I initially stopped here to get gas (the provide BP at this location) and then I wanted to go inside to get a drink and a snack to wind down my night. After going inside it felt a little to small for my liking. I had to reroute myself several times just to look at items because of the people in here. I will give them this, it is nice and bright in the store and everything seemed organized and in place. I found my items and went to pay. The two employees working made it feel like anyone that was in the store was interrupting them and we should have just left without anything in our hands. It took a while be be rung up as the guy was having a full on conversation and slowly processing the transaction. What really bothered me was that even after you paid, it felt like they were waiting to accuse you of stealing something. My friends that came with me had already paid and were waiting there for me to finish. As I was going through my transaction they kept looking at my friends, who had already paid, like they wanted to accuse them so badly of stealing what they just paid for. Once I finished my transaction we headed outside and were on our way.

Omg!! I'm amazed by the how this location always has to have at least one ignorant jackass on the staff. The store is okay but the semiliterate, dirty wig wearing ghetto queen has got serious issues. First the fact that she is extremely challenged (I like that they hire someone challenged. -- but one who can't count, let alone count change, shouldn't be on the register). 2. Her dirty, fake, unnaturally long hair not tied up in a FOOD store is GROSS and probably a health code violation.3. Her ability to become an uncouth, yelling, ratchet B in under 2 seconds is crazy especially when it's caused by her cognitive challenges. Avoid this location whenever she is present because her angry, belligerent disposition makes me think she would be more than willing to become physical with someone. read more

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. Manager, Alice, is very disrespectful and rude. She calls the neighborhood kids "ghetto" names, but sit on side the store and smokes marijuana, yes saw it for myself! And no one can complain to corporate because she is sleeping with her boss , Brandon. I could go on and on, but they are horrible! Night shift staff are the only ones courteous and kind! read more

Their Pharmacy team is amazing from pharmacist assistant manager, Miss Theresa Theresa, pharmacist manager, Mr. Sesay, Miss Melody, Pharmacy staffer Miss Sade, Pharmacy staffer. The ambience of this store is amazing. I love the fact that everyone is so friendly even if you walk in the Giant and don't know anyone they are all here to help. They even donate their food to any of the homeless who are in need of food that come in the store and sometimes can solicit customers for a dollar or something. Usually one of the Customer Service people will take that homeless person over to the side and bring them a hot meal and or allow them to get maybe three items that they need and that Giant Stafford will pay for it so that they can have something to drink and something to eat. I think that that is beautiful. This Giant is completely is completely about kindness, compassion, and Community. This is my favorite giant food store and I love the fact that they're always supporting some charity Saint Jude American Heart Association feed the Hungary donating to their local food pantries helping kids with school supplies. I love that they have a raffle every school year beginning of the school year. I have one maybe 3 raffles and I donated all of the materials back to the Giant because I no longer have a child who's in school he's now at university so when one year one a basket full of school supplies which I donate it right back to the Giant the following year I want Thanksgiving all turkey Thanksgiving box dinner which I donated it back to the Giant because I didn't need it and then one raffle I won tickets to see the Orioles play baseball and I donated those tickets back to the Giant and they could give them to whomever they want. I told them the 251st person that walked through the store could have those tickets and they did that and I am assuming that they enjoyed themselves at the game. I don't know. I did not go. I just love this Giant kindness Community compassion.

Food Lion has some good deals on shelf stable or what I often call pantry items. My sister always notes how good their baking aisle is. The produce section is awful and I am still haunted by their unsanitary and unsafe meat practices from the early 1990s so I still skip meat and poultry at Food Lion. The store is dated but they did recently start a renovation to make the spacing within aisles wider. It doesn't seem to be a very busy store which makes it easy to get in and get out of. The employees are generally friendly.
