Todays experience was plain illegal. I ordered 2 drinks , per the menu on the wall behindthe counter. The female serverl rang me up, $13 and change. I wasnt paying attention , but then i looked at the menu. My drinks totalled $8 plus tax. I then politely asked the server (Red curly hair) why i paid $13 and i asked her the price was the coffee. Her answer was simply the price of my coffee was different to those posted on the wall. Thats illegal. Then i asked for a receipt, she refused to give me a receipt. Said she could not give me a receipt. I asked twice. Next i then asked what price she charged me for coffee. Again she flat refused to disclose the prices of the drinks that were served. I was charged about $4 above the prices disclosed on the wall. My conlusion is the server basically charged more than the displayed price and put the additional dollars in her pocket. Her avasive responses made it plain that she was not intending to be accountable. When you enter this place BEFORE YOU PAY make sure you are not being scammed. My coffee was the worst, weak, taseless. Her behaviour was plain illegal. Refused to give me a receipt and refused to disclose the price of the coffee i purchased. Don't come here on a Saturday at 6am! I can't speak for the weekdays but I just went at 6am after the gym and they were not open yet (google and yelp says they are suppose to be open at 6am). It was my first time here and they have frequent discounts offered that you can find. I had a coupon for a BOGO thru ValPak that I found on my employee's discount site, but they also offer 20% off for coffee if you catch it. It is a cute establishment and feels like you walked into a garage. There are a few tables and I find that this could be a good spot to study or work with some outlets stationed by the high top tables. The employees are nice and I ordered cold brew coffee with sugar-free syrups for each cold brew. I got one drink with SF salted caramel and the other with SF Irish cream and both with a tint of soy milk. They have at least 5 SF options. I actually enjoyed both of them and happy to have SF options to tailor my needs as a diabetic. It can be difficult with limited choices in selection, especially with someone who is tired of having bland coffee. Service is quick and friendly. The employees are quick and work hard. We came on a day that it was $2 for all 16 oz drinks. The drive thru line was long but we watched it disappear. We ordered inside and there was a pleasant atmosphere. There were high top tables, a bar along the side of a wall, a huge conference type table and a couch with a low table. This is located in a huge strip mall with plenty of free parking. We ordered through the drive thru, but they do have an inside lobby. We tried to order one of their col energy drinks, but they were out of it. So, we tried to order an iced matcha latte, but they were out of that, too. It started out as a great place to work and meet up with clients but now when I go it's not as nice. This last time I went, I set up in the corner by the window like I always do but when I put my things down on the table, there was so much dust on the surface as if it hadn't even been wiped in weeks. Ordered up a medium sized coffee, ( drip coffee / basic cup they didn't offer a dark roast or light roast choice) The coffee they were pouring was a medium roast - (I prefer dark) but I needed a cup & didn't want to go to an expresso - I was truly surprised on how delicious the coffee was - asking for a touch of soy milk - it's was a really good cup. RCR - offers all the different coffee drinks: Lattes & Expresso - Iced Coffees - Chi Teas - Energy Specialties too. They also have a kids drink menu (coco, shakes, juice) In their favorites menu the coffees have catchy names, Knight, Royal, Irish ect... Inside you can buy a bag for home. I didn't have time to check that out since I did he drive-thru. Note: Owner/Company is from Oregon, coffees are high quality sourced from different locations thought out the world- only the highest grade coffee is served. They also give back to the community as a part of Kids Unlimited - For every pound of coffee sold, Royal donates a meal to a child in need- that's very cool. The best coffee on this side of the universe! I live in Los Angeles and I've traveled a lot of places that's known for their great coffee. From San Luis Obispo to the corner of Beverly Blvd. and Kings street in LA where I believe King's Road Cafe has the best coffee. It has the taste and aroma of a fully bodied but very strong cup of joe. Why Royal Coffee? It started from my first sip while having brunch at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, California. I had to ask the server what brand of coffee do they serve and at first she doesn't know but kind enough to attend to my question. Few minutes later, the manager stopped by and shared to me that it's Royal Cup Coffee. From that day on, I placed an order online (no Royal coffee in Los Angeles) and my life was changed - more content in a very happy, joyful way. I visited my brother in Las Vegas this just passed weekend (02/18 - 02/21/2022). Not knowing the area pretty well and wazed my ways around; my eyes were roaming for coffee. I was on Blue Diamond when I saw Dutch Bros. - merged in the middle and made a U-turn and went behind a long line of cars and SUVs. Got the coffee - not impressed. It was okay and flabbergasted what's the hype of the long line of vehicles? Anyway, on my way again but this time I'm on Rainbow then I saw - big lion symbol and I kid you not I almost rear ended the truck in front of me. In my head, was that Royal Cup? During the Covid-19 pandemic, the majority of Las Vegas mom and pop with small chain coffee shops came through by providing the service of an