    Cut up thumb

    I went here with my girlfriend and she was getting a fill-in while I got a regular manicure with a design on two nails. The lady working on me was rushing and shaking and while she was cleaning up my cuticles, she dug too deep into my thumb and cut a piece of my thumb! I'm sitting there bleeding, no band-aid nothing she just put my hand back into the water. After she finished which the design didn't look anything like what me and my girlfriend wanted. I asked for a band-aid and they just kinda shrugged it off like I was tripping! Got home, put on a band-aid and went to take it off and some of the gel came off my thumb with it as well so that was nice too. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. This picture is two days healed after she decided to dice my thumb like onion.

    Quality in service has definitely gone downhill since the remodel... seems like Sandy doesn't care about customer service. I walked in... she did not even look at me and she was standing behind the counter.... Mimi... who was doing someone else nails asked me what I needed and then Sandy proceeded to try and ask... they fanned me to one area to go to Hellen... Hellen was attentive but she did make my skin bleed on my left middle toe, she did not notice until she started scrubbing. I noticed when I saw blood. She avoided scrubbing it with the brush but could not avoid it when she sprayed the alcohol/antiseptic at the end.... Next, I went to Sandy to get my eyebrows done and she was more interested in her Asian Novella than doing my eyebrows. One has an arch and the other does not... literally looks like one eyebrow is up and the other is down.... She didn't even want to give me a mirror when she was done... she was like alright bye.. until I was searching around for a mirror then she handed it to me... she knew she messed up... she did not take her time or even ask how my day was.... Sad... she is losing a lot of customers.

    I came from out of state for a wedding. The makeup lady cancelled on us last minute. We scrambled to find someone else to do our makeup. We were not successful in finding someone else. I was annoyed and devastated. But we were able to get some eyelash extensions done last minute by the owner of the salon. With our eyelashes done, we didn't need to worry too much about the rest of our makeup. It's now Tuesday and these lashes are not going anywhere. They are definitely on there. I haven't lost any of them yet. The owner put them on quickly but thoroughly. She really took her time making sure it looked good on the three of us but did a great job with efficiency. She wasn't happy with mine and added even more on to make sure they met her satisfaction and standards. We didn't get our nails done here, so I don't have any comments on that. The salon is clean and pretty. Restroom is clean. There are signs up asking you to limit how many people you bring in who are not receiving services from them. Lots of parking. They are closed on Sundays. I would highly recommend getting eyelashes done by the owner.

    Ive been in Cola since August and this is the first place I've gotten my nails done and will be the only place! They did such an amazing job on my nails! The tech was a perfectionist, he left no bubbles bumps or streaks. Best part is they were reasonably priced! I am definitely a regular customer now!! BTW I got Gel Coffin Nails w Mood Polish

    My daughter and I went here for the 1st time Thursday New Year's Eve 2020. When we arrived at 10:30 it was crowded, but we were seated immediately. (2 pedicures ,1 fullest, 1 fill in we both got gel polish on our feet/nails). The pedicure was basic, nothing to expand on. I choose an iridescent color for my toes which required black polish as the base and the iridescent color on top. Well you can see the black polish around the edges of my toes and it just doesn't look good. I choose the same style polish/different color for my hands and that turned out better. I had a different tech on my nails and I had to tell this technician not to reshape my nails. I didn't ask to have them reshaped from almond to round. When we finally left at 1:15, it was still crowded and we noticed several people still receiving services and they were there when we arrived. While paying for the services I expressed my dislike for the toe nail polish. I told them due to the time I would come back for a color change. Later that evening while eating dinner I felt something funny on my nails. Welp the polish started peeling off one of the nails . Seriously the same day! So, New Year's Day 2021 I return to the shop to change the toenail polish and fix the nail polish. I explained my situation to the lady who greets you upon your arrival. I signed in and told her I'd like the polish changed on my feet and correct the polish on my hand. She says they may replace your polish. May??? I'm asked to take a seat and I wait for over 45 mins (completely outrageous). The nail technician immediately remembered me from the day before and he remembered I was returning to change the color on my toes. When I showed him my nails and asked how this could happen in less then 24hrs - all of a sudden he could not understand me or the English I was speaking. The lady explained to him in his language to fix one nail. I asked is there something wrong with the polish. He didn't understand that question either. I'm completely frustrated by this time I remind him about changing my toe polish. Miraculously he's able to say in English - you will have to wait we're busy and short staffed. Can you believe that! I responded- I've already waited close to an hour for you to do one nail and I made it clear when I came in what services I wanted. I should not have to wait any longer for a polish change! Again all of a sudden my English is not comprehensive, go figure Needless to say I WILL NEVER RETURN. They are pricey for mediocre service. I'll take my money some place else with better service all around. Some places you would give a 2nd chance, this is not one of them for me. Save yourself the aggravation, time and your money!

