So I love this place and the bartender George. I had the best old fashioned and when I asked him what he used, he explained he makes his own simple syrup and even try to give me the recipe. I told him there was no way I was going to try that at home and I would much rather simply come back and order some drinks from him. The food was incredibly tasty. The only thing I would suggest for the Thai sweet chili fries is to do the sauce on the side. They were super delicious for the first 10 or 20 minutes, but as we were still picking on them they got soggy and I don't think they would have been great in the air fryer if we had tried to take them home. The Southwest chicken was to die for, and the coconut shrimp appetizer was outstanding. Everything is very tasty. They have their own parking lot and the bathrooms are single occupancy, so you can use either gender if you really need to. It is on the small side with a few tables and about a dozen or more bar seats, but sometimes it's slow getting service because the bartenders are also the wait staff and food runners and busers... This is definitely a more chill place to be, I would not go if you are in a rush. There is a good group of locals that frequent here. There is an all-day happy hour on Thursdays, and every other day it's 4:00 to 7:00.

What a fun hidden gem in Lake Park! Great food and amazing service from George! He had a great knowledge of the menu and all of the specials. Food was really delicious and I recommend the Happy Hour from 4-7 every day where you can try a variety of items. We tried the Cuban egg rolls and they were so so good!!! Everything was great and happy hour prices made everything super affordable!!! Get this place on the map! It's amazing!!!

Not gonna lie, Locale is a bit of a hike, but I've driven further for good food, and this food is damn good. Worth the tr - First, you gotta be looking for the place to find it, tucked away on the end of a non-descript shopping center that also has a couple cute little curio/vintage/antique shops, and a brewery if you're looking for something to do after you eat. - You won't need to go to the brewery though because this place has a pretty great adult beverage menu, with rotating craft beers and a full liquor bar too. - It's a gastro pub. And if you don't know what that means, they are gonna take something you like, take it apart, and then rebuild it into something entirely different that you still like because it reminds you of the original thing. Got it? Good. Example : Cuban Egg Rolls. Take all the insides out of a Cuban sandwich, and wrap it in a wonton, then deep fry it. That look on your face was on mine too, but trust me this one is a must! - Our server knew the menu pretty well and was able to help us figure out some things. Trust him when he says the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich is spicy!! Who - They literally have Happy Hour every single day and ALL DAY on Thursdays and Sundays!

I came here to say with a couple of co-workers while up in the WPB area. We came and just caught the tail end of happy hour. I was served a deliciously cold beer and we ordered the Cuban egg rolls and the nachos. The server came back and informed us there were no nachos so we picked the Thai fries as a substitute. I did not try the egg rolls but my coworkers were not super enthusiastic about them. The Thai chili fries were yummy. My coworkers ordered burgers- which both came with piles of fries. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. My sandwich had great flavor, seasoned well and juicy. They didn't have any other sides at the time so I had fries as well. It was alot of fries. They had bingo going which was cool and the server was nice. There was a good crowd for the bingo and it was fun to sit at the table and play. I am sure when they are not turning over the menu this place must be great, so I will give it another try in the future.

Decided to give this place a try since the last time I had gone it was a different name and owners. The service was fantastic! Loved that they supported local Florida breweries and multiple choices from sours to IPA. We ordered the wings which were fantastic perfectly cooked and had a great flavor. Mac and Cheese with the bacon and pulled pork was a good size and overall good however lacked in some seasoning in the cheese sauce Pulled Pork and fig flatbread- the fig and pork mixed great together but was a bit dry.

