Stopped in here to grab a Guinness and watch an NFL preseason game. The place was very empty, small group playing pool in the back. The TV's are small and old, most of the taps were out of product. Pretty sure kitchen staff was drinking at the bar. Wasn't really engaged by anyone working, it was a love fest between employees, not sure if it was a shift change or what at 7:30pm on a Thursday. Place was dirty and there was some drunk local girl crying her eyes out next to me. How depressing. This place is a complete dump, wouldn't call it a dive, more of a divey gross dump. I honestly regret coming to this place.I left after 20 minutes.From the moment I walked in, smell nasty,the service was slow.The staff seemed uninterested,in particular the skinny bartender thats is inside in the first floor,she made the experience even worse. She had an unprofessional appearance and attitude that really brought down the entire vibe of the place that I didn't feel like going upstairs.On top of that, she was extremely rude not only with me,dismissive, and clearly didn't care about providing good service. like helping customers was a burden. The place itself didn't feel clean, and the overall atmosphere was normal. Cute spot when you're bar hopping. It's on the top floor, and it's really nice. There's a pool, a bar, and swings as bar stools. It's pretty pricey, and if you want to sit down anywhere you have to order something, but it was nice to stop by. read more

For additional reasons unrelated to this review, this place will always hold an unbelievably special place in my heart. But that surely wouldn't have been possible without the magic of dear Roxy's herself. I can only speak to the rooftop bar, and what I can say about it, is that it's perfection. Fantastic lighting, swings around the bar you can actually hang out on, and multiple bartenders who make sure you're always taken care of. I can't say enough good things about the staff and service. There's also a pool up there, adding a sweet day-club vibe, plus a DJ playing absolute bangers all night (and day). Great for dancing, but maybe a little loud if that's not what you're into. I loved it so much I went back on Sunday and it was just as good in the daylight. Tried the breakfast menu--avocado toast and a spicy skillet hash--both fresh and flavorful, and exactly what I needed. Roxy's has the kind of energy that makes great memories happen. Rooftop area is so festive. Makes for a great Sunday funday. There is a live dj and plenty of fun seating option such as swinging couch seat and swing set individual seats at the bar. Very spacious and additional seating around the pool and additional upstairs area. Great option on weekends and spring breakers. Public parking. Actual bar is downstairs. I am obsessed with the Pub cheesesteak here! It has a shamrock stamp next to the name for "popular pub items" and it definitely gets my stamp of approval for the best cheesesteak around. Roxys Rooftop Bar was completely redone and let me tell you, new and improved! The remodifications are beautiful. They have completely upgraded it with a pool, much more space and my favorite part was the swinging chairs at the bar. The only thing I can complain about is the drinks are very pricey. This was my first time here and I had a great experience. The bartender was professional, friendly and she offered terrific recommendations. The menu has quite an assortment of options. They had extremely reasonable daily specials. All under $15 I believe. I tried the chicken enchiladas. It came with three fully packed with chicken. They recently changed the rooftop... well let's just say the customer service up there is AWFUL!!! They want a Miami vibe up there, well they got it.. overpriced drinks and rude bar staff. Sad part is it's the same owner as the downstairs, which is awesome... the rooftop being pretty and all with the pool needs an overhaul. I've been in Florida my entire life. Obviously familiar and loved Roxy's but haven't been back in a while (since rooftop reopened) and was super excited to get to see what was done. Attempted to go with my husband and friends and was denied entry due to dress code- "no white tee shirt." While explaining this to us, 3 people who happened to be white walked out wearing white tee shirts. (All were males, since apparently the rule doesn't apply to women). Comply with dress code unless you're white apparently. Good idea to skip here next time and go to Banko or literally anywhere else. read more

For being "bar food" with an Irish blend, this place has good food. They had their own unique sauces and flavors to regular dishes that separates the food from the regular bar food you typically order. Definitely recommend the loaded fries and wings. read more

I wish I could give Roxy's a higher rating. It's a great atmosphere, the bar staff is really cool, and they have a great darts setup. But the beer. The beer is stale, flat, and frankly gross. As for ambiance, if you enjoy sitting around a bunch of locals, who hide their vape to inhale it inside & whose most used word starts with an F, then this is your place. Nice place to hear music and enjoy an outdoor breeze! I have to say, Alex the door guy was exceptionality kind and very respectful compared to a lot of bars in the area. With that being said, Anthony the bar back or "security/power trip" might be one of the angriest, rudest men I've ever encountered in WPB. There are two parts comprising of Roxy's - one is the Irish-styled pub on the street level and the other is Roxy's Rooftop Bar that has views overlooking Clematis, Downtown West Palm and the intercostal with Singer Island to the east. The Irish pub part of Roxy's can be quite a lively place even with only a few people in it. There's always some sports game playing on the TVs and big screen, always beer or mixed drinks being poured. Fun place to go with a bunch of friends and knock a few back for sure, and get some wings -- the latter are very good. The rooftop... eh, not so much. Apart from the view outside overlooking Downtown, the drinks aren't anything to shout home about, pricey, bartenders are so so when it comes to service. It's one of those places where if you can get up there before the crowds come you can enter at no charge, otherwise, you're paying at least 10 quid if not more. Overall, if you're going to go to Roxy's, stay in the pub. Even if it's overcrowded, you're not being overcharged. read more

NEVER GO TO THIS BAR For starters all of there staff is very rude. I recently went with a group of 5 people. The bouncer had us go upstairs ( he didn't ID us we are 25 years old) then we Walked 5 flights of stairs to be told the bar was cash only...... The bouncer for starters should have told us before waking up 5 flights of stairs that it was cash only. The bouncer cursed me out. In addition the bartender (older blonde lady) notified me that "everyone has cash on them. And if we don't have cash to leave" I have never been more disrespected. I was excited to show my friends this bar and now I will never recommend it. I will make sure to tell everyone I know never to go here. Work on your hospitality.
