I cannot say enough wonderful things about the service I received from the folks at Royal Oaks. I was traveling from South Florida to Kansas City for my son's graduation, and had stopped overnight in Paducah. The next morning something was definitely wrong with my Tahoe, so I was directed to them, which thankfully was only about a mile away. They got me, my truck, and my dog, in immediately and took very good care. During the several hours I spent there, they were in constant communication with me, my husband, my insurance company, and there was nothing they wouldn't do for me to make sure I was provided for and comfortable. Come to find out the transmission was out, and they are currently working on it. They got me in a rental, the mechanics brought me lunch, and my dog was given the 5-star treatment as well! Bought a car from them cause I was without transport and desperate. Within 24 hours I saw issues and their response was basically "Tough luck." I try to bear it but it broke down fully 3 months after purchase. Manage to get them to do a full service on it for free, only for the same problem to have occurred repeatedly over two and a half years with them always finding a different problem to charge me for so it's not under warranty. Suprise it just happened again and they're refusing to take any fault for it. Now I'm locked in paying for a car I have driven less than I have walked in the last few years and I can't surrender it without fucking over my credit score to the point I'll never get a replacement car. The sales guys put on a good customer service front! Well the ones i dealt with anyways. I had to take my car back the next day because it looked like it had big circle swirls in it from being buffed. The detail guy told me it would take 5 hrs. They put me in a loaner. I got in the loaner and it had no gas. I originally went back because they messed my paperwork all up. I specifically told the guys I am a single mom and stubborn. I felt like i was on an episode of deal or no deal. I refused 3 offers and I told them i wanted to see all the sales gimics they were offering on paper. When I read into my paperwork of course after i signed. The 100.000 mile warranty wasn't on there. So, they tell me its in my paperwork. My paperwork was tossed between 3 people pointing fingers at each other on what had happened. They extended my loan 12 months more than what they were supposed to and when i called them out on it "that was my bad" was the response. I asked to speak to someone higher up and they said they dont answer calls. So, the car was marked up almost 7,000 dollars from what it was listed online. I viewed the car multiple times and came back to look several times and they had lost the key to it. Since purchasing it i have had 3 sales calls to buy a car. I have told them all their wires are all crossed over there. I was in a loaner from royal oaks while receiving a call to try to set me up an appt to buy a car. I took the car back twice to be cleaned, and they really hyped up the detail guys. I understand it has been on the lot and sitting with road construction up the road with dust ect. But, after 2 times of taking the car to be cleaned a floor mat was missing, there was a dirty foot print on the back driver floor and i hadnt even had anyone in the car. The windows were never cleaned on the car. They told me my tax title stuff would come off my trade and it wasnt. I was charged for it. The sweet lady danielle was like what can i do to make sure u leave happy. I can give u oil changes or car washes....well i already have those and technically i am paying for everything that was part of the sales gimic because the car was listed at something way lower than what they gave it to me for. My trade was on the lot cleaned for sale before i wasnt able to drive my new car happily. The car washes they offer suck. Its like a car wash from the 90s and if the detail guys were soo good. The windows would have been cleaned and the car would have not been dripping water when i came back to pick it up! i told the detail guy about the dirty foot print and he got a towel and cleaned it and again it was "my bad that was my fault". The payment wasnt what he quoted me, the trade wasnt what they told me, i left in a dirty car that was due for an oil change. If i could give a negative stars i would. I asked multiple sales guys how much they were asking for my trade and they wouldn't tell me. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! My car window was down and wouldn't go back up so I took it there for them to just push back up because a storm was coming in. After a couple days the window started to come down again and that's when I noticed a big chip out of the inside top edge. It looks like they used pliers to pull it up. So I called them and they said their mechanics would not do such a thing although it was not that way when I took it in. The general manager was incredibly rude and said his mechanics said they didn't do it and he had to back his "boys". He said he was ex military and could tell when people were lying and they were not. They refused to even look at it let alone fix it. He said they did me a favor by fixing it but I was charged $160. they would only give me half of that money back and said I should be thankful for that. Greeted by smiles and good service. The waiting is not bad due to the nice comfortable waiting room. There is coffee, water and snacks. TV and plug ins for charging your cell phone. They keep you updated on progress isle your service to vehicle. Friendly staff and they even ask if you would like a carwash after service is done. Very accommodating service department. TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Bought my car there through their sales department, had a wonderful experience. Purchased the extended warranty, confident that I would have the same experience with the service department. 