Roxy's Cabaret - Where Sass Meets Sparkle! If Broadway and Vegas had a glittery love child, it would be Roxy's Cabaret. From the moment the curtain rises (or the heels click), you're in for a wild, fabulous ride of sequins, sass, and jaw-dropping talent. The performers? ICONIC. They lip-sync like their lives depend on it, dance like no one's watching (but we are, and we're living for it), and serve looks that could melt the snow off Nicollet Mall. It's quite common to see performers from RuPaul's drag race at this venue. So if you love the show, you might want to see the live version. The energy is electric, the crowd is hyped, and the drinks are strong enough to make you believe you can dance like that too. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, bachelorette, or just need a dose of fabulous, Roxy's delivers drama, comedy, and a whole lot of glitter. Pro tip: Tip your queens generously--they're working harder than your Wi-Fi during a Netflix binge. Roxy's isn't just a show--it's a full-on experience. Come for the drag, stay for the laughs, and leave with sore cheeks (from smiling, obviously)

The cast for Sunday brunch 7/7/26

I was visiting from California. I had an exceptional dining experience at the brunch. The performance truly left a lasting impression on me. The talents of Nina, Bebe, and Monica were showcased through their remarkable costumes and outstanding performances. Following the show, the cast graciously participated in a meet-and-greet session with the audience. The culinary offerings and service were superb. Our server demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and care in accommodating my gluten allergy requirements. Most definitely will be returning soon.

The drag show is very entertaining. Bring $1 bills to tip the queens. They do a good job and interact with the audience. The brunch has many different options including mocktails, gluten free pancakes, and gluten free bread options. Park across the street in the Loring Parking ramp and bring your ticket in for validation from your server- this gets you $10 parking.

Such a welcoming and friendly space. Such heart and compassion. Whoever you are, they will accept you here. It's all good friendly vibes. Consistent numbers and different genres of music of all decades

Amazing halloween drag brunch at roxy's. The food was good, the environment was fun and inclusive. There were even kids there and the queens were all very welcoming. The food was good and very large portions. Go and support this fantastic place! They do charity drag bingo tuesdays and thursdays, so go and help a good cause!

Do you want a place to embarrass your friends on their birthday (or at least make them get on stage and do a shot)? Roxy's is your place. We went to their drag brunch for a birthday, and absolutely milked it for all it was worth (the friend got lots of free drinks and we had a great time heckling them for their behavior after). The performers were a delight, and the opening number, which is CUSTOM composed, was very fun. The drinks were appropriately strong and campy, and I would absolutely go again. They also take Venmo, if you are like me and haven't carried cash since 2010, so that's a plus.

Roxy's is great! I went for Drag Queen Charity Bingo and had a blast. Such an awesome concept for bingo. They raised over $1,000 for the charity! Cards are cash only. Bingo - 10/5 Monica West and Nina DiAngelo were fabulous hosts and bingo was so fun! I really enjoyed the unique rounds. Service - 4/5 Everyone was so kind! Though one extra server would have been nice. I felt bad for the one there, but she did great! Drinks - 4/5 I had the Minneapolitan and the Roxy's Old Fashioned. The old fashioned was great! The Minneapolitan was a little too sweet. Food - 4/5 I love that you can order breakfast in the evening! Though I opted for chicken wings and fries haha. The wings were good, though maybe a little too breaded. Fries were excellent! Parking can be a little tricky, as its only metered street parking.

An absolute blast. All of the Queens were amazing, kind, funny and talented. Would definitely return.

We had the best time! Can't recommend Roxy's Cabaret high enough! Monica and Nina are amazing! The drinks were great! On The Rocks (upstairs) was so fun! Nicollet Diner was also delicious the next morning! Can't wait to go back!!

Love love LOVED it here at Roxy's! My boyfriend and I came here last night and had such a fun experience with all the queens. He's never been to a drag show, and this was the perfect icebreaker. Nina DiAngelo, Monica West, Tasha Long and Maxie were all incredible entertainers and great performers. Looking forward to seeing BeBe Zahara Benet next time! We will be coming back with more singles in hand!!! My only piece of advice is that it gets VERY loud very quickly in such a small space to perform. Earplugs are a good idea if you are hearing sensitive. Food and drink were all reasonably priced and the leg glasses were ADORABLE. Servers were all very pleasant!

