Really cool spot along Route 66! This unique drive-through also has a takeout window with some outdoor seating. We enjoyed the chili cheese dog and Chicago dog. The French fries were delicious, not sure what the seasoning is but it was a pleasant surprise. Loved the nostalgia of this place, and service was helpful and quick. Great view of the mountains too!

Love the Dog Haus on Route 66 in Flagstaff! Must stop whenever in the city. Originally came for the nostalgic Route 66 vibe and Eagles history (if you know, you know) but now come for the delicious food and outstanding service! Their chili is scratch made and AWESOME! Have enjoyed on everything from burgers, dogs, fries, and tots! Live in Vegas and always get large batch of chili to take home in our ice chest. Can't forget the steak burritos at breakfast! This is an outstanding anytime spot! Great owner caring for the quality of product and the long term staff who all provide a level of customer service hard to find these days! Highly recommend!

This is the lettuce wrapped Sonora dog, and I truly did try to take a picture as soon as I unwrapped it.

Love the food, sometimes love the service, but there is no ambience as this is primarily a drive-through or walk up spot. Don't let that deter you. The hotdog was of high-quality and had a grilled taste to it as did the burger..kind of reminded me of family picnics. The pictures I posted are of the kids meals which unfortunately were partially consumed before I remembered to take a picture. Do be aware that if you pay with a card, an additional 3.75% is added. And as is true just about everywhere these days this was not inexpensive. I've posted a picture of the bill so you can get a feel for it.

Delicious hot dogs, with great toppings, and super nice and friendly service! We even got a free hot dog for our dog! We had just made it the BOGO too, so half of our dogs were free! What a deal! There's a drive through but we walked up and waited and the food was fast! Highly recommend!

Stopped here for the first time today. Not impressed. Hot dog was swimming in ketchup and mustard. I had to wipe a ton of it off with the wrapper. The fries were undercooked and were too salty to eat and I like salt. My daughter liked the chili cheese tots so it wasn't a total loss. Probably won't stop here again.

Doghaus is conveniently on rte 66 and doing a brisk drive thru service when I was there. Service was excellent by Phylia. I had the polish dog sandwich with sauerkraut and tater tots on the side which was at my table in about 10 minutes. Doghaus is a fun place for hot dog craving people.

So beautiful I had to snap a picture of the spicy wiener hut with the snowy mountains...

I really wasn't attracted to the dogs as much. It was the silhouette of the mountain with the snow on the top and the backdrop. But I thought I'd send a sweet review since it was so picturesque. I'm not a quick fan of spicy hot weiner lengths. I hope this does somebody well as it was a beautiful site much love

    Is this the first one?

Dog Haus was a Der Weinerschnitzel originally. About 20 years ago the former owners started the Route 66 Dog Haus. We are not associated with any other restaurants. But coming soon we are currently finalizing a food trailer, “Dog Haus II” to take…

While I admit, the food is not the greatest food you will ever have; I will say that most of the food is good, and there is enough variety to not make coming here a terrible chore. The Hot Spot, like any cafeteria/buffet possesses a few constants. In the morning, they usually serve the same assortment of stuff with slight varieties to the choices such as the occasional inclusion of bacon as a meat choice. During lunch and dinner, they always serve burgers and fries, pizza, Mongolian style Chinese food, among others. That being said, there is still enough variety to make people happy. First, they have a sandwich bar where students can have someone make their own custom sandwich, there is a vegetarian vendor that serves different items everyday, They even have theme weeks, where they cook up international dishes. Lastly, every afternoon they have a snack bar open where they serve different snacks including ice cream, puddings, and others. Overall, I think this place is pretty decent and I would temper your expectations for fine dining because this is not a 5 star place. However if you come here expecting an abundance of decent quality food at a good price, I think you might be pleased.

Somewhere along the line, we missed the boat. I ordered the Lumberyard mac & cheese and added pulled chicken and roasted poblanos. My goodness it was a lot of food. The mac & cheese was good, not southern good, but still good. The poblanos were a perfect addition but the chicken was drowned in a cloyingly sweet BBQ sauce. I definitely wouldn't order the chicken again. The hubs had the Santa Maria tri tip. The meat was tough. Quite a few pieces too tough to even chew. Luckily, my meal was huge so he had that to fill up on. I saw the 32 oz cocktails and the former party girl in me immediately kicked in. I think my husband saw the look in my eyes. Maybe the aura around me and put a kabosh on it immediately. I ended up with a 16 oz, still large but that inner 22 years old was disappointed. 32 oz and you should be stumbling down San Fransisco. 16 oz should have at least brought a big 'ol grin. But alas, I couldn't even taste the alcohol. That inner party girl didn't let out that big 'ol grin. (That's ok. The tolerance of 22 year old me has faded through the years). Enough digression, would we come back? Yes, I think it's worth a second shot. We would, however, try something different.

I'll be honest, I love hot dogs, but I am not a big fan of corn dogs, although my husband is! They have many options and combos, making their corn dogs, sweet and savory. My husband loves a coating of sugar around his corn dogs, but that is not a fave of mine! I'm more of a spice girl, now, I'll tell you what I want what I really really want! If you want to be my corn dog, you'll have to be the Spicy Dog or the Potato Dog, those two are my faves! I am a fan of the hot Cheetos powder, and the Two Hands dirty sauce! We really liked the Dirty Fries as well! Next time I think we will try the Elote. I love the options like half sausage and half mozzarella, spicy beef, sausage, half mozzarella and half cheddar, etc. and coming soon they will have plant-based sausage and mozzarella. They have some combo boxes and if you order online, your order is always ready when you arrive! They have a few tables but mostly cater to go. There's plenty of benches around Aspen Place to enjoy your dogs. Two Hands is definitely worth a try!
