Classes are not consistently good in quality. Sometimes felt like I wasted my time driving there to do activities I could do on my own. Very restrictive and inconvenient scheduling. Often charged for services not performed due to their own scheduling limitations and unavailability of classes - This is very unfair and misleading to prospective customers. Attempted to cancel subscription only to be told it has to be done in person with the manager. The manager was never available when I went there. Raised this concern to the front desk. It's unethical to make cancellations this difficult, I said. When I finally canceled, they still charged me for the following month due to their "cancellation policy". They denied my efforts to resolve. So in the end, I was had and cheated. They got payment for classes they never provided me. read more

I signed up last June 2024 and so far I had a wonderful experience. New manager Emma and her front staff are very pleasant and courteous. They always wear a smile in their faces when we come in for a class. The trainers , all of them, are very knowledgeable and interactive w/anyone that needs help. The trainers/coaches go or walk up and down the aisle to make sure I hear them coz sometimes the background music gets loud. I noticed more flexibility in my body since I started/ joined this club. I love the stretching & center balance the most! I also started attending cardio sculpt for strength, i love every level they offer! I love Club Pilates in Rowlett. I have been a member for more than 4 years. They have great instructors who are very knowledgable about Pilates and physiology, so they make appropriate modifications whenever needed. It's been about a year since I lost my little brother and I was ready to get back into the gym. What they failed to mention while I was signing up was that their classes are full almost 24/7 for the level 1 and that you have to book your classes almost a month in advance, which doesn't help me with two jobs and not knowing when I will and will not be working. But that's not what's keeping me from coming back. I had forgotten about some of the classes I signed up for weeks ago when the one year anniversary of my brother's death came up. The manager called me asking why I wasn't showing up and I took accountability on my end and explained the difficult time myself and my family are going through and apologized and the manager responded with "well what are we going to do about this?" And I'm sorry, what are we going to do about me grieving my brother and forgetting the classes I had booked that week when I just apologized and explained once the one year anniversary was past I'd be a little better? I think that is such a poor way of responding to members and understanding situations, especially with me starting off with explaining and apologizing. A poor representation of the brand and the facility. I'm going to let my membership last the three months and then cancel immediately. Very disappointed that this happened the way it did because I was super excited. But also on my first class they tell you to tell the instructor if it's your first time so they can help you and the instructor came over only twice to show me how to use equipment and not even the proper form of the exercise. I get it's a full class but don't tell new members to have expectations of the instructors and get let down that way as well. read more

Buyers Beware had no idea that the sales associate was putting me into a contract. Sales associate basically did a bait and switch pitch. I was told l was signing to authorize monthly payments. When l tried to cancel that's when l found out l signed a contract. The contract and cancelation requirements are awful read it before signing. This club is a hit or miss with the instructors. I started Pilates at this club 10 months ago at first it was good instructors especially Jen! Who is no longer there and a lot of availability as far as class times now you can barely get in at convenient times which does not guarantee you a spot each week and most of the good instructors are gone. I got in on a promotion l paid 159 per month for 8 classes regular cost 199. It is no longer worth it for mediocre classes and you may not get a spot but you still have to pay no matter what or you just lose your credits. I am now forced to attend this club pretty much 45 more days due to the the cancelation policy!!! I will never recommend this club to anyone. As you can see other reviewers have had issues with the contract it is ludicrous and it is not good business practices. The manager Karrie is unprofessional will not verbally explain this confusing contract to me and some of the instructors do not instruct they talk for 30 minutes out of an hour that you pay for! They never answer the phone. This has been the worse experience BeWare. read more

I joined Club Pilates and was very happy there UNTIL life got in the way. I work like a crazy person and agreed to pay the monthly freeze payment, which I did for months. I did hope to go back when my work schedule freed up. In the meantime at an annual well woman appt I was told that they had found a mass in my breast. For three months I underwent extensive testing, procedures and ultimately major surgery to remove the mass that was in fact cancer. It's been a battle. Club Pilates called me and said hey we can't keep you on freeze anymore we are going to charge you your monthly fee. I explained the situation and that I needed to cancel my membership. They agreed but that I would still need to pay the monthly fee. I questioned why I would do that given what I was going thru. The girl actually had the audacity to ask me for my medical records so that "maybe" they would waive it. No, I'm not giving a stranger at a fitness center my deeply personal records. I mean she should have just asked me to come in so that they could look at my mangled breast. Because of this stress both emotionally and physically I have developed cardiomyopathy. Just yesterday they sent me three emails, a text and a phone call. Why? Bc the couple hundred bucks I don't believe that I should have to pay given the circumstance is that important to them. I think everyone in that organization should be ASHAMED of themselves! From the owner down to the instructors and desk help. I WOULD NEVER in a million years dream of treating someone the way that I have been treated and I would NEVER want to be affiliated with an organization that felt that money was more important than someone's life. If I could give them a negative 10 I would. I urge everyone that currently attends this facility or is thinking of joining to really think about if you want to be affiliated with such greedy, heartless people. read more
