I paid a huge sum to transfer into a new unit because the first one was uncomfortable, and the second has been absolutely uninhabitable, to the point where I'm now sleeping in my car every day. In the first unit, the floors were paper thin and my upstairs neighbor kept waking me up. There was almost no natural light because a tree blocked the view. I emailed about it for a month, before management said a transfer might be possible, but it would cost $3,100 plus $250 more per month, including $50 (additional) for parking and about $200 extra in rent. I used the last of my savings to transfer for the sake of my health. The new unit has 8 HVAC units directly above the bedroom - I wasn't made aware of this prior to my moving in, and I wasn't allowed to tour the new unit either. The vibrations are so strong they rattle the walls and ceiling, and not even AirPods Pro ANC block them. They go off anywhere from once an hour to constantly, and because there are 8 of them, they all make different, unpredictable noises. Some sound like slow deep bass that can be felt in the bones while others make rapid whirring noises like a washing machine. It is impossible to sleep - I have been sleeping in my car since I moved here. I paid a $3100 transfer fee and am now paying $2600 a month to sleep in my car. I've submitted numerous normal and emergency maintenance requests and contacted management repeatedly about this issue. I have documented many recordings of the noise, including timestamps and proof of volumes above habitable levels, and have provided them upon request. Maintenance agreed that the vibrations and noise are unusual, and the layout of having 8 HVACs on one unit was strange, and they've tried a couple different fixes - unfortunately, none of which have worked. The sleep deprivation has made me sick on multiple occasions, and I have been in the ER. Management is now asking me to pay a lease break fee to leave, despite the hazardous situation and clear health impact. I have explained that I cannot afford this and have tried to follow up repeatedly, but I have not received a response in over a week and cannot reach anyone by phone, through email, or in person. I think Simone and Xiena are genuinely friendly people who try their best to communicate with renters, but management as a whole is very difficult to reach. This experience has caused me so much anxiety and deteriorated my mental and physical health. read more

The apartment itself is nice and the neighborhood is great, but the parking situation has been a nightmare. I pay $70/month for an assigned parking space, but other cars have repeatedly parked in my spot. On some occasions, I've even been blocked in and unable to leave, which is a serious concern. I've reported this multiple times and provided photos, but the issue continues with little enforcement. Sending reminder emails clearly isn't effective, and the fact that cars can't be towed without management approval especially after hours when no one is available is extremely frustrating. For context, I also pay $3,200/month for a 2-bedroom apartment, so dealing with this ongoing issue with no real resolution is unacceptable. I hope management improves enforcement so residents can actually use what they're paying for. read more

When I came to pick up the key on the scheduled day in their system, the leasing office said I can't pick up the key until the first day of the lease. Well, maybe you should fix your system first. It clearly allows me to pick up the key one day before the lease starts. Or, since I scheduled the pickup day almost a month ago, you should have notified me in time beforehand. Where do I start? Management is horrible and a liar. They didn't come to the pre move out inspection. They charged us for carpet even though we never got new carpet when we moved in and it was stained. We are being harassed every day for money even though we paid our move our early move out! Management also hung up on me when I tried to resolve it with them. We would not have moved out early except we had health and breathing problems. I am including a video of what our toilet was bubbling every day which is probably the cause of all of our foods and breads molding overnight constantly. Nobody cares to look into the air quality issue and mold issue. We feel management targeted us because they felt we were easy prey for a few thousand dollars. The staff that works there doesn't maintain anything properly on the property. Leaves are rarely removed from the street. If you ask for a light bulb change in the fridge because it is out they never show up. The appliances are horrific, old, and dishwasher doesn't clean anything. If you go to pay rent no one is ever at the office. They must sleep all day and the only way to get a hold of anyone is by email. If you choose to park in garage there is no transmitter and you have to drive up in a tight location to wave ur key fob on the box. The carpet was old and had stains when we moved in and they still try to charge us for new carpet. They probably did this to the previous occupant and yet we still did not get new carpet. No other damages were done and no one showed up all day for the inspection. If someone does show up for repairs they start inquiring about how much your willing to sell them items in your house which is a very creepy feeling knowing they can enter your house anytime they want to. MAINTENANCE/REPAIR Review : There's a residential portal for any maintenance or repair needed which is super helpful and easy to use. I moved into Dublin Station by Windsor August 2020 and had a few minor needs as we started to settle in. At the time of move-in, everything was good. Within a month, a couple of things needed to get replaced such as a lightbulb, microwave, and toilet flapper inside the toilet tank. For every time a repair was needed, the staff was cordial, efficient, and got sh*t done without hassle. I recommend moving here not just for the location and amenities, but because of the outstanding service. read more

