous with returns. You can return pretty much anything for any reason here even if you already opened and used it. read more

Went in to pick up an online order for my husband, which, of course was not ready. When I entered the store there was no sign that said "pick up" or the like. I saw customer service which said RETURNS all over, but no pick up. So I blew past that and went till I found a red jacket. Well, she sent me back to customer service. I entered the exit , of course, because I sure wasn't going to go back outside the store. I was not in line. Anyway, I finally got helped only to find out the order was not ready. I said, tell me what and where and I will get it. I was told aisle 59 bay 23 under Tools. Went there. Nothing. Stood around for about 5 mins and a nice older man asked to help. Showed him the picture and he went to a different 59 and picked the item (2 sections labled 59!). I walked it back to customer service and, you guessed it, it was not the right item. 30 minutes in the store! Finally the woman at CS got someone to go get the right item. The entire process was very frustrating. A sign would be nice, and since most of the people going into Lowes don't know anything, some experienced workers would be nice. read more

Lowe's Sanford's level of Customer Service has been deteriorated SIGNIFICANTLY ever since Scott, the former General Manager had left the store a year ago! Multiple level of customer service issues has been noted including inconsistency in leadership direction and implementation of something as basic as not to yell at customers on the sales floor in presence of dozen other customers, opening the garden center late (I will be more than happy to provide metadata verified photographs), inconsistent mark-down policy, not marking down damaged soil bags and leaving them on sales floor and not even attempting to do so when customers point that out and request the Lawn & Garden Manager, Tod, to assist. Called Customer Service and spoke to a very knowledgeable and helpful agent named Karen, who had proposed a brilliant idea of the store to reach out to me after they mark soil bags and water purifying salt bags down and advised me that I will get a phone call from the store with that Win-Win solution. Did get a phone call from the store from Ovidia Guzman who thanked me for catching the mistake on their markdown policy implementation and absolutely with no solution to move forward or any mention of Karen's brilliant idea which is a win-win solution. Called the store 3 times, 1st he was on lunch, 2nd time he was bust with customer and 3rd time, as I am typing this letter I am on hold for 35 minutes! Did Lowe's replace their Customer Service Department with Customer DISSERVICE Department? If so, you are doing an AMAZING JOB OF treating customers how they DON'T want to be treated and showing their Loyalty with their feet by WALKING AWAY FROM YOU!!! read more

I went to Lowe's Friday afternoon to return an 18 inch lightbulb and pick up a 24 inch lightbulb. I really should have measured first! While waiting in the returns line, I noticed that quite a few customers were not wearing masks, even though our county is under a mandatory mask order. I was at the front of the store, and I thought that management just hadn't reached out to those non- compliant customers yet. The time during my shopping for the new lightbulb, I also saw many customers without masks. When I got in line to purchase the new bulb, I looked around and realized that there were at least ten people in my immediate vicinity without masks. I saw a Lowe's employee with his mask mostly under his chin and a store manager having a lengthy conversation with the couple ahead of me in line, but he never mentioned masks to these customers. This makes me really uncomfortable shopping at this location of Lowe's. Next time, I'll try Home Depot. read more

I ordered saltillo tile grout online from Waterford lakes only to be told they didn't have it in store, though online showed them as having at least 10 bags. The store associate arrogantly canceled my order after I explained that the grout was the only unusual item that would have brought me to the store... No sense driving 25 miles to pick up items less than a few miles from my house. Contacted the Sanford store who had 11 bags... Nope only 7 and that was after verifying ahead, talking to an associate Eddie, and waiting in store for the remaining 4 bags which no one could find. A lot of stuff We recently needed to do a lot of work in a recently purchased home. Since we had practically no tools, equipment or much of anything else we needed a place where we could buy a lot of different things, quickly, easily and inexpensively. Since we had experience with other Lowe's and this particular store happen to be near by, we decided to give it a look. Sure enough this was a huge place, nicely organized and labeled in both English and Spanish. We had no difficulty in finding the multitude of mundane, unusual, or just plain bizarre things we needed. We found most of the stuff ourselves but for the occasion thingamajig or doodad that we weren't sure about we found an employee to help us. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful but it did usually take some time to find one that wasn't dong a zillion other things. Frequently talking to another customer, on the phone or trying to go in four different directions at once. It requires a bit of patience to actually talk to one. The store was clean or as clean as stores like this can be and in general everyone was polite and helpful although a few more employees would certainly be nice. We exchanged a few things without difficulty and the stuff we had to order arrived on time and in excellent shape. A pretty useful store for people that want to do the work themselves but aren't always sure exactly what they need to do the job. read more

