Yes go here! Super cute place! Very friendly bartender. The fried pickles and street corn appetizers were yummy. The biggest bowl of chicken soup I have ever seen and it was good. And like other Yelp reviews, the brisket BLT is delicious. I'll be going back when I'm in town again. read more

Staff was horrible. More focused on vaping and talking to their 3 friends then our large table. Food was over cooked and flavorless. Had to go to the bar to get drinks as staff never checked on us. When asked about separate checks staff was rude. They definitely did not mind adding a 25% gratuity to our bill because we had more then 4 people. Should have known not to stop when the parking lot was empty on NASCAR weekend. Will not be back. Will not recommend. read more

It's 6pm on Saturday Night, we walk in, sit at the bar. The bartender tells us she can take our our food order for 40 minutes. There are 20 people in place. I tell her that fine, we are just drinking. I politely ask her to turn up Touch Tunes and she says, has to ask the manager. Then tells me "that if I play any gangsta rap she is overriding it because there are kids in the bar". I tell her I wouldn't do that, I am a mom, she proceeds to tell me that "she is letting me know, and she will override any music and she has to ask the manager if she can turn it up. I told her not to bother she tells me she needs to ask anyway because she needs to know. Then a younger man, from what I think is the local lions club ask the manager for a donation for their raffle, the manager says he doesn't have time for that. The manager doesn't even let him explain what it's for, just says he doesn't have time. The young man, very politely says "you don't have time for a donation?" He says, No. The young man says he will just buy a gift card, well now because he will pay for a gift card out of his pocket, the Manager now has time. We stopped at this same place last year, when it was run by "the sisters" we had a amazing time! We heard it was new ownership, We will never, ever again stop here. This place was great. Interesting beers on tap and they were so thoughtful when we asked to share the mac n cheese. How they were thoughtful? They brought the one order out into two separate bowls for us. We had ordered the brisket mac and cheese. It was so creamy and the fat and smoke on that brisket cut through the richness of the pasta dish. I can honestly say one of the best things I have ate all year. Also their service was super quick! It was an awesome place to stop at to get out of the rain at the races on Saturday. I would come back in a heartbeat! read more

A group of 13 of us went in for food and drinks, we were the only people there when we arrived. Looked great, we were really looking forward to enjoy our time there. Boy did that change. Waiter wouldn't split the bill because of the size of our group (I would've understood more if they were busy, but they weren't). Food came out, mediocre at best. If you wanted another drink, you had to go to the bar to get it because they never asked us if we wanted more. Never came to check and see how we were liking the food or if we wanted to order anything else (some people only ordered appetizers). We asked questions about playing darts and recieved a crappy response from the waiter (so nobody wanted to play). When we went to go ask for the bill so we can leave, the employees seemed to only care about the 2 people at the bar that were seeming to be friends or locals (we all have seasonal campers at the campground down the road). We completely understand why they were not busy at 7:30pm on a Saturday night, with a Nascar series down the street at Road America. This is the first time I have ever written a review about anything in my 45 years of being on this planet, because I disliked this place that much. Went on weekday for late lunch, about 2:00. Pretty slow for middle of summer. One larger table of diners and a four top when I came in. Had cocktail (well poured) and Bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Burger was pretty good and well appointed. Only complaint Was bacon was a little stringy and not crisp and pulled entire strips out each time you took a bite. But minor issue as burger was tasty and well cooked. Thumbs up for the renovation. The outdoor space is great!! And dog friendly!!! The menu choices are different, not standard bar fare. Have eaten here a couple times and each time the food was good. From tacos to hummus, a pulled pork platter, all delicious. Be aware, it can get crowded on a holiday or race weekend. read more

Pretty disappointed - at the time of our visit (July 2021) they were operating under a limited menu of only 4 BBQ items... And the two we tried we very bland. Not a connoisseur of BBQ by any means but I know the difference between bad,ok, and good... And this was somewhere between bad and ok. Disappointed because I came for the Mac and cheese picture I saw on Yelp which wasn't available... Giving two stars because of waitress provided decent service. Not a ton of options for dining around. Probably fine if you are just looking to throw back some beers ( and who knows, after that I'm sure the food tastes better). read more

Very little bad to say. This was our first visit. Fairly busy at the bar but the bartender was handling it well. She was friendly and attentive. The beer was good and the food we had was also very good. My buddy and I were recently here while in town for the SCCA Runoffs at Road America. Being racers we immediately appreciated the atmosphere. The beers on tap were excellent and the food was good. But you do not let children ride razor scooters or skateboards inside the restaurant. It was obvious the parents didn't care, and the wait staff was ambivalent about it. Have a little backbone and ask the parents to stop their children from bothering your other guests. read more

I have been their several time with good results but this was the first time back during the covid-19 and I wanted to treat my daughter out for a good meal. We both ordered their BBLT and wings. first thing it took over an hour from the time I sat down to the time my food arrived, secondly the food was not good at all. My appetizer "WINGS" came when my food came and it was cold and rubbery and my sandwich was not edible, it was like chewing on leather and the same with my daughters BBLT. Sad as it's a very cute and fun place to come to with tons of great personality but the food this time came up short. Skip this place if you can. Took forever to get our food. Tables that arrived way after we did got served much faster even though we requested to have our kids food brought out ASAP. When our food finally arrived it was as though the kitchen thought we requested extra grease. Except the chicken breast i ordered that was so small it turned out to be more like a single chicken tender. After denying that they had messed up our order kudos for taking the appetizer off the bill. There are much better places to eat in Elkhart Lake. read more