Some nice things to say, but feedback afterwards. - we appreciate the bottle of prosecco when we moved in - good communication from leasing office - lease signing process was mostly streamlined wrt payments and signing on DocuSign - the grounds are generally kept litter-free; gym is well equipped (but there are tenants that just refuse to put their weights away) - hands-off management, for better or worse... With that being said, this place is still the mid of mid. Management and leasing office do as much as they are legally required to do, and nothing more. Fair. At least they're friendly, but every interaction I've had with them still has a litigious/ business-first backdrop so I generally ended up avoiding interacting with them. For example, a lot of the things they do for the community that seem like extra effort are in my opinion just to improve the surface-level aesthetic of the place, perhaps just to boost first impressions for prospective tenants: re-painted parking lines, re-surfacing common area grounds, and an annual hallway carpet cleaning (I'm assuming every floor received this). Sure, these are nice, but how about functional improvements like i) upgrading the intercom system and being diligent about adding new tenants to the system, ii) fixing the security gate locks expediently when the fobs stop working, iii) spikes on roofing so birds don't defecate all over the tenants' outdoor spaces [we asked for this to be addressed and maintenance did not care one bit so we never got to enjoy our patio space], iv) putting a limit on the timer for outdoor fire place so it doesn't run for hours and charge all the tenants for wasted gas, v) re-open the backroom that no one actually books so package overflow can be accessed more easily rather than from the leasing office where there is no organization by floor number, and vi) upgrading the building utilities so that tenants are charged for their metered water usage and not this ancient averaged usage based on occupancy bullshit [why should I save water if I'm going to pay for another unit's over-usage anyway?]. Dollar-wise, some things to note: 1. Utilities. Additional $300-500/mo. Obviously they can't give you a fixed price for this and I'm not saying I expect to get free utilities. However, it could have been made more explicit that water, sewage, waste, and pest are calculated out and administered by Minol, and that tenants will be paying the averaged cost of these things based on their unit's occupancy, not their own usage. This is buried in the leasing agreement. We knew this when we signed, but we did not expect it to cost us $175-250/mo. The units are older than they look and have poor insulation, so PG&E costs (electricity/gas are metered) can be higher than expected especially in winter months (more than $200/mo). 2. Move-out Fees. Costed $250, mostly reasonable? Would've costed us more had we lived there for longer, or had more carpet. They charge paint based on pro-rating of a 24-month cycle, not based on the actual status of the paint in the unit. Regardless of whether you clean the house well or touch up any paint yourself, they are probably going to charge you. Quality of Life things to note: - They only look at US credit history, so if you don't have one you're paying at least 1-month ($3K for us) in deposit. - Because each unit does NOT have its own water heater, it can take time for hot water to come out of the taps. For our shower, it took 40s to 5 minutes for hot water. For our kitchen sink, it would take 5-10 minutes. The gas stove's air vent was weak, and the fire alarm is extremely sensitive. - When we moved in, the floor was absolutely disgusting. We had to mop the floors for 5 rounds for all the grime and dirt to be gone (despite our movers removing their shoes and using floor/carpet protectors). We moved out b/c they increased the rent on us, and we wanted a more vibrant neighborhood. read more

