Room 691, 80 degrees when I checked in at 8:30. Set to 70 and had hardly cooled to 77 by 2:30am Room is also next to the only operating elevator in the entire hotel and every time the elevator goes up or down it sounds Ike a whining dog on the other side of the wall. We hardly got any rest whatsoever but hey, at least this time no crackhead natives cut the locks on my trailer and stole around $5000 worth of my family's possessions as they did on Fathers Day. What shit hole we had tickets for Jay Leno we got there early and wanted to have nice meal at Thunder Road. We walked up at 5 made our reservation and were handed a buzzer and told it would be 35 minute before being seated 40 minutes went by asked the hostess how much longer it would be she said would probably be another 45 minute. So we tried to get into there other restaurants but the lines were impossible to get into . We ended eating two very unsavory ham sandwiches never again. Came into Stadium 66 sports bar for some wings & fries and use my players reward coupon of 20 bucks off. The wings are large and meaty. The fries are crispy and hot. Great food, great employees, great casino experience.....but the recent Ralph Barbosa show was a downer. I've been a fan for over a year and was excited to learn he was coming to ABQ. Loved his videos and followed him on YouTube & Facebook. I bought tickets right away / VIP seating / Row 2. ----- The evening sucked. For starters, he needs to FIRE whoever told him he needed to lock up everyone's cell phones before they could enter the venue. Ralph, you're good but you're not a superstar. The last time I had to do that phone crap was in Las Vegas to see Garth Brooks!! Besides trying to play a big shot with that phone thing, it delayed the start of the show for over an hour and a half. The lines to get into the venue were over 300 people deep as people were stopped at the main entrance and forced to put their phones in a locked faraday pouch. Casino management hated it and every one of your fans hated it. The entire experience put a damper on your performance. ------ AND THEN....when the show ended, the lines formed AGAIN as people waited in lines again for someone to unlock those stupid pouches and give them their phones back!! --- The show was good, but certainly not a performance that was worth the hassles and time spent in lines for our phones. ----- And no, we couldn't have left our phones in our vehicles, the tickets to the show were digital tickets on our phones. read more

First of all , we were on the way from Las Cruses with our 42ft 5th wheel. The reservation people called to remind us of our reservation and wanted to know what time we would be in. We said we're on the road, maybe 4 hours or so. She said I have to know a time..1:30...2:00, 2:30? Walked away, later on went to the snack bar for a bag of popcorn, 2nd in line, some guy jumped up and said "I'm next"...it was obvious he had been sitting at the table for a while...so no popcorn....the employees here are extremely rude, it's obvious they dont like or appreciate white people in their Indian casino...OH..had a coupon for 10cents off per gallon of fuel, took the coupon in and was told I had to leave my credit card at the desk with this blue haired dude, I said that's not going to happen, just put $25.00 worth of fuel on my card, I'll pay now and come back in for the 10 cent per gallon credit. We stay at hotel at least twice a year on our travels always a good experience. Husband is a veteran and disabled. I always check in and take bags in while he parks car. Girl at front desk NOT friendly at all. Told me she couldn't check me in until husband arrived. I have never had a problem before. I always get checked in an then we can go straight to our room when he meets me at check in. First she said he had to to be there, then I was told they had to see his veterans card,never had this happen before, I asked if we could get checked in and he could show card when he got there as we stay here quite often, she said no. Ok I usually like to play in this establishment. This time however was the worst experience I have had at a hotel. First of all I am an amputee and I have a hard time getting around with my prosthetic. I was told that if I needed help they would assist that was never offered. They are currently doing construction and THERE IS NO HANDICAP PAKING had to park 6 rows back on the far side of the casino and walked forever and had 2 rest twice.i had problems with the lamp and the shower was leaking I made a request with maintenance I called at 8 am nobody comes by until after 3 calls he gets there at 6pm and says he can't fix either. He says someone will changes room after 3 hours of waiting for that call they say all supervisors are gone for the day we are now on day 3 I asked to speak to the supervisor at 8 in the morning because I was woken up at 6:30 by construction vehicles beeping constantly. I make 6 total trips to the front desk and waited till 4:20 still no manager she leaves at 2:30 so I finally sit and wait at the front desk I wait for 15 min for a supervisor and she sends the maintenance guy I asked why nobody called to change my room 2 days ago he said he didn't know I WAS IGNORED the whole time. No help getting help to getting my things to the car. The only good thing I had the most amazing housekeeping staff who on the last day fixed the lamp. Do not stay here if you can avoid it. I spent over 2000 dollars there and could not even get anyone who would even acknowledge me. Stay at Sandi's or isletta where they take care of you and want your business read more

I've visited a lot of casinos in different cities, and I love this one! It is non-smoking! I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, and usually, have to look for a non-smoking room or leave quickly. It was very big, nice, and clean with 3 restaurants and a snack bar open. I didn't see a gift shop. Since it is Route 66 and was decorated as so and decorated very well, I was surprised that they didn't have one with some Route 66 gifts. They are building a performance venue it looked like. We ate at the sports bar. My husband enjoyed the televisions with sports while I enjoyed the music and huge screen with music videos. It had a balcony level, too. Very cool! The food was good. We plan to go here again when in the Albuquerque area, even, though, we lost money on the machines. We stayed at their very nice RV Resort. read more

