The pancakes were burnt (black) on one side which the lady cooking tried to hide by putting the burnt side down. The scrambled eggs and omelette was over cooked. The burger buns suffered from the same fate as the pancakes. Over cooked and hard. At one time, this was a must try find in Clare. Now, not so much. Disappointing to say the least.

The sandwich wasn't very melty, I ended up heating it up in a pan myself which helped. It was super tasty, though! I love the combination of cheeses. The steak and mushroom soup was really good, with chunks of meat in a creamy broth. The snert soup was very salty! The menu description indicated the snert soup should have sausage or kielbasa in it, but we didn't notice any. The restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating, but I'd probably just order there next time. You can also get samples.

They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that.