Lived here for a year in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Rent was actually really good for the area, space and it being these are "luxury" apartments. They have a small gym, provides the basics; Treadmill, stair master, peloton, weights, and a small room for yoga and such. It is nice that they also provide wipes to wipe down equipment before and after use. Pool area is subpar. Hot tub appears old. Very quiet neighbors which was a plus as I work graveyard and sleep throughout the day. The trash valet is also nice. My reason for the two stars is management. Dealing with them and communication is somewhat of a nightmare. Attention to detail is low. And they are low key passive aggressive. When moving into the apartment, I didn't have high expectations for the cleanliness of it. As a matter of fact, I hired someone to clean it prior to me moving in. There was mold in toilet, it was dusty, washing machine inside was dirty, tub didnt appear clean, there was stains here and there in bathroom that I felt the apartment needed a little TLC. I thought the tenants before me just didn't do a good job cleaning it. However, upon moving out I find out that management apparently hires "professionals" to clean apartments before moving out, and yes, you are responsible for the cost. Mind you we left the apartment much cleaner then when we moved in. We cleaned ourselves and hired someone to clean it on top of that in the event that we missed something. They have the audacity to do some bullshit pre-inspection and say the apartment is dirty. But okay. When we first moved in we sent them photos of stains on the carpet, because I didn't want to deal with them later saying they were new. When we moved out they brought those same stains to our attention. I thought they had taken note of that as I was told in my first email before moving in. They mentioned how we may need to pay for those stains to be removed. Later, they say that actually no, we needed to pay for the carpet cleaning regardless due to normal wear and tear. Can you guys get it right? Am I paying for stains or normal wear and tear? They're just a mess. I personally have never had to deal with people who are as unorganized as they are. If you rent from here, TAKE PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING, they'll send you photos of everything stating you left it dirty. Don't even waste your time cleaning anything, they have "professionals" that will do a "professional" job. Luxury apartments with basic management skills. Also, before even moving out we had different staff tell us different things about our lease. One told us we could ask for an extension while the manager told us there was no such thing, we would just have to break our lease. Even communication between them is weak. HOSTILE MANAGEMENT!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! There are a lot of 1 star ratings here and they absolutely deserve it. The front office ladies' people are nice... until you sign the lease. Try to tell them something is wrong.... Your concern will be ignored and you will then get verbally attacked and blamed. They also gouge you for anything they can. I moved apartments from one to another and they charged me a $1,000 fee, plus made me double pay for rent for almost 2 weeks. When I tried to negotiate they got very angry and aggressive and said I should feel grateful that they even let me change units, and pay more. Then they blatantly told me that they "don't even know if I am a good renter" so why should they help me. I needed to move units. So they charged me almost $3,000 just to change units. Additionally, they tried to charge me almost $2,000 to replace the carpet because it had 3 small quarter size spots on the carpet. They tried to make it so that I could not fix anything after the inspection but I insisted and was able to remove the 3 spots and avoid the charge. However when I told them I had cleaned the carpet after the first inspection the lady was outraged and said I had no right to access the property and accused me of trespassing. I reminded her that they MADE me pay rent for the following 2 weeks after move out (and inspection) so the apartment was still mine. I was shocked at her reaction when I told her I had cleaned. They ALSO have massive security issues. No cameras where it matters. Off-site security takes about an hour to respond if they ever show up. So good luck if you see somebody who is suspicious. Better off just calling the cops and dealing with that drama. Bikes are stolen all the time. I have had 2 stolen in 4 months from the bike locker. My car was also broken into and items were stolen. When I talked to the property manager (Jessica Bush), she got very defensive and aggressive towards me. (Um, hello!!! I am giving you feedback on what it is like to live here and suggestions to improve. I don't feel safe! I don't like being victim-blamed!!!) All I was trying to do is explain what it's like to live here and she lost her temper!!!! It's hard to live in a place where management makes it clear they don't care about you or any feedback you have to offer and if you do you will get berated and rudely dismissed. Let's not forget half a dozen $15 fees they tack onto your bill that adds up to quite a bit every month. One of them is rodent control. Which is also a joke because mice got into my engine bay on the 4th floor and destroyed some wiring. Glad I'm paying for that too..... It's also a joke that it's branded as "luxury." If you consider the bottom of the line rental appliances and carpet, chipped Formica cabinets and bathroom vanities "luxury" then cool. Very disappointed after I moved in. The maintenance guys are very nice and about the only employees that are caring and understanding. In comparing prices and buildings in the area, they are a few hundred bucks a month cheaper. My partner and I Lived at this place in a one bedroom apartment. And although the community in the area is very nice this place is very unprofessional When you have an issue it takes a while to get back to you . The parking spots are very small and when there's someone parking constantly every day on your parking spot and you reach out to the leasing office it takes them weeks even months to respond back to you. And they respond back to you very unprofessionally . There's also other problems with the trash there's a trash room or you can go in and empty your trash when the employees forget to pick up your trash from your door but the trash room is over filled to the top of the ceiling and makes the whole entire hallway smell so bad. Terrible place to live. They claim luxury apartments but it's always dirty and something is always broken. Currently without hot water and management hasn't sent out any communication. They are never available via phone or in the office. There is always a sign saying to come back later and they claim it takes 2-3 people to show one apartment. Kelly is absolutely useless and when I actually found her and asked her how I can get ahold of anyone she told me I should try working at the front office of a property because it's really hard. Fire alarms go off at least once a month. 3x the first two weeks I moved in. The gym equipment is old and often broken. They recently re-cemented the pool... in the middle of July so no one had a pool for a month during the hottest time of the year. The property claims to have wifi but it doesn't work and there is no cell service in the business center. They also removed the coffee machine. Positives: the fire pit is a cool feature and the maintenance team is very nice. read more