6/20/21: Hotel is now 100% NO-SMOKING INSIDE and you must be 21+ to enter. Saw workers sanitizing and cleaning throughout my 2 hours there. Everyone gets a thermal temperature test either via touchless thermometer or infrared technology before going though those doors. Face masks MUST BE WORN by ALL! Enjoyed a few slot machines that allowed me to keep my money . There is a snack bar (Quick Bites), Stadium66 sports bar and 2 lounges (Pub & Main Street). Ate at Stadium66 and had 2-meat cheeseburger with fries. The fries seem to be shoe string size and warm. Informed my server (Jaron/ Jaren) and he corrected right away. Just came in from a 12 hours road trip, First room we were given, there was pee stains, and hair in between the comforter and sheets. Bathroom tub was dirty and missing paint. We requested new linen but housekeeping was no where to be found. Got moved to another room down the hall and the room smelt like cigarette smoke. Had to call AGAIN, and finally got a nice "VIP" room. You can tell they didn't want to give us that nice room that's probably offered to special members of the casino but with all the moving around, we deserve it!!!! read more

Im surprised to see the negative reviews here. My boyfriend and I are truck drivers and we stopped in and had a great time. The buffet was delicious and had a wonderful variety. Personally I felt it was priced fairly. $28.99/person for lunch with endless steak, shrimp, crab, sushi and much more. The manager was walking around and it was clear he takes pride in his job. He was attentive, friendly, and looked hard at work making sure everything was up to standard. All the staff here were wonderful. Attentive and helpful but not overbearing. However, we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. Prime rib was excellent. The variety was okay but it surely wasn't worth $45.99. We've seen this at $15.99 buffets. With astronomical price, you will definitely not have an abundance of customers. The dining room is quite spacious and there were maybe 15-20 people there. Salad bar was very basic nothing that was tantalizing. Chinese food looked like it had been sitting there untouched for a while. I did try the Pho and was unable to eat it because it had a very unsavory, medicinal flavor. Overall, food was not what we expected. How can a family (of four or more) afford this buffet??? The service was excellent. Our server came by several times, picked up the unwanted dishes without delay and asked if there was anything we needed. We felt really bad that they worked so hard for a small amount of customers. We will not be returning to pay this amount $$$ for average food. Prices need to be adjusted!! read more

We stayed Friday to Sunday, absolutely nothing bad to say, hotel was VERY clean, updated and comfortable. Restaurant was delicious (Laguna Burger) and very clean. Casino has a GREAT variety of games and even came home with some $. Staff at check in, wait staff as well as housekeeping were polite and accommodating. We were hesitant to book here because of some reviews we read and I just can't figure out where the negativity is coming from. We did not experience anything even close to some of the reviews. we were recently at the concert BTO at 66 casino accommodations at the hotel were wonderful. Went to dinner at thunder Road their steakhouse service absolutely horrible when we asked to speak to a manager, we talked to two different people one even said he was a general manager that morning when we checked out, I went to make a complaint, went to the restaurant to get the name of the manager and found out neither one or managers. 30 minutes to get water 40 minutes to get our drinks we ordered our food and brought brought a over cooked baked potato brought another, which wasn't much better when we told the manager this no compensation whatsoever. I even had to remove a automatic gratuity. They put on it since our waitress was so horrible. we were a party of six and my husband asked them to remove it that is all they did and we still left that no good waitress 20 bucks so disappointed we've gone there for the last couple of years and never have I had service like this. they should not treat customers so horrible after we stayed at hotel and gambled. Dreadful! The room was nice, dinner at the Steakhouse was excellent. I even walked away from the slots ahead of the game! So why "dreadful"? Customer Service ruined our stay. The girl who checked us in didn't greet me or even look at me. She answered my questions in short rude sentences. I asked for help getting our luggage to our room and she said "we don't really have anyone, but let me call" i stood outside for 35 minutes waiting for help. No one came. No cart to use. No help. We struggled, 3 trips later we wetr in the room. The girl thay checked us in stated that the pool closes at 11pm. So we went to dinner. After dinner i was looking forward to a nice workout, a swim and the hot tub. The pool closed at 9pm. 9 P M on a Saturday night!!!!! I really want at least 1/2 of my eoom charge back. We enjoyed all the food at the eateries. Parking is easy. The hotel needs management help with customer service and reservation services. We ate at the steakhouse at the bar for dinner and Brian took good care of us. loved the food we had and people around us had great looking fajitas and lots of people eating the crab legs. Went back for breakfast with the $3 off. Coupon given to us at the front desk. Breakfast service and food were great also. Room and bed were very comfortable nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and they were brought up immediately. We will definitely stop here again. It's very easy to get to write off highway 40. The fries are cut and cooked fresh, we also ordered chili cheese fries christmas (red and green chili) the green chili Laguna burger was so juicy and made with freshly roasted Hatch New Mexico chili, the bacon on the bacon green chili cheese Laguna burger was thick cut and freshly cooked not that paper thin microwaved stuff.
