He removed the roots carefully, paid close attention to detail, and surprised us by applying weed killer between the pavers and shrubs. Our family was impressed. For the 2nd visit in March 2026, unfortunately the company did not meet the same standard. We communicated via the same number, so they were aware of that we were interested in the same work as before last year (weed removing, trimming of tree shrub) This time, a different employee (H.H.), performed the work. He trimmed the trees and shrubs a bit more quickly than Francisco did, which was not an issue in itself. However, he didn't remove the overgrown roots, but rather just trimmed them, which caused the plants to grow back much faster than before. He also didn't apply any weed killer. After we paid via Zelle, we noticed that our 24-hr security sign had been snapped in half and left on the same spot it was planted. No shrubs were around that area. The employee didn't mention to us at all, but when we asked him what happened, he initially said he didn't know. Only after we saw pictures showing that the sign was intact, he apologized. Additionally, another blue security sign next to our AT&T fiber box was missing. The sign had been in place for months and was clearly visible from the driveway since the shrubs didn't fully cover it. The worker claimed he never saw it. We understand accidents can happen, but the lack of communication and transparency is unfortunate. We are likely moving on to another company.

My big issue was with punctuality. I was given a window of 7-8 AM, so I planned my morning around that. By 8:30, no one had shown up and I hadn't heard anything, so I had to reach out myself to find out what was going on. It turned out the crew didn't actually arrive until 12:30 PM -- nearly 5 hours after the promised window, with no proactive communication in between. If you book with them, I'd recommend padding in extra flexibility for the arrival time, or asking for updates throughout the morning.

Which was an irrigation system, sod, rock, and some type of barrier along our chain link fence so the rock didn't escape. My husband called and told him, he was good to go, and that following Tuesday Randy showed up with his crew. On Tuesday, they did the irrigation system and completed it within a half of a day so they continued on and laid down the rock. Since they were on schedule, they said they would be back Thursday, which they were, and knocked out the curbing and even provided us with different styles of concrete curbing that could be poured. We went with a slant style curbing and he told us since there had to be a gap between the fence and the concrete we had enough rock to fill it in which was perfect. On Friday, they came back and finished up and I am already in love with my new back yard! I requested my deposit back. & Thank God I did! I found out he was double charging me. The same Palm trees he was charging me $845 each for, I found for $350 each! Look at how much I saved on 7 Palm Trees ($3,465)! I'm able to purchase 7 more not going through him! Oh and get this... he told me the price of the trees went up because he quoted me 90 days before I decided to move forward. Be careful people or ladies at least. Not sure if he would even try this behavior with a man. He starts out as a nice and reasonable person and then everything slowly begins to change with his professionalism and attitude towards customer satisfaction and the work to be done, If you don't allow him to do what he wants. I will say the first job I hired him for, he did do a lot of concrete for me and I thought it was a decent job until it started cracking in less than 6 months. I also noticed how my concrete had dips in it and he started explaining it was done like that for the rain to flow in direction of my drain, but the water drains in the opposite direction of my drain. Just a headache overall. Oh yea, and I requested rebar in my concrete and he did not do it. By the time I noticed it was too late. He just was saying it's not necessary and would be more expensive. If I ask for something, he shouldn't be determining my finances for me. I can decide if I want or not, but quote me on what I'm asking for. I just feel like I was ripped off completely especially after realizing the way he was over-charging on the Palm Trees. I wonder how much cheaper I could have got my concrete done. This was a headache from beginning to end. When we put down our deposit Rafael told us it would…read morebe up to 6 weeks before he could start the job because they were so booked. It was 3 months. In the meantime, he was constantly trying to talk us out of what we wanted, and when he finally did the work he went ahead and did what he wanted, whether we had agreed to it or not. The only thing we actually got as we wanted was the color of the rocks. The job they did was rushed and shoddy. The weed barrier doesn't block weeds, but it does block the water from hitting the soil around our plants so that our concrete walkway is being watered instead. Our plants are dead or dying, several of them are plants we specifically told him we do not want in the first place, and there is a leak which we have called them out twice to fix but has not been corrected. Additionally, they actually did less work than we paid them for, but he somehow feels justified in asking us for even more money on top of that. I won't work with this company again and I wouldn't recommend  them to anyone. Update: They did refund the money we overpaid.
