I came last week to pick up my bi-monthly $5 DoorDash here, the usual drip coffee, hot chocolate latte, and a custom latte all, and such a happy, convenient, and affordable pleasure. I've come for decades for everything from gas to a quick bite on the run to some drinks to splurge and always the happy foot traffic from content customers adds to the pleasure. The staff are always atop whether it's the hot sandwich stand to the cashiers station to those keeping all the coffee pots hot to the cold drinks section stocked. I praise the popular Tesla chargers in the back which keep the place humming, literally and metaphorically, and the large array of gas stands afront which have kept the community fueled literally since day 1 here. As 1 of the more Northern Wawa's, they keep the famed cult fave going and are a big part of the community's daily life as well as mine. Their rear entrance is very convenient to avoid making a left turn off NJ-28 West but copious other entryways make any approach good. Pickups with wide loads will find the usual wide turns doable here and the significant lighting makes even a dark winter's visit bright and alerting. Lastly, the restrooms are alright, especially good for a gas station, and praise that they're so quickly accessible for those on the go. read more

I ordered a meatball sub from this place and was completely disgusted when I found a hair inside my sandwich while eating it. It totally ruined my appetite and made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation area. After dropping off a guest in a nearby town, I came to this Wawa since they had a Tesla Supercharger lot. While my car war charging, I walked in to grab bit as it was late night and I was starving. I found the store very clean and tidy. There were lots of drinks and snacks available. The coffee section was all clean. The deli section was still open and they were serving customers sandwiches. Luckily I found some hot food still available in the warmers. Both couple of packs of chicken nuggets. Also got a bottle of Diet Coke. They had self checkout booth, it was quick and easy to pay. The Bridgewater NJ store is fantastic!!! A huge shout out to Jennifer the shift/store manager. I received a FREE!! reward of an ICEE via Wawa rewards on the app. Of course I chose the new flavor - IMO - a little bit sour apple, a little raspberry and a bit cotton candy flavor. Jennifer seeing I was struggling carry my ICEE with my walker, helped to take my frozen drink to the cash register, ring it up as FREE, and then proceed to bring the drink to my car so I wouldn't spill it. That was really going beyond expectations. Thank you so much Jennifer! And it was delicious!!!. Things continued very well as I drove to the pumps and had Kenny, the gas station attendant give me a few dollars worth. As soon as I pulled up to the pump, he was right there. He repeated back my order to confirm it, began pumping and returned as soon as he heard the click of the pump. He thanked me for stopping by Wawa. Did I mention he greeted me with a smile and also smiled when he thanked me for coming to Wawa! Now there are other non-Wawa gas stations in the area that don't have so nice employees. Went in there this afternoon to pick up subs and what not. Went to the terminal to put in order, kids behind the counter smokin and joking, screwing around, and spewing expletives. Prep area was sloppy. This location went downhill. Never coming back. I went there with wife and my 20 months old, she stayed in car with baby. Stop by this place call WaWa gas Station as we where heading back to New York from Pennsylvania, lots of things to choose from, plenty of coffee, Food Mart, fresh sandwiches vierity of candy, junk food, place was very neat and clean, plenty of parking, gas is average prices, you even have a attendant that fills out your gas for you at no extra charge unlike the rotten apple. Going through self checkout I scan my rewards card the my items and the system tells me an associate will be with me in a moment and starts flashing red on the top. I wait a minute for assistance and the associate ignores me. A brand new location for my favorite convenience store. This is a full service location with a multi-pump gas station (including diesel) alongside all the regular food and drink options. Service is efficient and friendly. Food is consistent with Wawa standards (awesome). Bathrooms are clean, though it is brand new so that's to be expected. Two PNC ATMs for your money needs. It was busier than expected both times I went, but the staff had no trouble keeping up with orders and getting people checked out. read more

Just went in to get coffee. Wanted the holiday blend but it was all out ..at 9 pm. Opted for 100 percent columbian. Also purchased a French Vanilla. I wish we had tasted our coffee in the store because if we had we would have dumped them in the trash. Got dinner tonight (8/30/2017), a chicken quesadilla and a chai tea. The quesadilla was undercooked and about half the chicken was expired. Threw most of it away. The "24 oz." chai was about 9/10 ice--in fact, the actual liquid in the cup didn't reach the rim of a 10-ounce mug. So on the whole, dinner tonight was (1) gross, and (2) a ripoff. I also filled up the tank while I was there, hoping the gas was actually gas and that my car doesn't puke later. The bag of Combos was fine and, as always, the place was neat, clean, and bright. This company location steals money from the customer. I've called on multiple occasions to report that the employees at the gas pumps are "topping off gas" or rounding to the nearest whole dollar, which is terrible for your car, resulting in check engine lights after prolonged occurrences, and that is stealing my money. When my car cuts the gas flow OFF that means the gas tank is full. You do not keep charging me for more gas! I'm paying with credit card, NOT cash, so they don't have to count coins, so there is NO need to round off to the nearest dollar. No one here seems to enjoy their job; inside or out. I haven't had a chance to review this Wawa since it opened. We were so excited for them to finally open my daughter and husband love this place. I am giving them 3 stars because it's a hit or miss sometimes. I know in the beginning they were working out the kinks as most places do the first few months. By now those should be worked out. Some areas are a complete mess soda station and coffee station can be a hot mess. But I will say I love the hazelnut coffee and creamer here better than any other place. Cashier wise some of them like to chit chat with other workers when they should be getting the line down . Some of them I see hustle more than others . Some have great personalities and some of them can be on the crabby side sometimes but I get it if you are hustling and others aren't I might be crabby also . Prices for the most part at reasonable when they run specials on subs and coffee and other items . The Wawa iced tea is a family favorite and the warm chocolate chip cookies so good !! read more

