I live in this complex with my newborn baby recently released from the NICU and my 12-year-old child who has asthma, and our living conditions have become unbearable due to ongoing harassment and constant exposure to smoke and heavy sage burning from our neighbor. Despite months of complaints to the leasing office, corporate, and even the police, absolutely nothing has been done. The neighbor continues to burn sage so heavily that it burns our eyes and throat, and the smoke fills our apartment daily. They have also threatened me and my child, harassed my guests, and slam their doors so violently that pictures fall off our walls. I recently had a total knee replacement on November 17th, and instead of recovering in a safe environment, I am dealing with constant stress and unhealthy air conditions. We even contacted ECHO Housing, who advised the neighbors to stop, yet the behavior continues every single day with no action from management. Corporate refuses to return my calls, and the office has shown zero concern for our health or safety. This complex does not protect families, children with medical conditions, or tenants dealing with legitimate safety issues. The quality of living here has gone completely downhill. So many long-time tenants have already moved out, and it's clear the management's priority is filling units--not maintaining a safe community. If you care about your health, your children, or simply living in a respectful and well-managed property, look elsewhere. This has been the worst living experience I have ever had, and they have officially lost a responsible, long-term tenant.

She told me there was a certain price point available and so I started the application process before visiting. During the application process I had to give my bank account information before I could even proceed past an initial application step. I did so knowing I would only be charged AFTER I submitted my application, just like it stated. I then visited the place the next day. While the temporary leasing agent was nice and helpful, he let me know that the pricing I had been given on the phone was not correct. I then left not wanting to move forward with my application. After I had left there I received a charge to hold the unit and run a background check. I NEVER submitted my application, I still had information to give so I couldn't. I called immediately and explained what happened. The hold on the unit was canceled but I was told I might still get charged for the credit run. My credit was never ran. After more than a month of calling, emailing, and following up, I finally got a refund for the unit hold. I never got a refund for the credit charge, which again, my credit check had not been run. Having a significant amount of money held while trying to find a place to live was very frustrating. So beware if you're applying here, don't submit your bank information or you might loose out on money. I tried repeatedly to find someone at corporate I could talk to about being charged unfairly but no one would give me the information. I emailed again explaining the situation but received no response. My thoughts on the unit: decent. 3rd story would not have been fun. There were cops talking to the neighbor at her door. There were also cops on the other side of the property as I pulled up. Not sure if it was related. First off, the apartment is the nicest I've ever rented. Modern amenities, brand new appliances, clean from ceiling to floors upon move in. I don't hear my neighbors at all and I'm living on the third floor so I have people above and below me. Every neighbor I've met so far has been so sweet and welcoming. Lots of young people here which I love because I'm old, but young at heart so I don't want to look at people like myself! Situated smack in the middle of Main Street so you have restaurants, bars, grocery stores and movie theatre's literally right out your front door! The bldg is tight as far as security. You need a fob or phone app to get into this place or you're out of luck. Everyone picks up after their doggies. The staff from porters to management (shout out to Thy for being amazing) are all wonderful. Always a smile and a hello from the staff when you pass them. Such a great change from living In the last apartment community I just left. Good riddance. I'm happier than ever living here and can't wait to enjoy the roof top pool as soon as I'm done unpacking!

The residents pay luxury prices to live here but are treated like a problem vs a resident. Pool/ hot tub should be open till midnight, not 10pm. Not uncommon to find deer noshing on plants near the cars or wild turkeys coming up from the creek below. Very serene environment. We have a new Crocodile to discourage the wildlife sharing our pool haha he is not as ferocious as he looks but seems to be working well! Our townhouse was a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath and when we first moved in, we had maintenance walk us around and show us all the important things in the townhouse. Any time we needed help they fixed the place within 2 business days. We never felt like we bothered management and they were always on the ball. The kitchen was fully upgraded, and when our washer and fridge went out, they replaced it right away. I'll never forget how fast they came on a Saturday to make sure our food didn't go rotten when they replaced the fridge it was incredible. The townhouse comes with washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, stove, AND dishwasher and they were all high brand appliances. This is the place to stay guys. And to think I accidently ran into these apartments 7-8 years ago looking for another apartment complex that was suppose to call us back. I wasn't going to be allowed to use the bathroom. Seriously? What happened to the friendly Valley Plaza employee? She has good and bad phases and now that we're waiting for a new manager, tenants are having to deal with staff mood swings. That's the down side. But I rely on Corporate to keep things running smoothly and maintenance is good also.

This year, during lease renewal, they added a term called "a more fair and equitable method of calculating utility charge." Who would think that this means they are going to increase the utility charge by 120%? According to them, a "more fair and equitable method of calculating utility charge" means increasing it from $95 to $210. The apartment next to mine has been vacant for nearly a year. I have seen 4-5 different tenants in that apartment over the past 3 years. I hope you understand. So, I strongly recommend: BEWARE before you move in here. I'm paying the price for my laziness.

The Apartment Complex and Parking are very Secure l!!! The Parking Carport is behind a beautiful Wrought Iron Security Fence! And Gate!!! I was impressed on how Clean and Bright the apartment is !!! The Kitchen Looked Great!!! The Appliances were Clean and Modern!! These Apartments Were A Baller On A Budget Approved!!!! I Keep my Pimp Hands Strong!! The grounds are kept very clean, there's no loud noises at all. The property manager Leslie was so welcoming from our tour of the place, to signing the lease. Everything has been a breeze. Furthermore, the layout of the apartments themselves is really excellent. The half bath is such a nice touch. Plus with the additional storage room we can declutter while keeping those items close to home. Very excited to live here, and we hope to stay for years to come !
