I love this place. The staff is always friendly and great to work with. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment. You might have to wait a short time if you're just walking in. I usually get a dip manicure from here and always have great results that last ~3 weeks. I recently did a trial for my wedding nails and asked for an ombre effect. Anna completed my request flawlessly! She actually used the acrylic nail powder on my actual nails and I love the way it turned out. Would definitely recommend! read more

This is my favorite nail salon in cola. I've been to at least five and gotten some form of acrylic or dip nails at each. This place, however, pays supreme attention to detail. Staff is nice and my nails are always perfect and comfortable. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I had an appointment and they made me wait 2 hours. The lady was doing my nails and 2 others at the same time. She was rushing my nails and did these in 5 minutes. They are so messy and charged me $75 for these. They are uneven and the paint is a mess. Go to Gervais Nails. Whatever you do I would NEVER COME HERE again. They were so rude when i tried telling them what was wrong. Save your time and money and don't come here read more

This is one of the best nail experiences I have ever had! Anna did a fantastic job with both me and my friend's nails. We had designs in mind coming in, which can be tricky sometimes, but she was more than willing to make sure we loved our final results. Over the phone. I was quoted $50 for gel mani and pedi but when I got there they said $60. The worst mani I have ever got. I could do a better job myself. I left a tip because the pedi was good. Sloppy, took forever, and as you can see by the pictures just very unprofessional. The product must be so old because it doesn't even look like what the bottle shows. I will never go back. read more

After moving to Columbia in May, I was looking for a nail place where I could get my frequent shellac manicures. After a few not so great experiences, I stumbled upon USC nails and I now go there every two weeks or so to get my nails done. Since I struggled a bit in finding a place I wanted to share my review to help other newcomers find this place! The shellac manicures are very well done. They have a wide variety of colors, OPI, gelish, etc. For regular polish they also have a ton of Essie colors. I have not tried a French shellac yet, but will try and revisit my review once I have tried that out. I have had several manicurists throughout my visits, but I can say hands down that Tim is the best. I haven't been normally requesting a specific person, since I like everyone, but when Tim does my nails I know it is going to be great! Also got a spa pedicure for the first time and they did a great job as well. I super super appreciate how clean and hygienic everything is. They also have complimentary water, soda, and wine. Prices are very reasonable. $30 for a shellac manicure, $30 for a spa pedicure. They do accept credit cards, and you can tip on your card. read more

Went here for a gel mani pedi. Was $80 total and the student discount is $2 (not much of a discount but okay). Absolutely loved the color. It's my new favorite. I went with two friends and we were all very impressed. Everyone was nice and friendly and very helpful. Three days later I chipped my index finger after trying to quickly shave. I went in and the repair was done quickly and at no charge. Pictures are from after the repair so you can see my nails still look great. They have complimentary drinks including wine and are very accommodating. Would most definitely recommend. read more

They do a great job. Sure it's a "fast food" type salon but they are open late, consistent with quality and service and open on weekends. And all without the high price of other salons. The nail tech didn't really speak much to me, bonus. She did her job. Wasn't speaking another language to anyone. Wasn't on her phone. Loved that. She listened to me. Didn't make my nails look thick and did the best job I've had in a long time. A month later, no nails broken or chipped. Incredible! Going in for a fill today! They had a movie on the tv that was engaging too, which was nice. Salon didn't reek of acrylic or nail polish remover. Just an overall great experience. read more

Just moved to Columbia and this will be my go to place! I got a standard mani/pedi and it was great. My guy was a little rough at first but I told him to be more gentle and then it was fine. The massage chairs are great, it was very relaxing. Both my hands and feet look great! I also got my eyebrows waxed and she did a fabulous job with that too. This place is very clean, they opened up a brand new set of tools to use for me. They have a large selection of colors and varying types of acrylics and gels. It was $40 for my mani/pedi and $10 for the eyebrow wax. read more

I went for waxing, a pedicure, and a gel mani. Typically I find things wrong and I have not found one thing wrong yet with the mani/ pedi. However, I HIGHLY advise AGAINST getting your eyebrows done. I typically take pride in my eyebrows and have received compliments in the past. Probably due to the fact I typically to go a certain spa, who has a wonderful esthetician. I decided to get my eyebrows waxed here, because I didn't want to drive 20 minutes away just to get them done. BIG mistake. My eyebrows are uneven, and my left side is way to thin. They aren't uniform and they look terrible. I am actually quite embarrassed and am hoping Latisse will work to fill them back in... QUICKLY. :( I wish I could go back in time. I hate my eyebrows. They. Look. Terrible. Words can't even describe how displeased I am. You can even see a tan line from where it was "over waxed". I know I sound like a drama queen, but come on... My eyebrows are on my face... And it is one of the first things people notice. read more

This place was horrible I went in and had one lady take my gel polish off but then another lady finished me off. She was in a rush because she had a regular waiting on her. So she shaped my nails bad they looked bumpy and uneven. I asked for three coats of polish she said no. Less than a week later all my acrylic gel polish is chipped and coming off. Never go here!!!!! read more

I went to this spa to get a simple acrylic nail. I was in the spa for a total of 2hrs and 30 min. I asked for a simple to line design on my ring finger. They were very confused a a little upset a wanted a design. The arcylic nails are fine if you want to be there for awhbut DO NOT ask for a design. read more

