When we walked into the store a different young woman came up to us and said "how can I help you". In a very flat tone with the impression we were bothering her My gf explained the situation to her admitted she knew the 3rd one did nt arrive because it was "out of stock". "Well I didn't place the order so I can't tell you what the status is!" GF said "what if we ordered that chain in a different size?" Clerk. "You don't seem to understand it's out of stock". GF: Well what if you look at a longer length? Clerk: "what don't you understand...it's out of stock!" (In a condescending voice!!). I personally huffed in response to how rude she was being and she looked at me and replied "what! I responded "I can't believe you're treating a customer like this!" She turned her back to us and went to a back room to find someone who could help us Thank God the next person to come to us was the gal who placed the order. She recognized my friend and said "oh hello... I see you're back! ( with a smile of recognition) And proceeded give us great service and actually sell one of the chains that seem to be very fitting for the pendant! As we sat at her desk finalizing the sale I asked her "is that the granddaughter of the owner". She said no, and asked me why I was inquiring. So I told her. "She's the absolute worst clerk I've ever encountered and that she was not only rude to my friend and I, but that when a woman with a neck brace came into the store she unfortunately had to get that snippy young girl She said "you guys called me three times but I couldn't come in because I had neck surgery so I'm here now! At which the snotty clerk replied "well I don't know what you're talking about. I'll have to look on the computer and see if there are any notes at which the Customer replied. "That surprises me because you were one of the person who called me!!! Because of those 2 encounters I know I'll never spend a dime in that store. I myself would have walked out the door the minute she started waiting on me! My girlfriend is just to nice!

That did not sound like something I wanted to hear. He got Dave the manager to come and help as he had to leave . Dave was great! He said, no, it didn't need to be done from below, and that he had what was needed to fix the job. He went and got my part and showed me and explained how it would work. We also discussed what I needed to fix the tub situation. I guess Dave just came back to work there that week. He called me promptly with prices of the parts that same day. I was trying to do my due diligence and read the reviews . I called Dave and that's when he told me he was the manager . I said I wasn't comfortable with anyone else that might not know how to do this if the owner doesn't. I questioned the company's billing practices as people complained that the round up to the next hour ( Dave said it was every half hour now). I questioned people complaining the guy or guys would be out in the truck just adding to the billing hours not doing anything. Dave assured me that the only thing they might have to do is fill out the paperwork on the iPad for the parts and labor . They were to be billing at 150 per hour. Dave said it's normal for the paperwork/billing to be done on the clock and or running back and forth to truck to get parts etc. So in my mind I had a hesitation that they might be the type of people to string out the job for more billable hours ( based on other reviews), and also, if the owner doesn't know how to do my job(that it could have been done from the top), how can I expect hired help to know. Dave assured me that he would communicate with the installers to make sure everyone was on the correct page. He assured me everything would be fine, so I said okay, and booked my install. He said the guys were on a job first thing in the am and then they'd come to my place. He said they should be done by 10, no later than 10:30. He said he'll put me down for 10:30am and ask them to contact me 30 minutes before they'll arrive as I am not living at that location. I decided to go to my place a little earlier than 10 and do some work while I was waiting. I watched the clock tick away. I decided that I need to call as it was just past 11:30 and my spider senses were like telling me I shouldn't go with these guys . I called and canceled. In fairness to them, the text did say I was blocked at 10:30-12:30. I may have seen this before and forgot, but all I could think of is Dave saying 10-10:30, and I thought maybe they are late because they are bilking hours from the customer before me ... either way , I was still uncomfortable and cancelled. I never got the chance to have them do the job so it's hard to give a review other than that. That Dave guy was great, I only wish he were doing the work...

In early July '23, I contacted them about multiple areas in my yard that needed help as I was seeing thinning grass, browning and lots of weeds throughout.. They didn't respond. A week later, I contacted them again, with no response. They finally showed up in the 3rd week after my complaint. They stated that the damaged area was due to lack of water, yet the rest of the yard was green and this damaged area had green blades scattered throughout. I called the service manager, but was ignored after multiple calls to voicemail. August 9th, their regional manager showed up at my house and "verified" the damage was due to lack of water. He stated that my sprinklers were the fault and I need to address that. I have over 20 years experience with sprinkler systems and their operation and never had issues in these areas, but he's the expert, right? I put a cup in the center of the damaged area, ran the sprinklers and measured 3/4" after that zone ran. Plenty of water was getting there. I called my previous lawn company and they determined that the lawn was damaged by chinch bugs. I haven't had chinch bugs in over 10 years, until Clements took care of things. I also had fire ants and now moles digging through my yard. None of this for 10 years, so I cancelled service with Clements and went back to my previous company. I would not recommend them as I now have to replace about 3 pallets of sod at my expense.
