It was heartbreaking to learn that my bridal party had been referred to as a "shit show," and during our sparkler exit, our guests were told to "shut the f*** up and listen." I also spoke with some of our other vendors, all of whom had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and assured me that we had been wonderful to work with. That made this experience even more difficult to understand. All of these events were very surprising to me because of all the good things I read about Nicole. After the wedding, I reached out to Nicole directly because I wasn't looking to argue or jump right to leaving a negative review. I simply wanted to share how her words and actions affected us, our families, and our guests. Nicole initially asked to speak over the phone, and I was open to that. However, after receiving her text response, I no longer felt a phone call would be productive. Much of her response focused on explaining that issues with another event earlier that day had carried over into her interactions with us. She also shared that members of her own staff had expressed concerns about her character. There was no gesture of goodwill or acknowledgment beyond explanations for why it happened. I didn't write this review out of anger or to discourage people from supporting a local business. I wrote it because I believe every couple deserves to know what our experience was like before trusting someone with their wedding day. A wedding isn't just about serving a meal it's about helping create an environment where couples, their families, and their guests feel welcomed, respected, and cared for. I hope that this feedback is taken to heart so that future couples receive the kindness, respect, and professionalism that every wedding deserves.