1st oil change, i asked them to see if the cracked camera (bought it that way) would be covered under warranty. Charged me $90 to tell me it was not covered, no diagnostic was required. It was obviously a crack in the camera. Wouldn't let me have my car until they were paid. Then my oil plug was not replaced appropriately, allowing oil to leak out and all over my garage floor. I should have learned my lesson and not returned but because my warranty paid for my oil change, I returned once again. They were to change my oil, inspect the fluids and rotate my tires. During the tire rotation, they broke off one of the lug nut studs and came to tell me they were going to charge me $315 to fix the stud they had broken off during their service. They refused to fix their injury to my car and now I am forced to leave with an unsafe vehicle due to their mistakes. I am so disappointed and upset. I hope no one else has similar experiences and I hope they don't service their wives vehicles. read more

These people are sick, scamming assholes. I was promised several things that have not been carried through with. I was overcharged by at least $10,000. I was only showed cars that they would let me see never given an actual price on any of them. I realize now I should have ran in any other direction just because of that. They would not respect my wishes as I told them several time I wanted to go home to "sleep on it". Instead bc of my request, I was ganged up on by a couple of them, one (the sales manager) was rolling his eyes at my ignorance for not "jumping on this 'deal' even though I had informed them that the payment was way more than I could afford. I was told the one I got was out of gas so was only able to test drive around the parking lot. While still on the lot I tried to open the overhead compartment which was rigged in bc as soon as I hit the button the cover fell in my lap bc a piece was broken. They watched this happen and promised a new one as soon as they got with the parts dept and it was delivered...now they act as though they have no idea what I am talking about. A warning light was on which I was told was due to the low fuel level. I found out the actual reason why as soon as I drove off the parking lot. The car went into limp mode.I also couldn't roll the windows down. I told them about this right away and was told to bring it back and they would take care of it. I was also only given a third of what my trade in was worth supposedly due to several safety issues with it, (it did need a brake job and tune up but that's it). They said they were required by law to inspect and repair every issue on every vehicle that could potentially be a safety issue BEFORE it was put on the lot for sale. I am a single mother of 3 small children, but I suppose barely accelerating and reaching a max speed of 35mph on the interstate isn't a safety issue, bc they said their service dept inspected the vehicle and found absolutely nothing wrong with it. I was grateful that when I took it back the next day that they gave me a lender, although it is part of the dealership warranty that I am paying a FORTUNE for. I was also told it was still under manufacturers warranty but it just missed that as that warranty apparently ends at 50,000 miles and the car had 59,000 on it. So a month later, I am told the car is ready and I can pick it up. The invoice said it was a cracked oil pan. For my patience I am promised a full detail and tank of gas, neither of which I got..There was a control knob on the infotainment center missing that was there I dropped it off for service. Then to top it off 10 miles down the road the engine light came on again. so a "cracked oil pan"...3 days later it said low oil level and I've had to put oil in it twice. I can not use the CAR NET service which is complimentary for 1 year bc the car is still registered as a fleet service vehicle, which I was told was not the case at signing. The list goes on and on and I have only had the car for 6 weeks (4of which were at the service dept). i also noticed some dents and dings since I picked it up from service. The list goes on and on! THIS IS THE WORST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE! They bullied me into buying a car that I can't afford, then have to keep missing work to take it into service. I am scared to see what happens when it goes back to service in a couple weeks. Pray for me please! I have worked my butt off trying to get my babies a decent place to lay their head and a reliable car for me to transport them in and commute back and forth to work, but I made the mistake of stopping at Royal oaks Chevrolet in Paducah. Buyers Beware of this place, they define the definition of crooked car salesman. They make you feel all warm and cozy by acting like they really care, then once they see they have you, they move in like a snake and start to be deceiving. They have their inventory marked up $10k-$15k more than you would find at other dealership and their used cars are not of very good quality. They then charge these weird fees, and have you to sign ever form in the world under the sun. You can ask to take time to read them (and you should) but they give you a very brief run down what it is and keep demanding you keep signing papers. I recently had a car engine light come on my Chevy Colorado. The first time the service was questionable due to the length of time it took to diagnose the truck. Right after the car engine light came on again and they had my truck for five days, but got it fixed, thank God to car shield. If you don't have a car shield on your car or truck after warranty, you're a fool. They fixed my truck and I will say Andy was incredible and trying to keep in touch with me with what was going on Richard who was New did a really good job. I think the dealership has recognize they had some issues and are trying their best to make things better so I would give it a go if you have a Chevy of any kind to take it to them. read more

