Asked him would he make room for others as his weights were scattered about for quite sometime while he was away talking with the staff. This patron became very hostile and threatened to kick my ass. There is a very simplistic feel to this gym...there may not be fancy equipment but everything they do is very effective. Travis is pretty hands on and makes sure you are doing exercises correctly to get the best results. He showed me how to improve my squat so that they were less harmful to my knees! I was also able to see some of his success stories there and these folks are inspiring! After two years, this facility still meets all my initial requirements. When I joined, the owner of the gym, Frizz Poe, provided her cell phone in the event I ever need to contact her. I enjoy 24/7 access, and member safety is enhanced by 24/7 monitoring. If someone is looking for training assistance, licensed trainers are available for consultation. Unlike any gym I have ever joined, there is also a licensed physical therapist, Russell Darrington of Phoenix Osteopractic Physical Therapy, located onsite. This is not a "Big Box" fitness center, so like anything else, you get what you pay for. The gym is not overcrowded, and all the members here are friendly and courteous.

Their gyms are sectioned off into different workout areas so that you can concentrate on different parts of the body or if you are in a rush you can grab a quick workout in the 30-minute workout room with less crowds. With a Black Card membership you also get access to their workout videos that you can air drop to your smart TV. These are great for when you don't want to get out in bad weather or just want to start your workouts in the privacy of your own home. I absolutely love the hydro-massage lounge chairs that come with Black Card membership. They sooth sore muscles after a long workout. And plenty of cleaning supplies in the rooms so you can wipe down loungers before and after use. They also have red light therapy and tanning booths for Black Card members. PF gyms are always clean and have sanitizing sprays and paper towel bins throughout gym so you can quickly clean off machines. Their bathrooms are always tidy and kept fresh. I think the icing on the cake with a Black Card membership is that you can always bring one guest with you AND you can workout at any Planet Fitness in the U.S!!! I travel from Florida to Texas three times a year and it's great that I can go to any Planet Fitness in either state. I will say the Duck Creek location parking lot is not in great of condition and I would ask that PF apply a little pressure to get it updated. In addition this location is still undergoing repairs in couple of rooms due to heavy rain leaks. It has been a couple of months and I suspect budget cuts but the machines are still in use and there is still plenty of room in the gym to move through machines. I've been a member of a few other gyms in both Texas and Florida and despite these (minor) setbacks, PF to me is one of the better ones. Give them a try.... No contracts!!!
