New owners took for over a year ago with a new menu. I like the changes as the old menu was more for an eclectic eater in my opinion. Jay our server and the bartender of the night was great. She chatted with us and checked in often. We went in on a Thursday night, we were the only ones there for about two hours. The buffalo Mac and cheese is on point. Its serving size is shareable, had the perfect blend of hot (spice), cheese and pasta. The chicken wings are also good. The garlic Parmesan had a salty taste but the buffalo one's very tasty. A Once-Hidden Gem Now Fading Fast I had been a loyal fan of this place for a while -- it was a hidden gem that offered great food, a cozy atmosphere, and staff that made you feel like you were remembered and a "usual". Staff before not only remembered your face, but your drink of choice or previous conversations had. It was the kind of place you could recommend to friends, knowing they'd have a good time and leave wanting to come back. Sadly, after my recent visit, it's clear that things have taken a turn for the worse. First off, the atmosphere has completely shifted and no longer feels neighborly. The warm, welcoming vibe that once greeted you at the door now feels cold and uninviting as if you're interrupting something. The staff, once friendly and attentive, seem either disinterested or overwhelmed. I'm not sure if it's management or a change in staffing, but the service was slow, and there was a strong sense that the heart of the place has been completely changed. As for the food, it's such a disappointment. The flavors that used to stand out have become bland and lifeless. The dishes that were once unique or had a memorable twist now feel generic and uninspired. It's as though the kitchen is simply going through the motions rather than putting thought into the menu. The burgers used to be something different, but now has fallen short to a drive-thru burger. Even the drinks, once a highlight of the evening, now feel watered down and bartenders not trained in the expertise of draft beers. Why am I paying full price for half of a beer? More foam than lager? Or mixed drinks that are nothing like they should be. Also, the music, has absolutely no direction. Set the tone of what you would like your customers to enjoy. If you're looking to bring in a crowd, set the tone of the clientele you'd like in your establishment- everything is all over the place and unenjoyable. It's frustrating because this place had so much potential. The location is still great, but it's certainly not the same. I wanted to love it as much as I did in the past, but after this last visit, I'm not sure it's worth the trip anymore and certainly not the overpriced items. I'm hoping they can turn things around, but for now, I can't recommend it like I once did. There's nothing worse than watching a place with so much promise fade into mediocrity. So if management sees this- please readjust your mindset and give Lake Park a true gem. read more

So I love this place and the bartender George. I had the best old fashioned and when I asked him what he used, he explained he makes his own simple syrup and even try to give me the recipe. I told him there was no way I was going to try that at home and I would much rather simply come back and order some drinks from him. The food was incredibly tasty. The only thing I would suggest for the Thai sweet chili fries is to do the sauce on the side. They were super delicious for the first 10 or 20 minutes, but as we were still picking on them they got soggy and I don't think they would have been great in the air fryer if we had tried to take them home. The Southwest chicken was to die for, and the coconut shrimp appetizer was outstanding. Everything is very tasty. They have their own parking lot and the bathrooms are single occupancy, so you can use either gender if you really need to. It is on the small side with a few tables and about a dozen or more bar seats, but sometimes it's slow getting service because the bartenders are also the wait staff and food runners and busers... This is definitely a more chill place to be, I would not go if you are in a rush. There is a good group of locals that frequent here. There is an all-day happy hour on Thursdays, and every other day it's 4:00 to 7:00. read more