I had a very unpleasant experience while getting my morning coffee today. I often find myself visiting this location early morning as it is on my way to work. Everytime I go in and see this particular night cashier working I cringe because she is very unpleasant. She is being paid to assist paying customers in checking out and is supposed to help and make things easier for said customers. I can not remember ever being greeted with a smile or even an exchange of simple pleasantries (hi how are you, thank you, have a good day, ect...) I often leave feeling as though I have inconvenienced this employee just by spending my money at this store. Poor attitude aside, this morning I was treated down right rudely. I do not know why people work in the customer service field if they are so unhappy and miserable. These people should not be dealing with the public if they can not represent the company that pays their paycheck in a positive way. I can go to quick check and be greeted with a smile and feel welcomed and can even go into wawa at 6PM and be greeted by a cashier with a positive attitude and demeanor and feel valued, but I guess that expectation doesn't exist over night or shouldn't be expected during early morning hours. Anyway, to continue, this morning I entered the bridgewater store approximately 2:45 am and I see the "ball of joy" cashier working but ignore it and proceed to fill my thermos up at the coffee station. My thermos is a little tall so I had to lift the coffee dispenser up just a little bit so I can fully fill it as I have done countless times at this store and many other stores as it does not fit underneath the dispenser normally. This rude employee proceeds to yell at me, "you can't pick that up!" Not, "can I help you with that?" Offering no indication of understanding that I had to fill my thermos and needed a little more room to do so. Just rudely declaring "I can't do that". I am sure I am not the only person to have to do this. Lol. I was not in the mood to be berated my some nasty overnight cashier I proceeded to ask what rule says I can not fill my thermos up at the coffee station. I am using a reusable container and reducing waste by not taking a disposable cup and wawa offers the refill option in doing so. She did not offer an answer to my question, rather she proceeded to yell at me again just saying I can not do that. She hollers for someone in the back to come out for some reason and the other employee came out and just looked completely confused. I asked the other guy if this lady was gonna be ok. I proceed to bring my purchase to the register and try to calmly explain why I had to adjust the coffee dispenser to fully fill my thermos as I have done dozens of times before without incident. Then this rude cashier began to tell me that the containers that hold the coffee cost $1500 dollars and I was somehow going to damage them. Lmao..... I guess wawa uses those gold lined coffee warmers... lol . I do not believe the pots that dispense and keep the coffee warm cost nearly that much and regardless lifting the pot up two inches will not do any harm to it anyway. The fact that this person went out of their way to try to tell me I can not do something that doesn't involve her what so ever shows how miserable and negative they truly are. In conclusion, I hope that wawa can find a job better suited for this individual rather than having her provide customer service for patrons. I have dealt with this employee's poor attitude many times before and never commented on it because it was never important enough to me. I know I am not the only person to comment about this individual's poor attitude and rude behavior. I have been less than impressed with the demeanor of this cashier many times before, but today really bothered me and I felt I just had to share this experience so hopefully it can be brought to light and maybe steps can be taken to correct this. A smile and a "hello" go a long way when a person is representing a company. Especially when going to another store or even going to the same store at different times, i can feel valued and respected when i spend my money. I think this cashier may not understand that when refilling a large cup, there may not be enough room to fill it as normal and some adjustments need to be used to properly fill it. Hopefully management can explain this to her so she is not confused in the future. Maybe have an understanding as to why a person may have to lift the dispenser to refill their own cup. Instead of making up arbitrary rules on the spot because they do not understand something. And with this particular cashier maybe offer some retraining or perhaps better knowledge that they are in fact being paid to be there to "help" people that come in to buy the things that Wawa sells. Customers shouldn't be viewed as an inconvenience but be valued as the reason the store is open for business. read more

I got gas on 11/17/19 just to fill up the Home Depot rental. I handed my debit card to a young man and he pumped my gas and later on that day i found out my debit card was used for Restaurants charges i didn't make. so i had to get a whole new card thanks to this hack. I wasn't very happy at all. Now i use only CASH at the pumps or at gas stations i know the guys at. The young man that pumped my gas only looked about 16 years old and i should have payed more attention to him but if the scammers on the machine that i wouldn't have known. read more

I love wawa! But kind of dissapointed with a sandwich I ordered last night. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich with just cheese. I received a chicken sandwich with a couple dots of buffalo sauce. Kind of annoying considering I wanted BUFFALO sauce all over the sandwich hence me ordering it. and the girl behind that counter wasn't so nice about it. Had a stank face.. But today after I got a messed up super sweet shake I went back and I was very happy when the guy offered to just remake them after I just asked him to pour some out and add yogurt to un sweeten the shake a little. I always love little convenience stores like this - the little stores that still serve good fast food at the deli area or whatever you want to call it.
