Worst car wash ever!! Please NEVER take your vehicle to this place. I dropped off my car at 8:07am for the Complete Interior and Exterior Detail (the most expensive option). That service was supposed to take 6-7 hours. I returned to the car wash after 6.5 hrs and they ONLY vacuumed and started working on the seats. ZERO work completed on the outside and interior windows weren't cleaned. The manager is incredibly bad at customer service and will go back on what he says. In fact, told me it was going to be zero charge but then charged me $40 for doing the seats. Held my car as hostage. I should have called the police. Anyway, just NEVER EVER EVER go to this place. Drive Thru Car wash $12 Gold wash was ok; we also ordered an upgrade for interior cleaning $11 add on. Detailing area is very loud with lots of horn honking, wait inside. Seemed to have a moderate staffing level for a Monday at lunchtime. Waited over an hour for interior cleaning but prices were reasonable. Staff was polite. Seemed like they could have gotten more cars thru if they were more organized. One guy wandered around while the rest of them were working hard. Car looked nice when finished, if you have the time, $23 plus tip is a great value for the service provided. read more

Great car wash! Decent prices (went here 7/15 and think they've recently gone up a bit) - they pre-scrub with brush and soap, which I think is a big plus. They offer detailing at varying levels, from an $11 add on that takes care of vacuuming, door jambs, windows, and dash to a full out deluxe inside and out cleaning. Any car wash gets you the use of vacuums for free for as long as you need them - no need to rush and clean via timer because your $2 only lasts 4 minutes :). This was my first time at Royal Palm being new to the area. I decided to spring for the 21 dollar extra for the full detail. When me and my 3 year old got out I asked if I needed to take the car seat out so they could get under my back seats. They said they would take it out no problem. I sat inside and watched as they went around the car seat wondering when they were going to take it out. I again asked the lady manager inside if I they would take it out and she said absolutely. Next thing I know the young gentleman came in and said my car was done when I know he didn't take the seat out. When I mentioned this to him he said that they don't take the seats out and we have to do that??? Very frustrating. Once I got the seat out I noticed multiple spots not clean and the trunk hadn't even been touched?! I waited while they finished up and I was apologized to multiple times but once they said it was all done there was still spots and crumbs and such everywhere. Bought a $14.00 wash and tipped an additional $4.00 to the pre wash employee, the hood on my vehicle still has bug guts, the "spot free rinse" still left spots all over my windows and there is still brake dust on my rims. This Facility has unfortunately turned into another Sham of a car wash, inadequate upkeep of nozzles causing unequal dispersion of wash chemicals and in an effort to get as many cars through as fast as possible They have reduced the abrasion time in wash hence the big guys still left. read more

This is now Sum & Suds. when it was Royal Palm, I would get a great wash , hand dried and interior vac etc., for $20.00. Went there today and did not notice change of owners when I drive up to the kiosk. Paid $20 as I always did before but found out later that this was foe exterior wash and no more guys doing the inside. totally pissed as this is now a comply rip off. First, I cannot say enough good things about the staff attitude ( all from the on-site manager to the lowest wipe-down person). Courteous, helpful, accommodating. That being said, The end product was way below standard. I got the exterior detail and clay magic. Fine for the painted surfaces ( though there was a lot of residue left in the cracks and crevasses) but they couldn't seem to do anything with the chrome plated plastic trim. Went back over it twice, still didn't get it. Took the car home and touched it up myself. This is not a "beater" car. It is kept garaged out of the sun and elements. So it gets two stars for the wash, but the detail is way below par - but then again you can get a wash anywhere. read more

