Our lab Hawk has been going to Rover's now for almost 3 1/2 years since we got him. They are absolutely amazing with him and every dog I have seen there. Hawk goes absolutely crazy when we are driving down the road to Rover's. Finally they have been very accomodating with Hawk and his recent leg surgery. Any requests i've made to make sure he doesn't reinjure himself they have gone above and beyond to adhere too. Rover's we love you dearly and Hawky wishes he could go 5 days a week. Best place to bring your dog for fun and boarding. They will be loved, and safe! Kelly and the entire staff, we love you!

They also do monthly awards and doggy Halloween costume contests for those of us who spoil our pooches!

I don't know why I haven't yet written this review as our dog has been boarding at Rover's Place for over five years and he loves every moment there. When we moved from out of state, ensuring our pup got settled was one of our big worries. After his first daycare visit to now many overnight stays, he always pulls on the leash so he can get inside and run to play. The staff learn the regular dogs' names and personalities quickly and know that our pup can be a bit "chatty" (aka, he barks if he's not first for basically everything). Considering on a dog beach, our dog mostly sticks to himself, we find it to be amazing that when we check on him via webcam, he often starts his day at Rover's Place actually playing with the other dogs. We have also found the staff to be super attentive and they often go above and beyond caring for the pups. As an example, they diligently applied medicine over a recent stay (so much so our vet was impressed with how quickly a skin irritation healed). We very highly recommend Rover's Place!

It's a wonderful place for dogs! You can see that everyone who works there loves dogs and really cares about them. I have been taking Shyla here for day care for several years, and I board her there when necessary. I wouldn't trust Shyla to anyone else! The place is HUGE and very clean. There are several different areas of play, both inside and outside, and a few different types of sleeping areas for overnight guests. When you board your dog you get a report card, letting you know everything you'd want to know about your dog's stay! Plus they have webcams all over the place, but I don't use them anymore. I know Shyla is in loving care, safe and happy! Wiggly Tails is where you want your dog to be! (And this is about the 3rd review I've given them in the past four years! The wonderful people who work there have become our family! And it's Shyla's second home!)

We planned to board our dogs again later this year, and since it had been two years since we last boarded them, they asked us to bring our dogs in for a few hours of temperament evaluation. We dropped our dogs off yesterday for that few hours of evaluation, and alas, within 10 minutes of dropping them off the Wiggly Tails owner called and told us to come back and get our dogs. He said that our Jack Russell mix had become aggressive when they tried to remove his leash (his leash is a little tricky to remove, which in retrospect we should have advised them of). What we didn't appreciate was the owner's unwillingness to discuss the issue. Yes, our Jack Russell mix becomes aggressive when a stranger sticks their hands in his face, but he's always been that way and in the past the Wiggly Tails staff always found their way into his confidence, and he's never bitten anyone, but the owner was adamant: come get your dogs. We retrieved our dogs feeling that Wiggly Tails no longer wants or needs our business.

We boarded our healthy but elderly dog for a week at this facility. We boarded her here before without incident and always informed the handlers about her chronic conditions, but not life threatening conditions (bronchitis, arthritis and partial deafness). Before the week was over and on Christmas day (the day before we were due to pick her up) we received a text message (because why would anyone pick up the phone these days) informing us that our dog had diarrhea and had literally soiled all over herself. We asked whether we could pick her up right away in response to their text but were told that we should wait a couple of hours. After we brought her home our dog vomited several large rubber bands and bile and started shaking uncontrollably, followed by more diarrhea. We promptly took her to the emergency vet and spent hours there and many hundreds of dollars in testing, including an ultrasound the following morning, to treat her dehydration and to make sure that our dog had expelled all of the foreign matter from her system. We informed the Dog Stop of these facts and received a "poor dog" text in response, claiming that they were "investigating the matter." No phone call or any offer to make things right by this facility. The negligence of this business and their staff have caused pain and discomfort to our (former therapy) dog who has precious little time left on this Earth. I am outraged and how little concern they have shown for our animal and would never ever let any animal near this facility.

We were very fearful we would need to give up the dog for everyone's safety. Marnie was a literal miracle worker. She came to our home AND did work with our dog at her home. Marnie helped to make her into a more confident and safe pet. She is a completely different dog. She is able to be around other dogs and play, other humans and give love, and most amazing be around the cat and not bat an eye. All of this was achieved without any corrective therapy like shock or prong collars. Marnie was a god sent and I would recommend her to anyone with a dog. Regardless of how good or "bad" the dog is. She will help you to communicate and build everyone's confidence so that everyone is safe and happy.

One thing was clear from the start: Marnie loves dogs and understands them. The first time she came to our home, Jasper immediately took to her, and she to him. Jasper came to us through a shelter, a very sweet, high energy, 1 year old Australian cattle mix. He was smart and eager to please in some ways but pulled hard on walks and, after we had him for several months, became leash reactive and aggressive . We tried two different dog trainers, both highly recommended, but made little progress. From our first in-home lesson, it was clear that Marnie has a depth of understanding of dogs and how to work with them that we had not seen before. She has helped with us to understand the roots of Jasper's negative behaviors, how to help him feel secure, and how to recognize and avoid trouble with aggressive behavior He has improved so much in reactivity and aggression and generally in being more responsive. He's much better at walking without pulling and getting along with others at the dog park. Marni also does both day care and boarding at her home which is surrounded by an acre yard that is totally dedicated to dogs. She gives private lessons there too. With Jasper in among other dogs, Marnie showed us how to "read" his behavior and reactions to the other dogs and how to intervene with firmness and kindness. He loves going to her place and comes back home happy and even better behaved. We cannot recommend Marnie highly enough!

We have a Bernese Mountain Dog and a French Bulldog - who are obviously very different in terms of both personality and their needs. This past 8 nights, one of her employees Jim stayed overnight in our home with the dogs. He texted me to let me know how things were going regularly and he seemed to genuinely love spending time with the dogs. Our Berner can be stubborn so I typically tell the dog sitters not to walk her, but Jim took both of them on walks daily in order to keep them out of the messy yard. We returned home to 2 calm dogs, without any issues! We joked that the house looks cleaner than when we left - he definitely took care of cleaning up after the messy dogs (which I don't usually expect!) Melissa is great in responding for last minute visits if we are out unexpectedly and now we feel that when it's time for vacation, we can go again without worrying about the dogs!
