    Here is my review for Empire Toyota…read more Empire Toyota was our second choice for a dealership. I found what I thought was a great deal at New Country Toyota of Saratoga Springs N.Y. so we my husband and I went there. The salesman was rude, and had this I don't really need this sale kind of vibe. Went for a test drive and put money down $500 that we were told by John Kirkwood our salesman would be returned to us in 48 hours. I went up the next day to finish the paper work, (this is a 2.5 hour trip from our house) and waited almost an hour to meet with the finance manager. My appointment was at 1:30 and he finally met with me at 2:20. Long story short we wanted to cancel the deal by Friday, not happy at all with this dealership. I had to go through Toyota's customer complaint department to have them talk to the dealership on my behalf. We will not get our $627.00 until next week which will be about 3 weeks from the cancellation day! Unacceptable!!!! Yesterday I met with Travis a salesman for Empire Toyota who was very friendly, and not the least bit pushy. I had been in touch with his finance manager Steve Martin during the last 2 weeks to try and get out of my contract with New Country Toyota. By purchasing my new car at Empire I saved almost $2500.00 !!!! for a similar car minus the moon/sun roof. Very happy with this dealership!!!! I hopeful that during the lifetime of our car we will continue to have a great rapport with Empire Toyota of Oneonta, NY.

I needed to change the time due to an unexpected scheduling conflict. I was told to come in 8:30 am and the place had very few customers ahead of me. An hour plus later the waiting area had filled with people and they still hadn't started servicing my car. I was already running late. I took my car elsewhere and will not return.

    Today might not have been the rudest, worst customer service experience I ever had but it was the…read moreworst I ever remember having. Look at the number of one star reviews this place has & that tells the story. As others have said I only left one star because the system won't let me leave less. First I had to wait 2 weeks to take my snow blower in. I assumed that meant they were very busy but when I got there mine was the only machine in sight. They said they'd call when it was ready. Iwaited 2 weeks & called them. Was tole "It's ready". Nothing more. I was sent to them by the manufacturer for a warranty repair. When I got there they tried to charge me $146. I said it's under warranty & they said they couldn't check that even though they are an Ariens dealer. Said I'd need to bring in my receipt. Never mentioned that on the phone or when I dropped the machine off. I live 30 miles away. Also the kid at the counter didn't know enough to get up when a customer came in & never stopped staring at his phone.

Got it home and mowed half the lawn and it broke, we've had the mower for 5 years and never had a problem! Belt came off, no big deal again it's been 5 years so we probably needed a new one. Take it back to get it replaced, get it home and mow 4 strips before it breaks again... I call unhappy and the lady answering the phone says well I was going to tell you the spring fell off so we replaced it with one from a hardware store... Mind you the spring was half the size that they put on! Take it back AGAIN and mow 1.5 times this time and it breaks yet again... spark plugs were never replaced, air filter was never replaced, nuts were missing from bolts. Needless to say we will never do business through these people ever again nor do we recommend them to anyone! Poor service, poor communication and clearly poor diagnostic!
