When we got off our ship I called them and we'd gotten off earlier and they picked us up 45 mins early. This company tries to accommodate their customers as much as they can. The woman who answers the phone at Island Breeze Shuttle was rude from the second she picked up. She had a attitude about everything I said. Instead of being kind she was condescending. If she is a owner god help us......I couldn't remember the exact date of my booking, and instead of helping me, she acted irritated and completely dismissive. After giving me attitude, she finally agreed to search by my email address. Then she made a comment, saying that in all her years she had "never heard such an asinine comment." Completely uncalled for. When I told her I didn't appreciate how she was speaking to me, she hung up on me. This is not how you treat customers. I own a shuttle business myself, and I would never treat my clients the way this place treated me. If this is their idea of customer service, I can only imagine how the actual service would be. Beware--you won't get the service you expect here. I tried supporting a local company, and this is what I got in return. Terrible experience. One star only because zero isn't an option.

I highly recommend this company as it is slightly cheaper than a cruise shuttle and the van is smaller than the buses. I made a reservation to go from IAH to Galveston for 5 o'clock on a Thursday. I later received a phone call telling me that the 5 PM shuttle had been canceled and that there would be no shuttles available later that day. I then made a reservation to stay at a hotel overnight so that I could catch the shuttle at 9 AM back to Galveston. No shuttle arrived. When I checked my email, I realized that I had 2 confirmations: one for 9 AM and one for 1 PM. No shuttle arrived at 9 am. When I called to inquire, they acknowledged that they moved me and had not done anything other than sent a second confirmation. No personalized email. I received no phone call. They said that was because I didn't put a phone number in the reservation. No one took the time to check whether I was a repeat customer or not. So now I have to wait at the airport for an additional four hours. Very poor customer service. Do not recommend.

I pre booked with Galveston Shuttle to make sure the six of us had rides to the airport and didn't have to fight for or pay ridiculous prices for Uber or Lyft rides to the airports that service Houston. We had four people going to Houston Hobby airport and two people going further to George Busch airport. They took people to both airports on one motor coach. The coach was in great shape, very comfortable, the driver was safe and it had a great working air conditioner. They loaded your bags and unloaded your bags for you. We just gave them a little gratuity for their efforts. The price for our trip worked out to $56 per couple. The funny thing is that Galveston Shuttle contracts with Carnival Cruise line and you got on the exact same motor coach and Carnival charges this amount per person. Hmmmm, let me do the math for the exact same service. We got out of there pretty quick considering the amount of traffic that was in all the cruise terminals. Be patient while waiting, they stop at each terminal to pick up people and came just a little past time to our terminal. We were ok because we pre planned with enough time to get to the airport with out stress. So, do your self a favor and make sure you give yourself enough time to catch your flight. Don't wait till the last minute and then blame them.

My family and I flew from the San Francisco Bay Area to Houston Hobby and needed a ride to Galveston to port for a cruise. I contacted 3 different car service companies and decided to go with Top Tier Chauffeur services, out of instinct and I'm so happy I did. The day of our arrival, Betty texted me and provided me with the name of our driver, Kae, and his phone # and told me he will be in baggage claim to meet us after our flight. Soon after, I received a text from Kae. When we landed we went straight to baggage claim, there was Kae right when we got down the escalators holding a digital sign with my name on it. He made it easy to find him. He walked with us (there were 4 of us) to pick up our bags from the carousel then loaded our bags into the suburban. The ride was nice and clean. Kae was welcoming and engaged in our conversations. We started talking about Buc-cees and lo and behold we did a quick pit stop there. Our first time at a Buc-cees so we were super grateful for that stop. The day we came back from the cruise, I received a text from Kae letting me know he was going to be the one picking us up as well. I texted him when we got off the ship and he was there within minutes with cold water for each of us. If you know how hot and humid Galveston, TX gets then you know cold water is a treat. The driver showed up without a fare meter visible in his vehicle, took us to the terminal and announced 0n arrival the fare would be $30. This when past recent fares have been $20. Uber charges $13 for the same trip. You can pay online and if not satisfied no tip is required. Use Uber instead
