Last and final time at this salon. The owner/manager is awful. She was so rude to the poor girl who did my nails. She yelled at her for charging me incorrectly. I felt so bad. This isn't the first time I've noticed how rude she is. I quit going after she took my punch card and told me it didn't apply to my service, it was to give me a discount on a full set. Ive only ever done a plain manicure. I was in a pinch and thought I would give it one last try. I'm done. The girl who did my nails poked me more than once to the point I bled. Just no! Me and my friend went here a couple of weeks ago and I have just been to busy to write this review but I need to. We went in for 2 full sets. When we got there the girl at the desk went to go tell them what we wanted and the lady told her just do it your self and got upset with her. And we do feel as if the desk girl was very new to doing nails. My friend went to her she was the sweetest and the one reason they got at least one star when it should be 0. I got the owner who was rude and continued to walk away from me and was extremely extremely rough with my hands. She continues to cut me and nic my fingers with the tools. Made me bleed. It got to the point it hurt so bad I almost just said forgot it and paid for what she had done so far and left. She keep telling me to "relax" well it's a little hard to do that when you are hurting me. Then she tells me to go to the girl my friend had and made my friend move to her. SHE MADE HER BLEED TO! Then! After us both already haveing 2 nail girls we both got sent to another girl! So we left with very painfully hands that days later were still sore and blood on our fingers. I have been going to this nail salon because Anna was wonderful. Then she moved, went to Tiffany the owner, then David who they say retired. Tyra has done a pretty good job so I have stayed with them. I am going on vacation Wednesday so I made an appointment over a week ago to get a fill and a pedi at the last minute so it will be fresh the whole time. I walk in for my appointment at 12:30 and as I sign in someone says, "she took the day off for some reason". She said someone could get me in at 1:30. Well, I don't live close and that's about enough time to drive home, turn around and drive back. No one could call and let me know before I drove all of the way in??? I just walked out and I won't be back. I will miss you Tyra. Now it's a crap shoot if Glossy Nails will do a good job or not! I hate having to find new nail techs. read more

I figured I would give this place another chance, and was disappointed again. I had hoped the previous tech I wrote about was gone, and he was, but it's not any better there. Nail tech would say "I can do that" then when it was very obviously NOT what I wanted, I commented and got yelled at that I would "still have to pay for design" even if they covered it up. Just find anywhere else. They are still just as rude, unskilled and disrespectful as four years ago. They can do a basic acrylic set that you may have to file and adjust after you get home, but it will last two weeks and look decent if no one sees them up close. They don't even offer added services, like wax or cuticle trim. Come on!! read more

me and my family made a call to check in, they said they were open for the amount of people we had, 3 manicures and 1 pedicure we have been here an hour and a half. In that time only my sister in law got hers done wall my other sister and her friend sat in their luke warm water the rest of the time. we ended up leaving. terrible service read more

I would have recommended this place a couple months ago, but not anymore. I ask for some unique designs and instead of trying to figure out how to do them, the techs just complain about how hard it is to do and try to suggest other designs or colors. I make appointments and get told that I am late and can't be seen or other stupid excuses. I had to go to another place to have my last shellac/dip there fixed because they messed my nails up so bad. I'm very disappointed because I used to love this place. I found out recently that my tech has been talking crap about me to other patrons, which is extremely unprofessional and frustrating. If you're looking for good, respectful nail techs, go somewhere else!! They use outdated techniques and whine about anything more complicated than a simple shellac. Bye! read more

Went in at Christmas time as a walk-in. They squeezed me in which was nice. I had a dark haired Asian lady who was not in the least friendly. She talked to herself (or maybe to others, I couldn't say. She never looked up at anyone). I had her do a full acrylic set. Terrible job. They were all different shapes and jagged. I had to go home and reshape them. Come to find out later that she is an owner? Goes by the name of Tiffany. Went in for a pedicure this past weekend with relatives (by appointment). There were three of us. I got 'Tiffany' who was ~20 minutes late. The other two ladies were way ahead of me but 'Tiffany' caught up to them. She literally jabbered to herself or the other two techs the entire time. I took it as complaining. She was very unfriendly, yet again. She rushed through procedures, and did a very poor job. Very poor service. We walked in and wanted two pedicures. They said just a few minutes go ahead and so in the pedicure chairs. About 30 minutes went by and our feet weren't even soaking some came back and said it's bs another twenty minutes. We didn't want to wait an hour before getting our pedicure so we left. It would have been fine if we were advised that it was going to take an hour before our pedicures. They did have a large polish selection though. Just wish I would have gotten my pedicure. read more