    Terrible terrible experience, I usually go to the same nail salon every time but stoped by royal nails because it was convenient and I was in the area. The services were terrible my nails weren't done correctly and looked like a five year old did them. I left immediately and had to go to another salon to have them redone completely. Absolutely ridiculous I don't know how this salon is still in business I left in complete shock. Do not go here and waste your money like I did

This review is about the atrocious customer service and lack of professionalism and class the owner possesses. I'd like to preempt this by saying I was threatened by her when I informed her that I would write this review, (see her last post). If you support businesses that treat their clientele like dirt, I highly suggest you visit Think Blink. I was running a bit late to my appointment today due to an Uber screw-up. For the record, I have never been late, in fact I've always been early. When I made my very first appointment at the salon I was never sent a confirmation. When I called the day before to confirm, I was told that the owner was in the hospital indefinitely, messing not only with my daily schedule but also with my eyelash schedule. Fast forward to today, my brand new nail technician was finishing up my manicure when I realized the time, she sent Think Blink a text (at 5:25) letting them know we were running late and that it wasn't a problem to reschedule at all. My appointment was scheduled for 5:15. As you can see in the attached photos, I received a reply saying I would have to reschedule because they had other clients and that I would have to pay full price for today's service (which I never received) before they would book the next service. (I was never informed of any of their policies) As soon as my nails were done, I ran three doors down to let them know that I found their cancellation policy to be absolutely ridiculous -only to find the salon- lights out and doors locked (no other clients in sight)....hmmmm. I went back to the nail salon to wait for my Uber and left a message to Think Blink letting them know how I felt about their policy and that I would not be using their services anymore. Less than two minutes later, the frantic owner of Think Blink burst into the nail salon, demanding that I speak with her back at her salon; making a scene which everyone around me found completely crass. When I refused to accompany her back to Think Blink, the owner harassed me with phone calls over and over, using words such as, "you better listen" and speaking to me as if I were a child. Below this review please see the screenshots I could fit of the text messages between myself and this horrible beast. Not only did she embarrass me in my nail salon, but she mistreated a client, which is against the rules of professionalism. I'm from NYC and have spent my life in the top salons in NY, London, Miami, and LA. I have NEVER seen such behavior from a business owner. Side note: I am a 20%+ tipper and always have been. I have listened to the owner trash talk her other clients before they arrive and after they depart when she thought I wasn't listening. Does she do lashes well? Yeah, she's alright. But the overall feeling in that salon is pure negativity -despite the pink flamingo decor and chocolates, an obvious diversion tactic to keep the clientele's attention off of the trash talking, negligent behavior of the staff. Anyone who gets eyelash extensions knows this is not an inexpensive service and deserves to be treated with a smile and respect when choosing a salon. You will find neither at Think Blink. Don't put a penny into this business when there are many better ones in the area. Obviously this owner was never taught the phrase, "the customer is always right."

They treat every client very special from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave. Its more like an experience than a service. That's probably why she's fully booked. Its unfortunate that a clearly unstable person could be so hateful and nasty to leave such an ugly review for this wonderful Business. Its very clear the girl can't keep her story straight or show up for her appointment on time. It's clear she doesn't want to pay the fee for not showing up for her appointment to the point of slandering a Professional businesswoman shame on her for that. i have been to salons all over the world not just the United States and I can say Think Blink is one of the best and all their policies are pretty much the same if you don't show up or Extremely late going to pay a fee. Their time is valuable too SOME PEOPLE just don't understand it!
