First of all, I have to say I'm very very particular. I interviewed/researched the micro blading process 2 years before I decided to have Belma do mine. I work in healthcare and hygiene and sterility is so important to me when having services that require so. I've never had a tattoo, microblading or anything that invasive so I was super nervous. Once I met with Belma before scheduling I was put at ease. I read her reviews, saw before and after pics, texted her questions and felt really comfortable when walking in. I refrained from alcohol and caffeine before the appointment to help decrease bleeding and help with healing. I'm so glad I did! I had minimal bleeding and swelling. Fast forward through the 3 hour appointment. Trust me, she takes her time with shaping and drawing etc. that day, Dawn was there and helped with shaping before the blading and they worked/talked together to get the perfect shape. Belma is a perfectionist but super sweet too as is Dawn. The salon felt very cozy, classy, clean and overall relaxed. I left the salon thinking "OMG they're so dark!" But Belma warned me- they' will lighten-trust the process!! Belma checked on me the next morning and even asked for a pic. Belma also told me to text her anytime with any questions ever. I just followed the post op instructions to the T and sent her healing pics along the way. But the time my touch up appointment my brows had faded a bit like she said. I was now looking forward to the touch up and a little darkening. :) It's now been 5 months since my initial visit and things are all healed (have been) and faded into a natural looking brow. I get compliments all the time! If you're nervous about having a procedure on your face but wanting to have a top notch artist to create the perfect brows- go see Belma. Belma is amazing. I went to Belma because I was interested in getting Phi Brows and needed a previous microblading job redone. Although I liked the shape from the last time I got microbladed, my eyebrows started fading and turning red. By the time I came to Belma, I looked like I got punched in the face. I don't normally write reviews unless I have received service above and beyond my expectations and the Royal Brows Studio owner, Belma, did just that! I still can not believe these are not the brows I was born with. There is no way I could ask for more attractive and perfect brows. Going to Belma was absolutely THE BEST thing I have done beauty-wise for myself ever! My brows were waxed for the first time in my life at age 20 by Gene Jaurez studios. That wax back in '94 forever ruined the growth pattern for my brows. I was missing my tail ends and the front part towards the nose grew in sparsely to the point of my novice self trying to tweeze the strays and actually making me look more "wolfish" than pretty. In desperation I started to draw my brows in with a brush and brown eyeshadow for the next 26 years! It was so bad, I would draw them in at night before going to sleep in fear of some emergency happening out of the blue and the paramedics coming over to help but failing epically as they would die laughing at my lack of brow hair before being able to help me. This nightmare of wasting almost 15 minutes every morning just to take my daughter to school and again at night before sleeping was starting to ruin my ego since there were many times I hugged friends and would see my brow transferred onto their sleeves! The worse was at clubs as I could not fix my brows good enough with the low lighting and failed sobriety. When I heard about Belma through a friend, I was wary as I have never had a friend who tried micro blading and thought that it would hurt too much to be worth the beauty. Oh was I wrong! When I first met Belma, I have to admit, I was blown away by her elegant and exquisite beauty. She greeted me with the sweetest smile and welcoming touch. Belma is as captivating as she is down-to-earth. Her studio is FAR beyond what I would expect from a brow place. Pretty and plush does not do the description justice but she has the most glamorous studio I have ever seen. You can tell she paid extreme attention to each personalized detail. The strokes she used were so gentle that it felt like a kitten lightly scratching my brows. A lot less pain than I imagined. My brows created the gorgeous canvas I always dreamed of but never thought existed. She is a stunning genius with her epic skills. My gratitude towards her will never end as I have so much more confidence now than I ever have in over 20 years! I made the decision to microblade my eyebrows with Belma after extensive research. I had them microbladed a while back in Germany and I was not happy with the results. Throughout the process, she made me feel comfortable, and checked in on my pain level frequently (she uses a great numbing cream, so I stayed relatively pain free). She also texted me a couple of days into the healing process to see how I was doing, which I thought was a nice touch. I waited until my brows were completely finished and healed before writing this review, to see how I felt about them. I LOVE them! When considering getting my brows microbladed, I was worried about the color. I have been filling in my brows with pencil for years, and it has been so hard to find a brow pencil that is a cool toned brown to match my natural color. Half the time, they look orangey on me. Fantastic experience in a refreshingly warm environment! I found Belma via a Facebook post; after reading reviews across various sites, I decided to make an appointment. She was responsive and got me in sooner than I'd expected. Belma's studio is amazing, beautifully decorated and truly fitting of the name. The treatment bed was warm, she offered music of my choice, and made me feel totally at home. Start to finish, she included all of the fine detail quality touches! I've had my brows tattooed twice before but it'd been years and they'd faded quite a bit. The prior two artists had done one brow slightly higher than the other (as my brows, are naturally) and I was hoping that since microblading actually involves measurements, they could be evened out and thickened up. In the past, after tattooing, some pigment has peeled completely off, along with the scabs. Because of skin trauma/ scarring (or sun damage as I have some loss of melanin around my eye area) my brows didn't take all of the microblading so she did some microshading as well. Overall, much more even look and after a few days, I'm not peeling yet so I think this will take better but time will tell. Belma seemed well educated in her industry and took time to explain the pigments, products, and how to best care for my finished brows. I think the aftercare product, she provided with the service, is better than the Aquaphor I've used in the past.