    Todays performers..

It happened to be a Marvin Gaye Tribute night, which was fine by me as I love me some some Marvin Gaye. If you are from the Bay Area, this place is like Yoshi's. I got there early and got the table my colleague picked was up stairs and a good view. Our server was great. There is a little coaster that is at the table that you can turn over for service or not if you don't want to be disturbed while watching the show. I ordered my food while waiting as I know there were two showing and I kind to eat or have most of my food eaten so I can enjoy the show. I started off with the jalapeno bacon wrapped poppers and the focaccia bread. the popper were not big and bulky and had a great smokey flavor to the bacon, which were probably put the on grill and not pan or oven cooked. I'm not a big bread person, but when I am out I'll usually eat and the foccacio was great and I needed to soak up the wine I was having with my food. For the main course I got the Shrimp and Grits, because it's a jazz club and southern joint. Oh my they were good. Just the right amount of spice to the gravy. The music was also great and the ambiance was really good too. I think I'll be heading to Yoshis a little more as it's been years that I've been to a venue like this. A chill way to end the conference week.

This time I came to see Cameron Wright - amazing voice/performer. We got here a bit too early but planned to eat dinner there so it worked out to get food and drinks before it got too busy. I will say the seating closer to the stage especially on the right side is poorly placed out. I got bumped by the waitress for the table next to ours so many times throughout the night - no apologies or anything. Also you sit across from your guest and the host kept leading people to blocked ends or areas they couldn't pass because there was no room. Seemed odd that they didn't know their own seating/layout. I got the veggie burger which was okay. They have coaster cards that you flip when you want service but our waitress disappeared for long periods throughout the night, the people next to us decided to go to the bar to try and order drinks. Their cards were flipped to be serviced all night and they hardly got service. The bill came about 10 or so minutes after the show ended which we were all waiting and ready to go at that point. Most times these places would bring you the bill well before it ends. When you book tickets here it looks like individual tables but it is community style (assigned) seating. Smaller venue so the sound travels well, which I love. Would definitely come back for a show... but definitely picking a different area to sit in.

Hell, the pretenders played there in 2023 as a warmup place to kick off their big tour and to get close to fans. How kick ass is that? The place holds 250 people. 250! Think about that. Nirvana also played that room before they blew up. The last amazing show I saw there was Melissa Carper in the late summer of 2024. Three piece band. A fiddle player, Melissa on a standup base and a dude strumming on a hollow body. It was one of those shows where the audience was there for the music and there was no chit chat. The music was beautiful and I was rocking ear plugs, even though they weren't really needed for that show. It was f'n beautiful. I can't believe I'm only associated with two photos (at the writing of this review) and I will be correcting that. Cross over between the Main Room is now kind of a pain in the ass as people typically don't do it and staff are a little in the muck but it is what it is. If you can see a show there, do it.

Mill City Nights isn't going to be the fanciest, nicest venue you've ever been to for a show. It also isn't going to be all historic like First Avenue. But it is a totally fine place to hang out in the dark and listen to some music. I did really dig the hard wood floor, which was worn in the best possible way. Fun for stomping around as you were dancing. We found the security procedure at the front door to be fine -- Carded us, patted us down not very thoroughly, took a peek into my purse and that was about it. Since we were downstairs, I also can't comment on the balcony situation, except to say that whoever spilled a beer on my head sucks. Is it my favorite venue in the Twin Cities? No way. Since Acme continues to book him, it's fair to assume they are comfortable associating their brand with that type of material. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last.

I've now seen a couple of different comedy shows at the Acme Comedy Club. I like how intimate the…read morevenue is, but some of the seats/rows are very close together. The lighting and sound has always been decent as well (not too loud or too bright). You don't get to pick your seat. It gets assigned after you pick up your ticket and check in. They will take in your preference on how close you want to be to the stage (remember those in the front couple row may be picked on lol). I haven't eaten at Acme before, but I've always gotten a drink. Servers walk around during the show, so there is no need to get up and go to the bar. Which is good, because you can't get served at the bar window inside of the venue. They have brought in some comedians I've heard of before and seek out to attend and others I've never heard of before, but went to anyways and I've enjoyed both equally.
