I stopped by the Ford store and noticed this beautiful red 2021 Jeep Wrangler. Recently, I've been interested in buying another Jeep product, I've previously owned 4 or 5 in my life, and this pretty 4 door Wrangler caught my eye. Dan Tackley gave me the complete rundown and I took the vehicle for a test ride. What a great, well maintained, and solid Wrangler with less than 30K on the odometer. The Royal team also provides a limited drive train warranty of 2 years and 100K miles at no extra cost. Dan and I, with the assistance of the Royal Motors sales management staff, came to a very comfortable price and we closed the purchase. I have purchased a total of 6 vehicles over the last approximately 20 years from this company. My wife and I purchased a2024 Fird Escape with an extended warrantee. At the time the sadness to asking with the finance manager told us that the key fob was covered for replacement if it was lost or stolen or malfunctioned. I lost the fob. I called and Rita in service screeched into replacement. I specifically told her the fob was lost. Not broken . Not malfunctioning. Lost. She ordered a fob and called to tell me that Not only was it covered under the extended warrantee but that also Ford bumper to bumper would cover the total cost. When I arrived at the service dept. BRIAN the manager told me that I would have to pay over $300 because there was a" misunderstanding" and I would have to give them the missing fob. The fib that was lost. Magically I was supposed to produce the fob that trey were replacing. I left and decided to speak to Hason Harris the GM . I caked him the next day and explained the situation. He repeatedly told me he would look it the matter but there was no way anyone told me it works be free. Today Brian called to tell me that not only was I never told that it works be free but that they could also replace the fob for my 2921 F150. I gave him the info and 20 minutes later he called to tell me he was " mistaken" and the contract was voided but they could sell me an upgraded Assurance contract that would now miraculously cover the replacement fob . When I told him I would not downs money in another useless contract he offered to sell me the fob and told me it was unreasonable for me to punish me over my carelessness and that the dealership could not " give " a fob but they could v gladly sell it to me. I will NEVER do business with this company again and v advise you to look elsewhere when buying a vehicle and definitely Do Not Trust or Believe anything the service dept the sakes dept or the General Manager Jason Harris has to say. Especially since he Jason Harris had neither the respect nor consideration to call me himself to tell me that my morally us led important to his dealership them the $320 replacement cost. read more

My straight from the factory transit arrived with an extra twist of the driver's seat belt making it uncomfortable and after releasing the e brake, a message on the dash indicating it was still engaged would remain despite brake disengaged. I had added roof racks and a seat swivel before taking the van in for corrections made to the seat belt and e brake. Royal Ford denied warranty coverage under the false claim that my modifications (roof rack, swivel seat) voided the manufacturer's warranty. Would you want to purchase a vehicle from a dealership that spews such hogwash and instead of taking responsibility for their defects chooses to blame and inconvenience you? Oh yes, and when I purchased the van, they tacked on an additional $100 above the agreed on written price. And no, I'm not a disgruntled employee but I'm not surprised they have them. Update - Picked the van up today from Royal Ford and they made good on the corrections required. Service department still claiming modifications void the warranty. They claim to not be aware of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and believe it doesn't apply to Ford. I first approached the sales manager who was cooperative and pretty much pushed through the resolution. The bill was only $80 which they ate. It wasn't submitted to Ford warranty because of "modifications". Whether the service department truthfully is unaware of the MMWA, they were cordial and responsive. read more

The WORST place you could take your car. They take weeks even months to do things that any other garage would make it a 1 day project. They suck at giving you any sort of updates on your car, weeks go by you end up calling them, they tell you they are gonna get to it the next day and then another week goes by and you call again, they say they havent got to your car yet. That is ridiculous. The worst part, they have no clue what there doing, gave my car back without checking to make sure they fixed it, almost got into an accident on the way home and took it right back. If it wasn't for the other persons insurance that hit my car in the first place, covering the damage I would have took my car to LITERALLY anywhere else. read more

My car sat there for a year for a tcm that was on back order. I drove the car there in running condition, they never started the car for the 11 months it was there and the alternator went bad. Cost me an extra $266 for them to fix what could have been prevented, if they don't have the man power to start the cars they should have called and I could've done it myself. They supposedly have 8 more cars sitting there waiting for this same part, I'm sure they'll make a few more bucks off some of them. You break something, you fix it - on your expense! That's what reputable people and/or businesses do. Three times I've been here, two times left unsatisfied. Lesson learned. read more

Classic bait and switch. Spoke with them on the phone and said the car was 10500. When we got there, and spoke to Felix, he comes out of no where and says 12000.Mind you, the kelley blue book price and other dealers list the car around 10500 also. He wouldn't even let us test drive the car unless we gave him a price! What the hell? He made excuses that the guy on the phone was "new" and said he can make it a bit cheaper but said 10500 he cant do. We told him we want it for 8000 just to see how he would react and he says no while shaking his head and waving his around his "jazz" hands. We walked out. Wasn't even worth our debate. More than 16 of these reviews are not recommended at the bottom and almost all of them have 1 star. I wonder why. Something to hide? read more

