This is a cozy little Italian place that was probably the best place to eat in Natchez. I was not impressed with the food scene here, but found this to be a good place to try. We ate here twice when here for four days. We love old houses, so coming down here was a bucket list item for us. We split their chicken parm, had a dessert, and drinks. I loved their espresso martini! That is a must, and totally worth it. I was a bit surprised on the prices thinking they would be a little less being that we were 1. in Mississippi 2. this is not a high end establishment, but being from Nashville, the prices were comparable to what we pay at a mid-range Italian place in our city. Just be prepared and do not have expectations that you are paying less just because you're in MS, lol. Service was iffy. That was one thing I can't really attest to. For starters, on the first night, we saw a couple of waitresses "getting into it" and though they were in their own little corner, they were still obviously heated with one another. The second visit was fine, but we saw our server very little, and we had to fetch her to get more water. Overall, the experiences were fine. I think it is worth coming for drinks at minimum if you do not dine here. read more

I came here with some friends on a Monday! Super unique spot it had some cozy natural lighting! Our server was Shannon! Super lovely woman! A table was giving her a hard time but shame on them because she was excellent and attentive! The food was great too! The garlic bread was light and airy with that sweet vinaigrette! Food was amazing. Large portions as well with nice selection of drinks. The review dropped because of the service. Dining alone and on business travel I never expect to be treated as a regular however my service was sharp. Even entering the restaurant I was asked "Can I help you?" And when I responded I would like a table the look was almost shock. The rest of the evening barely met the minimum standards expectation. After a group of regulars entered and then the difference was impossible to miss. The servers were running telling each other Dr so and so was there to get his table ready. I would recommend this restaurant if they would warm up the service a bit. Though I should have expected the service interaction when the manager and another person were heavily arguing at the front door in some sort of meeting. read more

Me and my husband went for lunch and the food was really good so was the service. The only problem we had was we went based on photos and pricing we had found online thinking it would be decently priced, but they have not updated their pricing online at all. Instead of paying $14 for lunch special, it is now $21 for the lunch special. they went up in price and need to update their online stuff for people that are from out of town. We honestly would not have gone if we knew it was that pricey just for lunch. Especially since we are on a budget. read more

First time to Pearl Street Pasta and very pleased overall. Set in and old brick walled building with exposed rafters and real candlelight on the tables was classic. Shannon was our server a gave great recommendations. Our cocktails were great and the food was sent out in a timely manner. Started with the house salad and Shannon recommended the house dressing which was outstanding! Sweet with a little zing added to fresh, crisp vegetables was something to come back for. We ordered the shrimp, crab and crawfish pasta and it was delicious. The shrimp were plump and succulent, large lumps of crabmeat and the cream sauce was just right, not too garlicky and not too thick. We also had the spaghetti with meatballs and the left a smile on your face. A slightly sweet sauce and great meatballs. The portions are large so there's plenty to take home for next day. Cozy dining room for date night, excellent service on point. Food was tasty, if salty. And I'm one who often adds salt to my food-- no need here! The sautéed spinach was almost 'brined'. Ordinarily I'd cut a salty taste with a bite of another dish, but my entree was a rich risotto covered very generously in cheese! The scallops were perfectly seared on the edges, tender, juicy and delicately sweet. I wish I'd had a whole entree of just scallops! After the very filling bruschetta appetizer (see pic- different than I was expecting) I couldn't finish my entree. The bruschetta was four large pieces of French bread with a rich, creamy sauce. Each entree came with a generous hunk of French bread, too. Companion enjoyed lasagna. We will be back for another special evening. read more

This was quite possibly the most excellent meal I have ever had the pleasure of eating. To describe the pasta as simple "food" would do an injustice to the magnificence and grace with which the pasta is prepared. I am convinced the chef is an avatar of some Italian god. The service is also excellent. My dying wish is to have my ashes spread on the street outside this heavenly place so that I might smell unadulterated glory emanating from this establishment one last time. Both the service and the food was excellent. Our table of 8 had a variety of dishes and there were no complaints. I ordered the lasagna and it was perfectly baked (not mushy) and the sauces and bolognese tasted fresh. We finished off the meal by ordering all three desserts (chocolate cake with cream, ice cream, caramel and fudge sauce; a salted caramel cheesecake; and crème brûlée). We shared small portions of each dessert and the overall winner was the crème brûlée. The decor was really cool. We enjoyed looking at all the period pieces from decades ago. You should visit Pearl Street Pasta next time you're near Natchez. read more

Amazing food here! The blackened sea scallops on risotto were reported by wife as the best she has ever eaten. Also liked the prosciutto-wrapped shrimp and calamari. All food delivered at a good and hot temperature. We also got the pepperoni flatbread pizza that was fantastic. The cheese was really good and tasted great. Generous pours on my wife's chardonnay and my beer. Reasonable prices on everything. Great ambience and not too loud, even with a full house. Definitely return here. read more

We waited at the front for someone to acknowledge us. The staff kept walking by. Finally we walked to the bar and had to ask if we could seat ourselves. The hostess told us she had to ask her manager like we had to have reservations Waitress was nice but we waited for our dinner for over an hour. Let me start by saying I have eaten at Pearl Street Pasta several times in the last decade and have traditionally had a wonderful experience. HOWEVER, this time was the WORST restaurant experience I've ever had. I went with a group of 11 people and we were understandably seated at two adjacent tables. Our group was there around noon and did not get food for TWO hours. We were one of the first groups in the restaurant and were the LAST one to get our food. After being there for 90 minutes, I politely asked our server how much longer it would be before the food came out. She said she didn't know and that the kitchen was backed up because they had gotten a bunch of call-in orders. I've never heard of any restaurant putting call-in orders AHEAD of seated customers. Two hours after we were seated, our food arrived. Three minutes later and we had a HUGE cockroach fall out of the ceiling and onto our table. Everyone jumped up and quickly moved to other tables. The Pearl Street Pasta staff said "Well, it's an old building" as though that made it okay for a huge bug to fall onto table while eating. Although the server said she was sorry several times, at no time did a manager come out and talk to us. No one offered to comp us a drink or meal or simply offer an apology for the service and the roach. There are lots of other great options for lunch and dinner in Natchez. Look elsewhere unless you are trying to start a bug collection. read more

Lunch meeting here during the week. We had several of the appetizers and they were all amazing. Bruschetta , French bread and stuffed ravioli were all very good. I had the Chicken Parmesan . It was incredible. One of the best I've had. I got a house sales, which was just lettuce and a couple tomatoes, but the house dressing made up for it. Service was on point. While in Natchez, we asked several locals where we should go for dinner. This was hands-down the foodie's no. 1 restaurant suggestion. Charming mix of cafe bistro and wine bar. I have to say, the people in Natchez are so friendly and welcoming. We met four or five new friends in this restaurant. We decided to drink and dine at the bar with Bryant - friendly bartender. They have a nice wine selection and we luckily sat next to a wine distributor who had good suggestions. We also started with the prosciutto wrapped shrimp appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered the seafood pasta with shrimp crab and crawfish in a creamy Chardonnay sauce - fantastic! It was delicious and a generous portion - I had to take half home. Additionally this restaurant has an identity crisis. The prices are upscale, the host is abrupt and unfriendly. The menu selections are typical. The environment is part beer-room and part average chain. They need to figure it out and scrub down the kitchen. Oh, and there were flies: plural. read more

It tasted great and the portions were HUGE. I was able to get a full meal out of the leftovers. The staff are friendly and the service was good.
