Used vehicle purchased on 12/26/25 & have 3 issues ON SAME DAY drive home: engine, tire, and…read moreelectronic. *Jason Miller informed me that they won't cover the repairs* I had been searching for the "right" Expedition for my family of 7 and came across several options. I chose the one at Coad Toyota based on the listed vehicle description, transparency of John (sales rep), and reputation of the dealership. This was to be a Merry Christmas present for our family! I flew down from Minneapolis and had a walk through of the vehicle. There were no issues with the vehicle, that I could see. I fully understand that a used vehicle is sold as-is, and based on the dealership reputation, I trusted the vehicle to be in perfect working condition based on their "Why buy at Coad" promise. I paid cash and drove back to Minneapolis. After leaving the dealership with my Expedition, I noticed 3 issues ON THAT SAME DAY: the brand new installed tires were the incorrect size, the engine began making a weird rattle and ticking noise (video attached), and the rear seat video screens were not working. Having come across these issues on the same day as purchased, I let my salesmen know and trusted all would be resolved. John took note of the issues and promised to work towards a resolution. The sales manager, Nicholas, confirmed that the wrong tires were installed (245 width instead of 285 width) and sent a check to cover the cost of replacement tires (Great!). Next up was the engine issue that literally started THE SAME DAY that I purchased the vehicle. I sent the video, paid to have a local Minneapolis Ford dealer inspect, and sent the findings (VCT Cam Phaser needs to be replaced). Nicholas reached back out after I sent the invoice and said that since the vehicle was sold as-is, the dealership will not cover any part of the repairs. Since the issues happened THE SAME DAY of purchase and the dealer's great reputation, I was surprised at the quick denial. This is a very serious engine issue. If left unrepaired, the engine will have a catastrophic failure and need to be replaced. On Coad's own dealership website, it answers the question of "Why buy at Coad". It states that all customers can enjoy peace of mind because ALL of THEIR USED VEHICLES have PASSED their Lifetime Warranty certification program. Obviously I trusted that my vehicle went through the same rigorous certification. Since the engine issue happened the SAME DAY, I expected that the dealership would stand behind their reputation and work towards a satisfactory resolution by doing the right thing. The final concern, the video screens not working, seemed trivial compared against the engine and tires, so I haven't even brought that up. I assumed that the oem factory installed rear seat entertainment system was working. I believed that that would have been another item that fell under their rigorous vehicle certification program. I have purchased several vehicles out of state from reputable dealers and have always had positive experiences. Unfortunately Jason Miller, General Manager, just let me know that it is just bad luck. They will not assist with this repair and will not escalate to their ownership. Don't believe their "Why buy from Coad" promise. *Response to Jason's reply... correct, at the dealership the vehicle did not make any noise nor did I notice the tires were the wrong size nor that the video screen screens weren't blinking on and off because I didn't sit in the backseat. That still doesn't take away the fact that the vehicle literally had engine problems on the SAME DAY that I drove back home from your dealership. For you to tell me that it's just bad luck, just speaks volumes to your integrity. I might as well purchased off Facebook Marketplace as that's the response I would expect from there.

The next morning something was definitely wrong with my Tahoe, so I was directed to them, which thankfully was only about a mile away. They got me, my truck, and my dog, in immediately and took very good care. During the several hours I spent there, they were in constant communication with me, my husband, my insurance company, and there was nothing they wouldn't do for me to make sure I was provided for and comfortable. Come to find out the transmission was out, and they are currently working on it. They got me in a rental, the mechanics brought me lunch, and my dog was given the 5-star treatment as well! Big thanks to Heather and Aaron for all they did to keep me calm, cool and collected. See you guys soon to pick it up on my way back south!

I try to bear it but it broke down fully 3 months after purchase. Manage to get them to do a full service on it for free, only for the same problem to have occurred repeatedly over two and a half years with them always finding a different problem to charge me for so it's not under warranty. Suprise it just happened again and they're refusing to take any fault for it. Now I'm locked in paying for a car I have driven less than I have walked in the last few years and I can't surrender it without fucking over my credit score to the point I'll never get a replacement car. Do not buy from them. They don't give a shit except to get your cash and their maintenance department are a bunch of incompetent scam artists.