upbeat place to gather indoors. During the pademic these coffee shops stimulated my mental health as much as their caffeinated beverages stimulated my stamina. The Rainbow Road Royal Coffee was one of those places. Royal Coffee is new to the Las Vegas landscape. The Covid-19 shutdown arrived in Las Vegas before Royal Coffee did. It was formerly Black Rock Coffee. Recently this location with the two other Las Vegas ones replaced Black Rock. This location is off the southbound side of Rainbow Road between Warm Springs and Robindale. It is in a very busy area that is a short walk to the tranquility of Nevada Trails Park and its contiguous walking trail. It is so close that by the time you reached the picnic tables at Nevada Trails Park the Coffee would still be hot. Despite the fact that Royal Coffee is a small chain in Vegas that carries a mom and pop vibe inside, outside it looks like a fast food restaurant with the drive thru and patio tables. Inside it has a relaxing vibe. The seating includes tables and a deep cushion sofa with a royal lion pillow. When I walked inside the friendly Barista greeted me. She enthusiastically accepted my Yelp 20% off check-in offer that brought my regular cup of coffee to under $2. With the same enthusiasm she told me the WiFi password. Regardless that their menu includes a sundry of delicious drinks and pastries, I opted for a regular cup of hot coffee. It was good. Even better was the atmosphere. I am a fan of cute logos, mascots, and pictures. So much to the point of sharing it in my recent review of Founders. The Royal Coffee Lion (I don't know it's name) is all over the shop with its image adorned on the cold beverages, the couch pillow, a picture, and other spots. The Royal Coffee Lion adds to the upbeat vibe. Writing this at the one year anniversary of Covid-19 shutting down Las Vegas, I do not take for granted being able to hang out in a coffee shop while sipping a quality caffeinated beverage. Royal Coffee did this while following social distancing protocol in a clean environment. For that I am grateful to establishments such as Royal Coffee. I am grateful to the point of giving it a royal four stars. read more

Royal Coffee used to be Black Rock. I believe they broke off from the franchise but their menu and prices are the same. I actually don't normally get coffee very often but when I do, I actually prefer the coffee here at Royal Coffee. I've had their: Royal (white caramel mocha) Knight (hazelnut mocha) Noble (salted caramel mocha) Irish (irish cream breve) I honestly really like their coffee. It has a wonderful taste to it -- it's not too bitter and it's not acidic. It is really smooth. I always get the iced version of the coffee though and never the blended. My favorite is the Irish :) The service is always friendly. They have a rewards system too! I think you get a free drink after you get 10 drinks. Right now, you get 20% off with the Yelp check in. My only gripe about Royal Coffee is that they don't accept Samsung Pay or that's what we've been told. read more

I used to stop by this location when it used to be Black Rock whenever I was on this side of town. I've been to Royal Coffee Roasting twice the past week and I see more future visits... Service: My visits have all been drive through and it's been great. The crew moves the car line quickly. Everyone I've been in contact with has been pleasant and upbeat at the window. There are some friendly peeps that work at Royall Coffee Roasting. Blended Noble: Salted Caramel Mocha Blended Knight: Hazelnut Mocha Both blended drinks that I've tried have been tasty and refreshing. These drinks were extra, flavorful but not overwhelmingly sweet. There are times when you want just coffee. Then there are other times when you want a blended coffee creation. And when yours truly wants the latter, Royal gets the job done plus plus plus. That is not to say their "just coffee" isn't fine, but those other options not only have the requisite caffeine I need, they also have an added quantum factor of fun (aka sugar). I'm particularly a fan of the blended Knight - mocha with hints of hazelnut really hits the spot and gives me that extra oomph I sometimes need. Wife will order an Americano. Solid. The girl got the mango smoothie this time. And when I asked her how was it, she responded, ehh. I know that doesn't sound all that reassuring, but considering how picky she is, that "ehh" of hers is like four stars. Moreover, I'm most appreciative they even offer a kids' menu since I wanna include my girl. On a side note, we usually use the drive-thru to get our drinks, but the inside is a pretty nice space to sip on your drink while you kick it for a minute and check your phone, read a book, escape the heat, or whatevers. And speaking of chill, the folks working there are just that. They're not shy about recommending drinks, if the current specials are worth a try, and kind enough to remind me when I have enough points to get a free drink. For over a year and a half we come at minimum, 5 days a week and it was so fun and filled with energy. Now all my favorite workers apparently got fired or are just leaving. The hours don't work for me as I like coming around 5-8 pm, now they decided it's a good idea to cut the hours down and close at 2pm. Such a damn shame and it makes me upset how my OG employees were and are being treated. I guess they just want their business to take a dump and go under? Well once all my OG workers leave I may just never return here again as the new hires are just taught to say "Fuck it" and make a shit drink. Treat your employees right and your business will thrive. The baristas have always been so nice and so quick to fix an issue, Tyler the district manager did a great job hiring, me and him are besties too lol!