Wow, what a bad experience. I'm trying to put up shelves and buy two 6' piece which need to be cut in half. I take it to the area to get wood cut, and nobody is there (the entire place seemed totally understaffed at 4:30 for some reason, despite being packed with customers), so I hit the help button. After a while, when nobody comes, I go look for somebody but can't find anyone so I speak to a cashier who says she'll send somebody. After another 15 minutes or so, someone comes up to tell me it will be about a thirty minute wait, even though all I need is to get two planks cut in half. Ok, whatever, I'll borrow tools from a friend and do it myself. So I go to checkout and the cashier there has the nerve to accuse me of hiding the brackets under the shelves. I'm using a flat bed, they would've slid off if I put them on top, they are these cheap brackets under $2, and clearly, if I was hiding them, then why are they poking out? Unreal. Sanford, FL Lowes has hands down the worst customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. Have a quick question for the front desk or need to locate a special order? Be prepared to spend at least 1 hour on hold to be told they can't find it or the person who can is unavailable. I purchased over $3,000 over a weekend. This purchase included my appliances. My appliances were delivered without everything I purchased. The delivery manager Louis had no clue as to what he is doing and made no effort to follow up with me to ensure I received my products. The delivery staff were showing up at my home when I wasn't even present, calling me to tell me they were at my gate. I had to advise them that they were not scheduled to be there at that time. The whole experience was a huge inconvenience for be because I had to take off from work TWICE. My advice, don't order anything that needs to be delivered from this location. read more

Bad customer service all lazy people. I made an online order. Asked them to check on it. They said no we aren't checking on online orders today. I said fine let me go check on the lawn mower and see where it is. Lawn mower wasn't there so went back to customer service to check on it they said no we aren't checking on it. I finally said, "Look I'm a paying customer can you just check on it." After other customers heard this they felt obligated so lady picks up a phone and asks the person on the other end if a lawn mower is back there. Lady immediately says no. I said how is she supposed to know she didn't even check. You just asked her and and she immediately said no. So went back and forth and I called them lazy. They kicked me out of the store. I buy tons of stuff from them. I have probably spent around 50-75k over the past 5 years in their store on home renovations. It actually may be more, but I've lost track. Now this lowes won't get my business. If I'm in a pinch i'll buy from a different lowes or if there is a good deal maybe different lowes. But these customer service people are lazy at this lowes and need to get fired. THIS PART IS A FOLLOW UP AFTER I WROTE THIS REVIEW: I like to be fair to people and businesses so this is a follow up. After writing this review I called corporate customer care. Customer care notified the store manager of my complaint and the store manager Steve Morrow reached out and apologized. All said and done he did also give me an additional 10% discount after I requested it. I'll give them credit for trying to keep their customers. And they did treat me well after my complaint. I'll give them 4 stars for the treatment they gave me after the complaint. So I will continue to shop with lowes. read more

Long story short we had an issue with our refrigerator being defective and the replacement coming in damaged. After speaking to management they agreed to swap it out for a different model for the same price we paid but due to COVID everything was on back order. Called in to follow up after about 6 weeks and nothing had been noted about our previous discussions. I have now been there four times and I don't think I have ever had worse service in any store in my lifetime!!! All I wanted to do was buy a $500 lawn mower and I was treated like I was ruining their day. I did buy that lawn mower because I needed it but their bad service cost them a $1000 patio furniture and pergola purchase. Home Depot down the street was so much nicer. If you need to get something from Lowe's I would go to the Oviedo or winter springs store they actually want you to come back. read more

I was desperately searching for ONE light that went on clearance to match my other two. I looked online and the inventory of this Lowe's said there were three in stock. I made my online order and called the next morning and spoke to Rob. Rob was extremely well mannered and told me he would personally get the light and put it aside for me until I could pick it up. A few minutes later he called to inform me they did not have any of those lights left in stock, but took it upon himself to already have contacted the GM who said that they would take down the display light for me if I wanted it. Now that is customer service! I now have three matching lights (so happy about that) and a great customer experience! I wish there were more "Rob's" working in customer service!!! read more
