Our typical order is goat dum biryani. If you order it spicy, it'll be really spicy- so be prepared. Taste wise, the flavors are definitely there. Now when it comes to the service- the wait for the food to come out is very long. And they didn't have Raita which is the yoghurt that goes with it- that is a big faux pas for biryani- especially if it's spicy. The raita they said was 'out', but they didn't bring salan either. So when we did ask for it, they brought us salan that was microwaved for way longer than it should have been. Mixed feelings about RH. read more

This has become one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always delicious, the service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. My absolute favorite appetizer is the Dynamite Cauliflower. In fact, I like it so much that sometimes I order it as my entire meal. It's that good! And fair warning--I don't like sharing it because I want every bite for myself. Everything I've tried has been flavorful and well-prepared, and the staff always makes us feel welcome. Get ready to wait for a long time for your food. We ordered a normal amount of food and it took 45 minutes for APPETIZERS! Also the restaurant only had 5 small tables full of customers. Most of the tables had two people at each table. Although the food looked VERY appetizing it was pretty average and did not taste very good. It was our first time here. We definitely wanted to come by and try it out. It's closer to us than most places. The restaurant is very spacious and has a lot of room for big groups. Stopped in on a Wednesday evening and we were greeted and seated right away. The place was pretty empty except for one other table. It's a nice, modern, clean space. Our server was very friendly and checked on us regularly. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it came with a big fluffy bowl of rice. It was really really good! My husband got a paneer butter masala which looked similar to mine but I thought his sauce was a little sweeter than mine and maybe a bit creamier but I still liked mine more. We both ordered ours mild thanks to our server's advice. Mild still had a nice kick to it so I'm glad we didn't get medium or hot! Unfortunately they were fresh out of mango lassis so we ordered a rose milk to try. It was kind of like not too sweet strawberry milk with a faint taste of rose - pretty good! We also ordered a garlic naan and it was definitely big enough to share and was tender, garlicky goodness . Portion sizes were good in my opinion. I want to start and say the food was good but this is the only compliment I can give. I won't be coming back because of the following: - Ordered online for pickup. Arrived to pick up food to find 30% of the items paid for are not available. No message was left and now half the family cannot be fed. The online page should reflect the inventory rather than have the customer show up expected to wait another 30mins for in stock food. - Was told I would be refunded missing items from above. Never was refunded and I had to escalate customer support to get money back. This could have been a mistake...but it also could have been done purposely hoping I wouldn't notice. - The online order seems to consist of half order portions with full order prices. I cannot testify to the sit down portions. - All this happened a week after a health red tag closure. I expect a restaurant that failed health inspections (multiple times) would be operating 100% to attract customers. So food was good but experience was poor. I won't be returning. read more

I love the butter chicken and chicken lollipop here. Very similar in taste and quality to the east side location. I would say the east side is bit better in terms of feeling comfortable in the restaurant. This westside location is a little cold when it's cold outside. Service in person is usually great. I've called services times and only 20% of the time a person answers. One thing I wish they did is being able to choose the level of spice through mobile ordering apps - this is the main reason I have to call. Overall, great! read more

We tried several dishes and everything was delicious. The Shahi chicken korma was my favorite -- savory, creamy without being heavy, and so comforting. The butter chicken was also very good. The chicken tikka masala was sweeter and creamier than I expected (just not my personal preference), but still well made. I also really enjoyed the masala popcorn chicken -- super crunchy with a nice kick. I don't usually eat spicy food, but my friend Dani trained me well . The restaurant itself was clean, cozy, and modern, with a really comforting atmosphere. The service was excellent -- everyone was friendly and very helpful. I called ahead of time for my takeout order and was eagerly excited after hearing the great reviews. I ordered the chicken puvlav and it was delicious. I ordered the family pack and it is definitely enough for 3 people. When I opened the container the aromatic jasmine rice was divine. I ordered the mild one and boy was it hot! So be warned if you're sensitive to heat like me. I can't wait to go back and explore their other dishes especially to dine in. The place is modern, clean, and lovely. Ordered both the Lamb & Chicken Tikka Marsala with Garlic Naan & sodas. The sodas came in cans vs fountain. Food was excellent with a little heat - comfortably so. Like I mentioned earlier service/food was slower than normal especially since there were 8-10 tables with customers. They've only been open for 3 weeks. The location is new and things are still getting worked out. The food was fantastic. We ordered a dosa, samosa chat and tikka byriani; everything was so flavorful. We ended up taking most of the byriani home and it was just as good as leftovers. Our bill was under $50 which felt reasonable for the quality and quantity. The ambience is a little stark at this point but very comfortable overall. There seemed to be only 3 people working so it seemed like even the cook was bringing food out. Confusing overpriced menu. The menu shows one price but under closer inspection it adds and additional price for the very items listed in the particular meal. Once you start adding these additional costs a meal there can become very pricey. It almost feel like you're being scammed by design. read more

The waitress was great, always checking up on us, making sure everything was good. Our food came out pretty quickly and was amazing, we sat inside for about an hour and they had the A/C running, the lighting was good, not too bright. There was some nice ambient music playing lightly in the background which was relaxing. There wasn't a lot of people inside but that was okay, it was a lot more relaxing. The food is excellent, but...we have only gone 2x and both x they brought out all my food, before my husband's and I had to eventually start eating, ofc sharing with Mikey, but they bring out the naan well at the end of the meal this x, but only bc we had to remind 2x. We were really patient and the young lady there is really nice, as she is sweet in explaining, but still lacks in getting the food out when she says she will... I mean the chef was also seating people... It's clear they are trying to run the business without having to hire anyone, and the food is excellent, so, if they can just get down when to take out the apps, bread and the entrees, even if it takes a minute, would be better customer service. When we told her yesterday was only our 2nd x there, she should have asked what she could do for us...she just joked around that they were making our food extra special, but c'mon. Ordered takeout from here last night. They are the same folks that used to run Bawarchi in NE heights now rebranded as Royal Hyderabad. If you like your food frozen and transported from Texas then I guess go there and spend an obscene amount of money for frozen pre cooked food. That meal was probably the best meal I'd had in a few weeks! They were also really patient with me and my friends, since we were taking a long time to order(they have a big menu, and everything sounded delicious. Two of us had never had Indian food before, so it took a while to go through the online menu and see what everything was), and the atmosphere was very calming. I felt welcomed there, and while we were eating, they checked up on us every once in a while, which was nice. Everything was well cooked, and was really delicious with lots of flavors. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Tip for those wanting a peaceful meal with less people: Friday and Saturday nights are busy, so going on any other day that they are open should have less people. This is a little gem tucked in to the shopping area behind CVS on Unser/McMahon. We'd been wanting to try it ever since we saw it being built and finally tried it tonight. The food was so tasty . . . .the service impecccable and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A plus for me is that it wasn't freezing there . . . I did not need a wrap. Now to the food. . . . I had the butter chicken, which is one of my favorite Indian dishes, and this might have been the best I've ever tasted. My husband had the goat dish, which he said was delicious. We had some butter Naan and enjoyed it with our dishes . . . it was very handy to dip into the very tasty sauces with each meal. Servings were huge. . . . I brought home enough for at least 2, and may 3 more meals. My husband will get at least one more meal out of his left-overs. Some diners at another table had what looked like a very good drink, so I asked our waitress what it was. I can't remember its name, but it's a yogurt/mango drink.