I went here for a simple gel pedicure. When I arrived for my appointment, an older lady took me to my chair and didn't bother to run water in the basin. She went back to her nail station and looked at her notebook. She seemed irritated that she had to get up and get me set up for service. Then a younger lady came out from the back room to do my gel pedicure. She did an okay job. $55 for a basic gel pedicure is higher than other salons who charge $50. I'm used to excellent service in Texas, and, unfortunately, I have to say my experience at Royal nails was just not that great. Worst pedicure ever. Asked for a gel pedi. Charged me $45. Plus tip. She didn't tell me the cost, she just ran my credit card. Regular pedicure is $25. Usually gel pedicure is $10 more, so expected $35! Cut my toe nails way to short and crooked and just looked like a mess when the lady finished. I told her there's polish all over my skin, she said don't worry it will come off eventually. Super upsetting. read more

I have been coming to this salon for months and never had any problems till today. When I called to see if they would fix my nails they said it was basically my fault for getting a matte top coat and that I could come in to get them fixed at an extra charge and to never come back to their business. The man that works there is very nice and does great work but I will not be back! read more

I came in for a fill he told me i needed a full set. It took 3 hours. He ripped each nail off by putting a tip underneath it and running it across under the nail. It was awful. It hurt. Will not go back. He wouldnt talk and was pretty rude. Took so long i couldnt even get a toe polish change. Also all nails are crooked and the polish like bubbled up. They look awful! read more

My Mother, Sister & I had the worst experience here.Called ahead to see if they were busy. Told to come right in. Signed in, told 25 to 30 minutes wait. When we finally got seated at foot soaking tubs, we were left there for an hour and a half. Ice cold water and still no service. People were walking out because of the wait. My Sis finally got her pedicure. My Mom still sat with her cold water, her bare feet and no service. My sister was told to leave cause they needed the chair. If a customer was seated in her chair with wet feet they were less likely to get up and leave after 45 minutes of waiting as one woman just did. When my sister asked that our mother please be attended to, the woman who told her to move got extremely rude and was very rough with Mom and provided sub par service. No leg scrub, no massage. We will NEVER give them another dollar in business! read more

I have never had a worse experience getting a pedicure. They started and 20 min in - the technician left and went to start another person's pedicure a few chairs down. When I asked the male owner doing a pedicure next to me what was going on - he said she'd finish me after. I asked if that was their 'NORM' and he said we do teamwork. I told him I wasn't able to wait 20 min for her to return and where was the team. He got upset and called over a nail tech to paint my toes and told me I could then leave if I wanted - which I did. This is a very clean salon with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. It's always busy and while they gladly take walk-ins, there is usually a wait - so I try to make an appointment. I have been going here regularly for three years and have always been very satisfied with the service and quality of work. read more

On a work trip I stopped here as a walk-in with no appointment. They were very nice and greeted me right away. I was shown to a seat and they started working on my shellac manicure within a few minutes. The salon was clean and nicely decorated. The lady who did my nails was very friendly and talkative and spoke English well. I will come here again if I need a manicure and I am in Pueblo. Beware: they used dirty implements. Pumice stones that have been used on more than one person are a big no no because they can embed skin cells in the pumice that transfer skin and cannot be disinfected. As well as one of the nail techs removed a hang nail which caused my toenail to get infected within 24 hours of leaving the nail salon. read more

Requested full service deluxe pedicure and did not get all the services listed. Then with what they did do, they did it as fast as possible, with little lotion, and ass backwards. My toe nails and cuticles were not done until the end when my feet were dry and before my nail polish. Made disrespectful remarks about my legs and feet which is disturbing as a disabled veteran will not ever go here again. Worst experience ever. read more