We just needed a place for a quick wash and vacuum before we returned our grandmother's car. We paid $5 for the basic wash which came with the access to the vacuums for free. AVOID!!! This is the second review reporting damage by this wash! 1 star for their creative dodging of customer service. I took my husband's 2005 Dodge Ram SRT10 with 80k miles here for a full detail. (I take my company car here monthly for a full detail- no more!) The wash ripped the permanent antenna out of the body of the truck. There was noticeable damage pointed out to me by the detail team. The manager wrote a full report which he lied on and said my vehicle was not escorting into the wash (every vehicle is escorted into the wash). He took copies of my license and registration. Told me the lead manager would call me. Never happened. My husband went by 3 more times and was given the run around. Finally caught both of the managers on duty today. They are not going to do a thing! They gave him one free detail for the truck. The manager said that's his "olive branch". He said the video is inconclusive and he's unable to tell if anything happened specifically in their car wash, or if it was pre-existing and due to the age of the vehicle. He said, "This is all I can offer you". My husband asked, "Are you calling me a liar?" He said "I'm done talking to you" and walked away! I will be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I took my truck for a wash and the machine ripped the antenna out from the body of the truck (keep in mind they guide you into the wash). An incident report was filed by the supervisor for the Manager to review and respond to. The manager never followed up once in a months time! First I went there in person (saw a stack of other incident reports that had been filled out in their office) and they made a copy of my report because they couldn't seem to find the original... After this there was no follow up, so I left multiple messages with whomever answered the phone -all to no avail. Finally today I returned again and caught the GM. His name is Steve DuBois. I told him about them continually dodging me yet he had no response. He left me in the lobby while he supposedly reviewed the footage with an associate named Adrian. I highly doubt that they looked at all. He came out with one of his biggest guys to act as muscle while he told me that the footage was inconclusive and due to the age of my vehicle (2005) the damage may have been pre existing (insinuating I made the incident up). His solution was to offer me 1 full detail as long as I called ahead to schedule. Why he would think I'd ever go there again is beyond me. When I stated "so you're calling me a liar" he said "That's it, I'm done. I'm done talking to you!" and he literally fled back to his office. I walked out saying how ridiculous it was, and I pointed at the employee he clearly brought out as intimidation and told him "You know this is ridiculous too". And then I left. Solid place- Been there many times... I was in St. Augustine for a stay and had to visit family in Bradenton- Looked at reviews for car washes out that way, but they were all terrible. So I went with my old standby and wasn't disappointed- $35 for a wash and express handwax? Can't get a better price than that... Only thing that kept from 5 stars were some crumbs I found later on the passenger side front seat. Aside from that, can't go wrong here. read more

I am furious with Steve at Royal Palm Car Wash. Don't go there. The attendant broke the ac vent inside my car, and Steve agreed they would pay to have it fixed. That was November 2018. It is now March 2019, and it still isn't fixed. Steve sent us to his friend, to a supposed auto repair shop. It was a backyard, junk yard that is not licensed or insured. I won't leave my car there, or let them work on it. So Steve refuses to pay for the repair. If your car is damaged at Royal Palm Car Wash, they will NEVER pay for the repair. Car flys through the wash, hardly had time to wash. Then when you get full service you are greeted by a team of people whom clearly do not want to be there.. Manager was on his cell phone the 30 minutes I was there, only came outside once . 1 minute to drive through, waited 20 minutes to get anyone to touch my car, 35 minutes later my car was just okay. Damage to 2017 Vehicle. Employees horsing around hit the side of my new car putting a dent and scratch in the side. After confronting the manager, Paperwork was filled out and was told on Saturday I would receive a call Monday to setup repairing dent and scratch. Never got the call. Also different staff every time your car is washed. Facility uses day labor and apparently doesn't train. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR, DON'T GO THERE FOR SERVICE. Only come here for a $3 car wash & free vac. Any other amount will be a waste of your $$. I have been bringing my vehicles here for 6 yrs spending $3-$120 for wash or detail. The detail "upgrade" is not worth the price. Svc used to be good, but no longer. Svc has steadily declined. Today I wasted $30 as interior barely touched and streaks on glass and possible damage to my car as the track malfunctioned. We won't ever be back and do not recommend. read more

Really disappointed today! It is the difficult love bug season. I used the auto car wash and had to spend 15 minutes cleaning the love bugs off the front of the car. That was to be expected. The 1st problem was I had to use water from a puddle in the parking lot to re wash the front. I saw one of the mgrs and suggested that the car wash put a couple of water buckets by the vacuums to assist people. Here comes problem 2. The car wash employee said we can't do that. When I asked why, he said because the full car wash guarantees love bug cleaning and that costs extra. I said but you offer two washes: 1) a full service car wash and 2) an auto car wash with free vacuums and an area for car owners to detail their cars. I'm not asking for a guarantee, I'm asking for a water bucket provided to your auto wash customers during love bug season.Problem 3: He then said, I'm just a glass guy and can't make that decision........and then walked away. Your car wash offers 2 types of washes and my request was reasonable and at no cost to you. Your employee showed no concern and in essence has forced me to make a decision between upgrading to a full car wash at my expense or never coming back.........I choose never coming back. $5 a week times 50 weeks. Say goodbye to $250 a year of revenue........all over a bucket of water and an uncaring employee! read more