My boyfriend and I lived here for a year before we had to relocate out of state, otherwise we definitely would have resigned our lease! Kelly and Jessica were awesome in the leasing office, and always super responsive when we would send emails with questions! Maintenance was fast for any needs we had, which were minimal! The walk to the train was very easy everyday, and I always felt safe walking our dog around the neighborhood by myself. Location was very convenient to grocery stores, as well as restaurants and other places we visited frequently. The only downside was the way the water/sewer was metered so we paid a little more than we probably would have in other properties since we lived in a 2 bedroom unit with more square footage. Even with that, we loved living here and truly enjoyed the amenities! (Package lockers, pool, amazing gym, fire pit, etc.) The neighbors were mostly pretty quiet, and noise from the street wasn't bad at all (our unit faced Dublin Blvd). read more

Jeez Louise... what a mess! After finalizing everything, I show up today to move into my apartment and low and behold, the unit does not look like the pictures they sent me. So to rectify the situation, they try and find another apartment but it's not ready for another week. So I have to extend the rental of my U-Haul but they refuse to pay for the fee of $338! Then they wanted me to also pay a higher rent of $100 a month. This is their screw up and I have to pay for it. I said I would not. I would rather not live at a place that will fight for every nickel and dime instead of making a new resident happy. And then to top it off, I have to wait two weeks to get MY money back. I made it clear that I would not be waiting two weeks to get my money back and that I needed it back ASAP but of course the billing department is closed on the weekend! My husband and I went to visit this property over the weekend and we absolutely love it. We came to check out a unit and anticipate to become a very near future resident. It's very beautiful and they offer a lot of amenities. One of the first things that I viewed was the mailroom because I receive a lot of online packages and I like to have an idea how things are coordinated when it comes to distributions. The mail room is a pretty good size and while there were many packages inside, they were neatly displayed, making it easy for a person to identify what belongs to them. The grounds were pretty well-kept, and the people that we encountered (guests/residents) were rather friendly. This building kind of reminds me of where we currently reside. I really like how smooth and easy it was to do a self guided tour. This allows you to tour the property at your own pace and just explore the area. They also offer the option of a leasing agent to assist you, for those who may prefer that. We are working with Eden and she has been very helpful with all of my questions/concerns. My only concern (which I'm sure is beyond this business) is the online verification process because it can be slightly frustrating. For myself, it verified my government ID, but when doing the selfie it didn't work. Eventually after so many tries I was locked out and I had to contact Eden a few times. She was able to get this reset and resent another verification link. After a few more tries, I was able to successfully verify my identity. This location is literally footsteps away from the Bart, which is perfect for those who commute by public transportation. The surrounding area is fairly new and is also very close to shops. This is definitely a place someone would want to call home after a long day at work. read more

They say its a non smoking apartment, but we keep seeing people smoking on their patios and in the terrace. Even after complaining to leasing office multiple times, they just put fliers. No action taken. parking garage door is always open, no security. once your lease is about to end, they will give you the new rent details just a month before when you have no time to compare the prices and they ask for notice period a month before lease end giving you only 3 days to find a place or agree to their high rent. they increased our rent almost 10% this year , with old appliances how can they expect us to pay that much increased rent? not going to recommend anyone to move in this apartment. read more

This property is located within a few minutes walk from a major grocery store, restuarants and retail options. There are also many great walking trails/paths easily accessible from the apartment. Being a newer complex, they offer quality kitchen appliances, a modern design and a beautiful outdoor pool/firepit/dining area. Even during the COVID-19 shutdowns, this complex has done a great job of making adjustments for tenants, providing reminders of social responsibility and communicating with tenants. Parking, even during the pandemic with everyone at home, is a non-issue. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth move-in and application process. As I only had a week to move out of my previous complex due to COVID-19, the Dublin Station by Windsor team went above and beyond to provide me with Facetimed tours of apartments, fast replies and turnaround on documents and adjusting to my move-in date needs. Jessica, the assistant manager, is an absolute pleasure to work with and does a fantastic job of making sure her tenants needs are met. While there are some not as positive reviews on this site, I truly believe that you create your own experience with apartment complexes. We've been here for 6 years and when we first moved in the carpet wasn't cleaned and was full of bad stains, they had them cleaned but never looked great....6 years later same Carpet with tears and management response was they are not replacing carpet but we can pay a up charge for them to install laminate floors. They canceled multiple work orders for the carpet before responding. The location is nice but not the management just fees on top of fees for nothing. The hot water is always being turned off, seems like they struggle to get it fixed. For the amount everyone pays I would think security would be onsite at night there's always homeless people sleeping on the patios of the outside apartments. read more