I've been looking for somewhere high quality to get my nails done in Columbia that isn't crazy expensive. I like the people at USC Nails but I don't know how I feel about my nails yet. The lady that did my nails cut me quite a few times with one of the tools which I'm not used to. I frequently get SNS (dip powder) done back home so I'm familiar with the process and how they should look. Since it is my first time here, I'm going to see how long they last before deciding whether to come back or not. They do look nice, but there were a few details things that could have been perfect. read more

After looking in this area I finally decided to go to this nail salon and I was not disappointed. The salon was big, spacious and very clean. It was pretty and had a great atmosphere. I made an appointment and waited about 5 minutes to be seen. I was a little taken back because I was expecting liquid gel nails but since it wasn't an option I got the powder gel. My gel nails look absolutely beautiful....perfect!! Jon did my nails and he was just amazing. I told him how I wanted my nails and perfection is what I got. I didn't have an appointment to get a pedicure but they took care of it anyways with no wait time. My pedicure was amazing, no rush and the guy that did my pedi was nice and friendly, very attentive. My foot massage was just what I expected...no rushing there either. The price of the gel fill was $30 but it's normally what I'm used to paying. The pedi was $55, a bit much but it was worth every penny in my opinion. I got gel nail polish and designs on all my toes so perhaps that's why it was that specific price. They also serve wine, water and other choices of drinks at no charge....that's a plus. I will definitely go back...my experience here and the quality of work was amazing!!!! read more

I have been coming here for almost 4 years as I attended USC and stayed in the area after for my job. I went in today and got a simple polish change on my toes and a regular mani WITH NO polish and was charged 30$. I felt that this is a bit overpriced for such basic services that I received, and have been to other places in the area and have paid far less. A little less than pleased with this place. read more

I've been here a handful of times and each visit is just kind of meh. Overall, the staff is friendly but last time I was in the salon was.. I don't want to be harsh but it was gross. Visible dust everywhere, dirty hand washing area, marks on the floor, half empty water bottles and candy wrappers at the nail dryer and in the waiting area, and a random pair of tennis shoes and dirty socks near the waiting area? It just felt very hard to relax in a cluttered, dirty space! On top of the clutter, I also felt my manicure was really rushed. The lady that did them left nail polish on my skin on several fingers, I had to ask her to fix it to which she seemed annoyed about. Pretty inexpensive but you're definitely not getting much for your money. 2.5 stars? Maybe 3? Meh see what I mean? read more

The results are usually pretty good, but it's heinously expensive. Although they are nice, I've gotten cut pretty bad here twice. The nail technician was looking up talking to someone else while buffing my toes and didn't realize she was buffing my skin on the sharp edge of the buffer rather than my actual nail. I then had to deal with her pouring rubbing alcohol and every other sort of liquid that stings in that cut. I paid $90 to be in pain for over an hour and have a gel mani pedi. Will not be returning. read more

Came here for a pedicure. The woman that did my feet wasn't that engaged in the process. She kept speaking to the other employees that were actually engaged with their own customers. Maybe she was the manager/owner. But they typically would give a better service. I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I wanted or offered anything to drink like other customers were. The pedicure was extremely fast so I assumed it was their "quick pedicure" yet I was charged the regular pedi for apparently getting the lotion massage. There was no massage, just lotion put on my feet. Felt rushed along and this was no where as enjoyable as I was needing/hoping. Next time I'm in town I won't be stopping here for a pedicure. read more

My friends and I made appointments to get our nails done at USC Nails on a Saturday afternoon. I waited over 35 minutes before leaving, as they still had not started on my nails. From what I could tell from speaking with other customers there, this is not unusual. To top it off, they didn't even acknowledge this was unprofessional and/or inconsiderate as I was leaving the salon. I will not be going back, and I would not recommend other customers waste their time going here. read more

THIS WAS THE WORST MANICURE I HAVE GOTTEN. I just went in to get my acrylics filled and the lady rushed through and left them uneven, chunky and all different lengths. It was absolutely awful and they look horrible. She burned me multiple times with the filer and did a poor job painting them. So angry I just spent $30 read more

I got a nice pretty blue to match the nails. After that was done, the same older gentleman asked my pedicure stylist if she had 30 minutes to quickly do my design. Crazy. Then he just told me to come back. He looked at the picture and told me it was too complicated and it would take him all day, as if I'm not paying him. So I got frustrated and went with French. As I'm getting my nails done, my morale is down because I'm not getting what I thought I was getting. After expressing I had blue toes and French tip nails, he expressed that it went well together instead of offering a solution. And he stated I wasn't communicating about my French style when I didn't want that in the first place. As I finished up, I told him I wasn't satisfied with my service and only finished because I got started and wasn't communicated with properly. A day before my cruise, and I am very disappointed. Please make sure they explain realistically what they can and can't do before you put your money into their business. Doesn't communicate well. Good for quick, last-minute fixes. Other than that, go to a nail tech or the other salon by Food Lion.

Service is friendly and you leave feeling like you got a new set of feet. I love their color options for gel pedis. It is a bit pricey but nowadays I think the prices here are probably just the norm. They go above and beyond and even offer water of wine during your service. I will continue to come back- from what I've gathered they've only been open the last few months and may have switched owners. Inside is spotless and off course they have the salon grade massage chairs when getting your pedi.

She was absolutely so kind, and truly took the time and energy to make sure my nails were absolutely perfect and everything I wanted for my special day! I got a spray tan from Victoria and she was just as amazing! She made sure to give me a run down on all the important spray tan info, since I am very inexperienced! They both told me to not hesitate to call them with any questions, or return the next morning before I departed if I had any issues.