So far, not good! I bought my car, a 2018 chevy cruze, yesterday. I had it less than 24 hours and the check engine light came on. It's in the shop now and apparently they have to order a part which will take God knows how long. To make matters worse, not one person has said "I'm sorry." They act like I'm the one inconveniencing them. If one person had just said "I am so sorry, this shouldn't have happened. We're going to do everything we can to make it right," I would have been more than satisfied. The attitude gets me more than the actual problem with the car. read more

Uses the poor business practice of spamming people, even in Ithaca, NY sending out auto pamphlets/magazines with an attached metal and plastic key----THOUSANDS of these which CANNOT even be recycled and are incredibly wasteful. What kind of energy and resources are used in producing tens of thousands of keys and printing and shipping out magazines spam-style in the hopes of getting a couple customers? I purchased a car through this company, the ​service was great until I wanted to cancel the extended service contract. I was told the bank required it​ when I called the bank there was no such requirement. I was lied to. I turned in a written copy of the cancellation request on June 22 and sent onecertified​d that was signed for on the 5th of July. It has been over 30 days since the last request and still no cancellation. MOPAR service tells me it only takes 14 days. I have callled numberous times and have not received a call back about the status of this cancellation. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS. read more

Was having mechanical issues with our 2013 F 150 Ecoboost going into "limp mode." Brought the truck into Royal Ford for repairs. They told me they had a lot of waits and it would be a while to get the truck in since one tech was out. I asked for a ride back to our camper at the campground and was provided a lower car since they did not want us stranded. Three hours later the truck is repaired and covered under warranty. Great job and thanks for the use of a loaner car. read more

I'm not sure if this is the same as Kevin's Royal Automotive, but if it is I have the highest regard for them. I bought 2 Ram trucks from them in the last year and not only are the trucks great, but arranging the transaction was a pleasure with the help of Michael Counts. He is my goto man there. Anything I need he goes well beyond the call of duty to make it happen! I also got a smoking deal on both my trucks! I am as happy as could be. So I have been looking for a Jeep Patriot high altitude for a month now for my girlfriend who needed a new vehicle. I currently already had two deals in the works for her at two different dealers that were pretty decent for a 2015 with 32,000 miles on them. One was 230 a month for 72 months and the other was 226 a month for 72 months and they both were the exact same make and model and year of the Patriot. The only thing was the color wasn't really what my girl was looking for, she wanted black. So to keep my options open and to make sure I get my girl the best deal possible I requested a quote for the exact same one royal auto had on their lot and it was black. So a sales man called me back and before I could even get started I specifically told him that I didn't want to waste my time going all the way out their if he couldn't beat these two deals. He told me that they were having a liquidation deal that weekend and he said there's a great chance I'd get that deal done and he assured me that he definitely could make a deal for me. So I then told my girl who became excited and so we drove out there thinking we were coming home with her dream car. We got there and a very nice guy came out to help us and I explained to him I already had a deal goin on with one of their sales guys and he said he was with another customer so he showed us the car and we fell in love with it. So while we were waiting for him we filled out the credit stuff and waited some more till finally the finance lady came out to talk to us. Mind you I still haven't talked to the guy I had been talking too and so this lady came out with this outrageous deal for us. It was 330 a month for 72 months and I laughed out loud. I looked st her and she gave me the biggest attitude and said that was the best she could do. I looked at her and showed her the two other offers for the EXACT SAME VEHICLE and she told me "well you should go get that car then cause their Jeep was under priced already." The Jeep at their lot was 16,999 and the two other jeeps were both 15,885 and I got them to knock off a grand to make them 14,885. Mind you I had 3,500 bucks in cash to put down so I look at her and tell her she's lying and it's fine but your still not gunna make a deal with us even with this in cash and show her the cash and she snapped back at me again that there's no way she can get down to that. I look at her and ask to talk to the guy I have been talking to over the phone and she said well theirs no point I can't come down so you might as well go get the other car if that's what you want. I was appalled at what was happening and told my girl let's go and we left. They let me WALK OUT OF THERE WITH 3500 bucks in CASH and i still haven't heard from the guy saying we could make that deal he said we could make. I will never go there again for another vehicle and will tell everyone never to go there cause they lie and they don't have cheaper cars like they say they do. The finance lady there js very rude and unprofessional. I couldn't believe I drove out their for that kind of service. Other than the first guy that helped us in the beginning was completely helpful and tried to make things work other than him that was the worst dealship iv ever been too in my life. We ended up get the EXACT SAME VEHICLE THEY HAD for 14,500 for 225 a month for 72 months. Don't go to this dealership. read more

Buyer beware...very shady dealership. If you have a problem you will never speak with the owner. They will not take messages for him and they do not deal with problems. I purchased a SUV from the and have had nothing but problems. After having the vehicle in their shop 3 times I took it to another dealership. I was told I should get a Carfax report . They beleived the vehicle had been wrecked. Sure enough it had been. When I called the dealership they claimed no knowledge and that the auction never told them They stated they needed to check the vehicle over so they could go back on the auction house. What they did is keep it for almost 3 weeks and try to fix it...still not fixed.I have gotten the run around for 5 months.