Well, I think I found my new favorite local spot last night! I have been wanting to go for the infused mocktails and the reviews on the food here were so great I had to check it out. I will say I am shocked it was not busier on a Thursday night. The staff and owners are the most incredible people, Leia, who runs the bar and waits tables not only has amazing customer service, she's a great human! The owners and chef, whom I met, are Jamaican and made me feel like I was in a spot right back in Turks where I used to live. Made me and my friends feel like family! The bar seemed to have local regulars in the seats. The drinks were amazing and the food was incredible! I also had a burger, which they grind the meat fresh in house, they made it for me in a lettuce wrap and it was so delicious! Fries were crispy and seasoned well, coconut shrimp were fantastic, I also had a side Caesar salad and you could tell the dressing wasn't from a bottle. The chef offered us samples of his Jerk wings he's putting on the menu, FIRE!!!! I can't wait to go back and my husband is from the islands so he's going to love to hang here, we may even stop for a beer tonight. Thanks for the amazing night!

What a perfect local hang out truly. Without fuss but with great food, good drinks, and cool bartenders to take care of you. Ask em about upstairs too but might need a password. But back to the FOOD see the pics to see what it's about. Got the drunken Mac and cheese, hangover burger, KFC, and Rubus Cube cocktail. KFC chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy on outside and juicy chicken on inside. Mac and cheese was super cheesy and creamy. Pro tip to save that cheese for your fries. Fries a bit salty but I'd say that's a quality most people are looking more for. Put this place on your list, they deserve it!

Let's see...we started with the Mary Had a little ( lamb chops and they were melt in your mouth tender grilled perfectly, and the corn polenta was very complimentary to the dish. We then had the Beef and chicken tacos which were also amazing! The pickled cabbage was a different twist but it worked. We then had the beef ribs and the BLTP, first the ribs were tender, juicy and just crusty enough to hold the delicious chimichurri that I wanted to lick off the plate. The BLTP was good too, and the avocado aioli was excellent. Long story short, you need to check this out. It's local; the food is fantastic, the owner is friendly, and there is a full bar. Five stars!

Locale gastropub and test kitchen was the best restaurant to open in lake park... during the pandemic in 2020. The food menu changes a bit every now and then which keeps it interesting. They try to meet all needs were meaty options, vegan and gluten free. They create many specialty drinks too and have a great selection of beer. Sunday brunch is also delicious!

Honest take: the food and service can sometimes be hit or miss, and there is a lot of staff turnover. For example, The double burger is kind of unnecessary. It is two thick patties just piled on top of each other, and honestly, just make one really good burger and call it a day or give me a double smash burger. If you put the right toppings on it, you do not need two. It sounds good in theory but it just is not. You usually can't go wrong with a fish sandwich or entrée though. But what I really want to highlight now is that they are finally offering happy hour, something they have never done before, and it is a huge benefit to the locals who are here all summer long supporting this venue. The $10 bites are genuinely nice options, including peel and eat shrimp, fish dip, two sliders, beef barbacoa tacos, quesadillas, and tempura green beans. And the $8 margaritas and lychee martinis are something to write home about. Happy hour under the tiki bar has never been better now that there are specials.

The draw was knowing that no matter what you ordered, the fries were going to be great. That was the Saturday afternoon promise after a paddle to Peanut Island. Not anymore. The fries have been swapped for generic frozen ones that taste worse than fast food, and honestly, worse than what you'd get at a $6 burger joint. They are unseasoned & like plastic.... When you're paying $22+ for a sandwich, the fries used to be the reason you kept coming back. Right now they're the reason people are second guessing coming in the first place....As a local and as a loyal patron, thats sad & unfortunate. There are some items on the menu that have remained reasonable like the French dip sandwich for $19, but the last time I got it, the quantity of meat felt reduced by a third so whether they reduced the prices or the quantity, they have made some major changes in the last month or two. The pricing changes make it sting even more. The grouper bites, once a happy hour favorite at $8.99, are now on the main menu at $18.99. Side salads went from $11.99 to $15.99, and add a protein and you're suddenly paying $26-$34 for what is still, technically, a side salad. Meanwhile Ocean Avenue just opened down the street with a scratch kitchen, fresh cut fries, and house made juices, quietly raising the bar for the whole island. Johnny Longboats used to be our automatic answer for where to go after a beach day. Right now it's a hard sell, and it all started with the fries.
