I have been going to this dentist for years. I have had cleaning done, cavities filled and replaced old fillings replaced with new white fillings. Never a problem. Today I went to her because I bit down on something that gave me a pain in my mouth. She fit me in and I only had a short time to wait. She and her office staff are always professional and curtous. Waited 1 hour plus even when on time for appointment at 10 am. 1 patient before me but 2 more patients came and left before I got called on last visit for cleaning. Dentist was rough and in real hurry. Needed more procedure and was told they will get insurance approval and will call when ready. 6 months go by and no calls. Called and followed up but was informed they have wrong insurance info even though I have been a patient for about 3 years. Confirmed insurance info and still waiting for 3 weeks now. read more

Dr. Layson is amazing! My family has been going to her for all of our dental needs for over 10 years. I have 2 kids and she is patient and my kids love her. One of my kiddos has special needs and she is so patient with him. Dr. Layson definitely goes above and beyond to address my child's dental needs. I'm having an awesome day. First day in over a month with no tooth pain !!!! Dr Rowena is awesome, does great work at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and calls you by name when you walk in the door. They are very flexible to your schedule and treat you like a valuable customer. I like the text reminders etc.... The office is over by Islands and Lowe's right off Magnolia so it's easy to get to. They do have Saturday hours. Maybe my review sounds too good to be true but I have been to plenty of places where you are only treated as insurance billing opportunity. The last review was written immediately after I received a few fillings. Unfortunately, after a few days after my fillings, I realized that something was wrong. Some of the fillings were not smoothed out and in turn my tongue was cut. I had to go back in for an appointment to get it smoothed out. In addition to that, I was upset that the gum alignment on my two front teeth was uneven (gum was pushed or cut higher on one front tooth than the other). Although when I smile, this gum misalignment is not seen, it still bothers me. Although the customer service here is really nice and the people here are thoughtful, I overall was not happy with the work that was completed. read more

I've been going here for about two years now and have nothing, but praise to give Dr. Layson and her team. The atmosphere is pleasant and the office is clean which helps make you feel comfortable while having procedures and cleanings done. Myra in the front always remembers me and my family, and is always so welcoming and nice. I have experienced a few others at the front and they are always welcoming as well. The dental assistants are always so friendly and talk to you while they are getting the room ready. Dr. Layson takes great care in making sure you are comfortable and not experiencing too much pain during every procedure and cleaning; she is gentle, but does an excellent job. I love that they will provide you a detailed print out of your teeth specific to your mouth, with a list of the procedures and their estimated costs that Dr. Layson recommends to you during your exam. Also, they offer any and every type of appointment reminder you can think of, which is great if you always forget to write your appointments down. Overall, Dr. Layson and her team are by far the best dental practice I have ever been too. I'm 54 yrs. of age and I have never had a dental office take the time to explain every step of a procedure and deliver such excellence ! I'm looking forward to receiving my permanent bridge in 2 weeks. It's not a popular emotion to look forward to going to the dentist, but the experience of prepping the area with tender loving care and also witnessing how at ease children under 7 yrs. of age were, I knew I was going to be treated with care.