After contacting Mark Mitchell, Service Manager, I was able to explain and resolve the issue satisfactorily. Mr. Mitchell showed concern for my problems and was very cooperative. They lure you in with a flyer that you won $500, which it matches up on the flyer, but you get there and it's NO!, you won lottery tickets. What a scam. I should have known better. This dealership is full of professional scam artists. They'll tell you everything you want to hear in order to get you to purchase a car. That's fairly normal for most dealerships I believe; but the difference here is how much they charge you. I ended up paying $20,000 over the MSRP for my vehicle for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Every time I tried to look up the value of the car, the salesman would try to redirect me and say the market has changed or some bull crap. Even went as far as telling me that Kelly Bluebook was wrong and that I didn't have any reliable sources to compare prices with. I'm an absolute moron for listening to this salesman. I can't even describe through words just how much of a complete idiot this guy made me feel. They rushed me through the signing process and became upset any time I would read the contract too long or ask any questions. Looking back on it, it's obvious they were just trying to scam me. These people will jump through any hoop to ensure you get approved for the largest possible loan, then they'll unload their garbage onto you. I am desperately asking that you do not do any business with this dealer. Went to look at a 2018 Kia Sportage and after driving we wanted to talk about buying it. But before signing we had a question about one of the tires because in multiple spots the tires tread was lifting. The manager came in and had a attitude from the start and looked at us and said "I'm giving you this vehicle for pretty much whole sale" and "we inspect our vehicle well". When my husband showed him the issue he looked at my husband and said "if it was a safety issue I would have to fix it but this isn't a safety issue". After this we decided to take our business somewhere else. He was rude and disrespectful! We have very small children we have to worry about also. I didn't want anything taken off the price just wanted a simple tire fixed. But he put his pride in front of his customer service so he lost a deal. Plus it was listed for 17,500 and when he did the papers he made it 17,900. So I will never step foot in there again or buy a vehicle from them!! read more

I would give them no stars if that was an option. I went there to see if I would qualify to trade in my car. They ran my credit after I told them specifically not to until I was ready to buy a car. Then they lied to me and told me that it would not affect my credit report because it was a soft pull on my credit. They then try to make me sign a paper that stated I had given them permission to obtain my credit report. I did not sign that paperwork because I specifically told them not to run my credit. When I spoke to management they made excuses for their employees and their illegal actions. If someone runs your credit report without your permission it is illegal. read more

Im not sure what happened after the experience with the Cadillac , but we opted to get out of the Cadillac and back into a Chrysler 300 and Mark accomplished what we wanted , however the one they got us was covered in Blue overspray all over the car , we had to argue with Mark that it was covered in blue overspray , finally he agreed to take it to a body shop and they confirmed it was in fact blue paint. Most of the paint was removed but soon after it came a soft rain and I noticed there was still overspray on the windshield. Since the Cadillac it has been one thing after another , Mark turned to not answering our phone calls or text msgs , after telling us " here's my personal cell # call me anytime" then he put us in contact with Taylor , who was very helpful , but for whatever reason has also severed his employment with Royal Oaks. So lets go back , 1st we dealt with Robbie , he left to go to work at Chip Wynn's , then we were handed off to DOC also no longer working at Royal Oaks , then we dealt with Mark , he then handed us off to Taylor who is not at his own dealership and is very anxious to work with on a purchase of a truck , so It makes me wonder what is happening there. Bought a new car a 2013 Camaro. Paid sticker price with the expectation that I would not be given the "hard sell". The two salesman were great once I told them I did not want to purchase any "extras" and that I would pay the asking price with no haggling they immediately stopped and in fact did throw in some complimentary services. However, it seems that my wishes did not mean anything or that paying the full sticker price was enough for Royal Oaks Chevy once I was in Mr Bussey's office. After a whirlwind of talk and every little sales trick (he even threw in a "praise the lord") I had a extended warranty financed in my loan. I did review my contract and contacted him and I was told that he would remove it and credit it to my loan at Ally within 4 weeks (with a praise the lord). This never happened it is now going on 6 months. I have emailed with no reply. I have withheld submitting any surveys until it was clear that he had no intention of even attempting to fix this. I assume that one car is all Royal Oaks expect to sell a person because I will never buy purchase another from them. read more