Not gonna lie, Locale is a bit of a hike, but I've driven further for good food, and this food is damn good. Worth the tr - First, you gotta be looking for the place to find it, tucked away on the end of a non-descript shopping center that also has a couple cute little curio/vintage/antique shops, and a brewery if you're looking for something to do after you eat. - You won't need to go to the brewery though because this place has a pretty great adult beverage menu, with rotating craft beers and a full liquor bar too. - It's a gastro pub. And if you don't know what that means, they are gonna take something you like, take it apart, and then rebuild it into something entirely different that you still like because it reminds you of the original thing. Got it? Good. Example : Cuban Egg Rolls. Take all the insides out of a Cuban sandwich, and wrap it in a wonton, then deep fry it. That look on your face was on mine too, but trust me this one is a must! - Our server knew the menu pretty well and was able to help us figure out some things. I came here to say with a couple of co-workers while up in the WPB area. We came and just caught the tail end of happy hour. I was served a deliciously cold beer and we ordered the Cuban egg rolls and the nachos. The server came back and informed us there were no nachos so we picked the Thai fries as a substitute. I did not try the egg rolls but my coworkers were not super enthusiastic about them. The Thai chili fries were yummy. My coworkers ordered burgers- which both came with piles of fries. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. My sandwich had great flavor, seasoned well and juicy. They didn't have any other sides at the time so I had fries as well. It was alot of fries. They had bingo going which was cool and the server was nice. There was a good crowd for the bingo and it was fun to sit at the table and play. It was time to spread out to somewhere new for us. I was thinking burger so to Yelp I went. Hmmm this looks good. I know the area which is always in the process of being redone. Reservations check and off we went. The plaza was ok and the restaurant was just as advertised. It looks like a local hangout. We were promptly greeted and told to sit anywhere. College football on so facing one of the TVs worked. The server Flo followed and was friendly and great. We tried two Happy Hour apps (Saturday night until 7) Thai chili fries and coconut shrimp. Well, I think I found my new favorite local spot last night! I have been wanting to go for the infused mocktails and the reviews on the food here were so great I had to check it out. I will say I am shocked it was not busier on a Thursday night. The staff and owners are the most incredible people, Leia, who runs the bar and waits tables not only has amazing customer service, she's a great human! The owners and chef, whom I met, are Jamaican and made me feel like I was in a spot right back in Turks where I used to live. Made me and my friends feel like family! The bar seemed to have local regulars in the seats. The drinks were amazing and the food was incredible! I also had a burger, which they grind the meat fresh in house, they made it for me in a lettuce wrap and it was so delicious! Fries were crispy and seasoned well, coconut shrimp were fantastic, I also had a side Caesar salad and you could tell the dressing wasn't from a bottle. The chef offered us samples of his Jerk wings he's putting on the menu, FIRE!!!! Let's see...we started with the Mary Had a little ( lamb chops and they were melt in your mouth tender grilled perfectly, and the corn polenta was very complimentary to the dish. We then had the Beef and chicken tacos which were also amazing! The pickled cabbage was a different twist but it worked. We then had the beef ribs and the BLTP, first the ribs were tender, juicy and just crusty enough to hold the delicious chimichurri that I wanted to lick off the plate. The BLTP was good too, and the avocado aioli was excellent. Long story short, you need to check this out. It's local; the food is fantastic, the owner is friendly, and there is a full bar. The food here is delicious. Portion size are huge and grat presentation. My husband and I dined here this evening. He had the hamburger, which was made perfectly per his request. The spices added to the burger enhanced the beef flavor. He was extremely pleased with it. I ordered the Rueben Sandwich. It was NYC huge! Piled high with tender, delicious corned beef and house made sauerkraut which tasted fresh and balanced. Mine came with dinner cut fries which were super-sized. I would like them a little more crispy but given the cut on these fries might not be possible. The waiter, George was pleasant, professional and proud of the Chef's creations. Rightfully so! Do yourself a favor and go here! The food is phenomenal, the bartender has mad skills and the craft beer selection has something for everyone. Bryan was our bartender and he was super-attentive without being pushy, and you can tell he knows what he's doing behind a bar. We ordered the meatball appetizer and you could tell from the first bite that they were homemade. They were wonderful. Then we ordered a couple different tacos (chicken and birria (beef)) and they were the best tacos I've ever eaten. Really. The vibe in the place is very laid back and welcoming. This place is a hidden gem. Our first time here was Thursday- they had live music (which was amazing) & all day happy hour. The food was delicious. Went there tonight, Thursday, which just happened to be their all day happy hour. Had the Old Fashions for 6 ea, and were great. Anthony was the bartender/ server for us, since we sat at the bar.