They will take advantage and pressure you with expensive unnecessary maintenance. $87 for an oil filter and 5qts of oil. ( Expensive but not terribly unreasonable) $90 for a cabin air filter ( This one is truly rediculous. Its a 2-3 minutes task and a $10 filter.) $38 for a engine air filter ( less than a 2 minute task and a $15 filter) Both the cabin and engine air filters were changed 10k miles before they were scheduled due. " Recommend a engine decarbonization for $200" the vehicle has 20k miles. Even at 100k miles this would be unnnecessary overkill. Go to Plaza tire or a trusted local mechanic for your oil changes or general maintenance. The Ford Paducah dealership will overcharge you with a smile.

I want to share my experience so other buyers can be aware before purchasing from this dealership…read more In 2025 I purchased what was represented to me as a brand-new 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty Platinum from Paducah Ford. This was my first brand-new truck purchase, so naturally I expected transparency and honesty. Unfortunately, after the purchase I discovered evidence indicating the vehicle had sustained transport damage and had been repainted prior to being sold, which was never disclosed at the time of sale. Here are the key facts: * On May 14, 2025, an inspection at another local Ford dealership identified repainting and overspray on the vehicle. * On May 22, 2025, I discovered a handwritten notation on the rear driver-side window that read: "Transport Dmg - Jack Cooper Transport. Take to Shop." * When I contacted Paducah Ford about this, I was told there were no records of paintwork or damage. Since then, the responses I have received have minimized the issue and framed it as minor cosmetic "imperfections." However, the concern is not about cleaning or repainting something now. The concern is that a vehicle with prior damage and repair work appears to have been sold as new without disclosure. Instead of acknowledging the situation, the dealership has continued to characterize the matter as something that could simply be "fixed," which does not address the core issue. What should have been an exciting experience purchasing a new truck has instead been extremely stressful and disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers to think carefully before doing business with this dealership and to thoroughly inspect any vehicle for prior damage or repairs before completing a purchase.

When Bruce came outside, I asked him how negotiable the price was on a specific one and he said "it's not, the world isn't what it used to be" blah blah blah and we asked "so does this price INCLUDE tax, title and license?" And Bruce said "Yes." We then asked if there was still a warranty active on the vehicle to which Bruce said "It should still have the standard 5 year, 60,000 mile Nissan warranty with it." Cool, awesome. Fast forward to sitting down to purchase the vehicle, Bruce goes "WOW! This car actually COMES WITH a 100,000 mile power train warranty so you still have about 60,000 miles left on it" and I'm ecstatic obviously. Come Wednesday, August 25th, four days after purchasing the vehicle, my oil change light comes on so I pull out the paperwork to see if there was fine print about things like this because I'm annoyed that they didn't bother to change the oil and I had only driven it maybe 500 miles from the time of purchase, only to find out that Bruce lied directly to our face and charged us $1800 for that 100,000 mile warranty that he was raving about COMING WITH the vehicle. As well as charging me tax, tile and license fees. I called him on Wednesday, August 25th to express my concerns and see about returning the vehicle because it was a very shady and unprofessional experience. I called the office landline number, he says he has to call me back which he proceeds to call me from his cellphone, I can only imagine because he needed to step away so no one could hear how he was going to address the situation. & proceeds to tell me "I don't care what you do with the warranty you can cancel it or keep it, it doesn't matter to me but you're not returning the car" I said I needed to speak to the manager and he said "call away, call whoever you want, I don't care, you're keeping that car". He never once apologized or showed remorse or anything to rectify the situation or compensate for screwing me out of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. Sure, I should have triple checked the paperwork but I never once thought I was being lied straight to my face while asking these questions. I wanted a Nissan vehicle so I came to a Nissan dealership, expecting professional and honest service which was the absolute opposite of what I received. If I wanted to get the run around, I would have went to a back alley sketchy car lot. This was a stereotypical sleazy car salesman sale. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.
