I've never seen a RoFo so dirty. Stopped to get snacks and use the bathroom at 9:30 at night. No soap in the woman's bathroom. NO SOAP. That means every person that uses the bathroom can't wash their hands and then walks around the store touching things. I mentioned it to the cashier. And his response was yeah I know. I haven't had a chance to anything about it. Like what? I'd be okay waiting an extra 5 minutes for my chicken if it meant you wanted the bathroom to have soap. The floors were covered in toilet paper like a middle school boys bathroom. And tampon trash! There's no way an employee had looked at it for many hours. The stores floor was disgusting. The trash cans outside were spilled over. Every single one of them. We will drive on by the next time we need to stop near this one. It was that bad. read more

This was one of the dirtiest rofos. Went to get a fountain soda and every surface in that area was sticky and nasty. Stuff spilled all over. There were no lids anywhere and some of the cabinet doors were just sitting open. There was a handful of some lids for icee drinks and that's it. You can't tell me anyone cleaned that area in the past 2+ weeks. read more

from a far this looks like a nice new facility but when you get close you see, it's covered in mildew, the icemaker looks filthy, and the tile floor at the entryway is blackened with filth, the men's room seems to be in a perpetual state of disrepair... I can only imagine what the back rooms looks like if this is what the front looks like. Bright spot is they seem to have plenty of people working here I've never had to wait to get food. read more

This is one of the best Royal Farms l have visited in a while. Could it be because it was located on the Eastern Shore of MD??? Maybe... Upon entering, the first thing l noticed was the wood flooring that ran throughout the entire store. Nice. We were hungry, so l headed straight for the order kiosk, but had an issue with it. A pleasant young man came from behind the serving counter and assisted me. A plus! As l waited for the order to be prepared, l paid for it and went to use the rest room. Clean and neat, just how l like my restrooms. Shortly after, my order was ready. Will definitely be stopping by this location more often when in the area. read more

Filthy dirty everywhere from bathrooms where there is dried urine on the toilets and toilet paper dust on the toilet paper dispensers , urine and toilet paper on the floors. The sinks are filthy , you can't see yourself in the mirrors because of some product squirted on them , hand dryers don't work , often no soap , stains in toilet dirt on floors and sinks . This was a super impressed with this Royal Farm. It is obviously either brand new or newly remodeled but it is nice. The inside was well organized which was good since there were so many people packed inside. It has your usual convenience items, lottery machine and pretty quick check out. So. On 08/31/12, me and Mara G. get up before the crack of dawn, jump in the car, and head east. We wanted to beat the traffic across the bridge. We wanted to be at the beach for coffee. Well, we got across the bridge. But I convinced her that a fried chicken leg is the appropriate driving food. Even at 5 am. Yep, we stopped at Royal Farms at five o'clock in the morning and got fried chicken!!! Chiche I know. Stereotype I know. Just shoot me. Hey we were in Talbot county. That could have happened anyway. But I digress. I got my chicken drummy, wrapped a napkin around the boot (because it was piping hot, too hot to hold), got back in the driver's seat, and peeled out headed for the shore. I had a few people tell me to stop by here and I kept putting it off. I finally came here and was glad I did. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. The restrooms are clean too. The customer service wasn't bad either. If Wawa and Sheetz had a baby it would be Royal Farms. A little bit of subs, sandwiches and breakfast items. They even have a little bit of fried food on the menu like their "world famous chicken". I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich the first time. The second time I went I had the tenders and they were pretty good. This time I decided to try the turkey and Swiss sub. It was a little bit smaller than I expected but tasted good. Maybe next time I'll get a breast and a wing with some wedges or Mac and cheese. Im a butterscotch krimpet fiend so I love the Tastykake display that hey had as well. read more

Passed 3 Royal Farms on the way home and finally couldn't resist the urge for some fried chicken. The second place I stopped by seemed nice, it was the largest of the three but they had a 15 min wait for chicken. I was in a rush to get home so I passed it up, bad choice. Found a third place and thought I'd tried my luck. Ended up practically wasting 20 minutes in this place. The lady behind the counter was super rude, barking orders like a dictator to the other employees (I'm not sure if she was manager or anything but she was rude). Not only that, but rude to customers, too. I felt bad for the other employees, they looked like they were suffering. And the chicken, I got dark meat because it's not as dry as white. But wtf, the chicken legs were like biting into cardboard. This was just such a bad experience here. Luckily it's far enough for me to say I'll never be back. read more

The lady who assisted me was really rude and albeit racist. She did not greet me, removed the $.25 coupon off my sunflower seeds but never scanned it and refused to put my receipt (after reminding her that I wanted it) in my hand although I handed her my signed merchant copy. I ordered two pieces of dark meat chicken and fries and was not very satisfied. It was more like "just-eating-something-to-eat-something" but I definitely did not "enjoy it" While I don't frequent Royal Farm locations very often, I know what to expect when I do visit and my experience here was not good. Mislabeled the food so I got to the car and it wasn't what I purchased (bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit - it had sausage instead). Went to exchange it but they didn't have any more bacon. Got a chicken biscuit instead but it was 50 cent cheaper. They were unable to refund me the difference. Took two bites of the chicken and it was dry, cold, and horrible. Just threw it away and left. There are better places down the road. Royal Farms struck out today and they weren't even swinging! read more

Always clean, staff great me with positive smile and the coffee/tea bar is always spot on. This is my go to twice a month as I visit my parents who live in Lewes, DE. I come in for hot tea, and the bar is always stocked with my needs and wants. Restrooms are clean, stocked as well which is important to me too. Keep up the good work Royal Farms! Nice, clean, small restrooms. Great food despite the burned, dirty grease smell when you walk in. I didn't order anything fried so I was fine. You can select your own combinations of everything for sandwiches. The food prep was slow. But we managed to get in and out fine. read more

In this case, some of the best fried chicken you'll ever have, at a gas station or a stand alone restaurant. Bypass the big chain chicken joints and stop right into a local Royal Farms. It's really tasty, well seasoned, crispy, juicy, made to order fried chicken that will stand up to your mom's special recipe any day. I make a point on the way, while I'm there, and on the way back from the Delaware Beaches to stop at a Royal Farms for chicken. They are ubiquitous in the eastern shore area so plan your stops accordingly. I take the tremendous risk of eating while driving after purchasing a fresh batch of chicken and potato wedges. Sometimes I just take the risk of getting further behind in the traffic so I just setup shop in the parking lot indulging in a few pieces while in my car. It's that good! read more

I am a local and frequented this location on a regular basis. This place is a complete ripoff!!!! At one point a gentleman by the name of Jame's worked here and would always assure my food was correct & fresh. He hasn't worked there in about a year and I have hardly returned to spend my $. It's a shame that their slogan is "real fast, real fresh" when it might be fast it certainly isnt fresh! Their food is amazing if its made correctly and its actually fresh. The chicken dries out and is similar to esting carpet which to me is unacceptable when your spending almost $10 on a chicken box. Their jalapeno cheese they barely fill the plastic container, another ripoff. This is not real fast, real fresh. This is overpriced, gas station fare at best. I used to be here 2-3 times a week for their chicken from before the remodel to after the new construction. I have gone from a regular customer to the customer who takes his $ elsewhere! Poor reflection of the brand & I am not alone. If i could give RoFo 0 stars thats all they deserve from my experiences! read more
