BUYER BEWARE! My experience with Diversey Auto Repair was absolutely unacceptable…read more I purchased four tires, and only ONE of them was actually usable. The other three were a complete disaster: One tire had a nail hole. One tire had a slashed sidewall. One tire wasn't even the correct size for my vehicle. I honestly couldn't believe someone would try to sell tires in that condition. It's either complete negligence or they simply don't care what they sell to their customers. To make matters even worse, when I went to pick up the tires, the employee acted like I was inconveniencing him because he was on his lunch break. He made sure I knew he was eating instead of acting like a professional. He even offered to help me load the tires into my vehicle, then immediately walked away, leaving me to wrestle with them by myself. I've never experienced customer service that rude. I then tried dealing directly with the owner, Rod, hoping he would make things right. Instead, all I got were excuses. Every time I contacted him through Messenger, he brushed me off by saying that "weeks had passed," as if that somehow excused selling me three bad tires. He repeatedly promised he would refund my money, but those promises were empty. The refund never came. Businesses make mistakes. What matters is whether they take responsibility. Diversey Auto Repair didn't. Selling damaged and incorrect tires is bad enough. Treating customers like an inconvenience and then refusing to honor repeated promises to make things right is even worse. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and money. There are plenty of honest tire shops in Chicago that inspect what they sell, treat customers with respect, and stand behind their word. Based on my experience, Diversey Auto Repair does none of those things. I will never do business there again, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere.
