Random indian joint near NJ Motorsports Park. I'd heard that this place was good, and it did not disappoint. There's a huge menu which has both veg and non veg dishes. Many different types of protein including lamb and goat. Got the goat saag and it was really tasty. Big portions too. Next time will likely get the lamb though, because the goat did have a lot of bones. Also tried a few appetizers including the kebabs, which was delicious. Large parking lot. read more

My husband & I both agreed that this is easily the best, most flavorful tikka masala spot we've ever been to! He got the chicken and I tried the cottage cheese paneer entree. Great Indian place in Millville, NJ. Staff friendly and knowledgeable of the Indian food. You tell them the spice level you want and they will make it for you. We ordered the tomato soup which was creamy and tasty. Their sweet lassi drink was very good. I had the lamb vindaloo which was as nice and spicy for me. The lamb was tender and fell apart. You can tell they know how to make this dish. My wife had the chicken tikka masala and ask for it mild. It was to her liking and delicious. We ordered the break basket which was an assortment of nanns. Everything was good and delicious and excellent service. Royal Spice Indian is a gem in Millville. The space has a weird feeling (strip mall New Jersey vibes) with no feeling of the restaurant being upscale or anything like that. However the food and service are out of this world. As usual in New Jersey strip malls it's a BYOB restaurant, which is great! Makes the drinks portion very easy. Then there's the food, and oh man is it good. The Naan is just fantastic, we got so many different types, garlic being our favorite. Then there's the paneer, which was truly also out of this world. I got some vindaloo which was nice and spicy, but my favorite was the lamb chops. The flavor was excellent, and they were incredibly satisfying! We had been seeing Facebook posts about this place and decided to give it a try this afternoon around 3:15PM. We enter the restaurant and there was one employee lying across two chairs looking on his phone. He didn't even recognize that we had walked in, needless to say we walked right out. If your employee is just chilling while on the job what does that say about your restaurant. Sad because we were looking forward to trying it and it smelled so good inside! read more

Great food and very quick and efficient service! We highly recommended the malai kofta and the bread basket. Our food was warm and arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. They also have a decent buffet througjout the week with tons of options. The food was very tasty and portion sizes were average as well with above average bread vasket selection. I came at around 4:13 pm it was empty, understandable as it just opened for the evening. The place is beautiful, modern, and sleek. The restaurant is clean. Smells yummy. A friend of mine told me about this place so me and the wife decided to try it out and stopped here for dinner. Tucked away in a failing strip mall the restaurant itself is a pretty decent size, appeared clean and in order. The gentleman that sat us turned out to also be our waiter, he was pleasant and polite and answered a few questions had about the menu. I ordered the chicken tikka Marsala and the wife got the CHICKEN CHETTINAD and the GARLIC NAAN. Both of our meals were excellent! The Marsala is better then the chettinad but both were very good. The rice they use is a longer grain rice and it fluffy and light, and the Marsala sauce is amazing. The garlic naan was ok but I prefer the chicken cheese bread . Another amazing example of a small town hole in the wall place being a diamond in the rough, you have to check this place out! read more

Excellent Indian food especially their samosa was very fresh and crispy with enough spice and spiciness. I love good tamarind sauce with Samosas and this first visit didn't disappoint. I ordered their chicken curry in "spicy" but it wasn't as spicy as I liked so either they forgot it they kept it light so if you like it spicy, make sure to ask for it. There was enough chicken to rice ratio to keep me full for dinner. Pricing wise was reasonable for dinner (though not cheap) but with inflation it is a decent price. See photos! read more

Not to mention, we received really wonderful and friendly service. We have finally found our go-to restaurant for Indian cuisine! The price point is right for the area, average $15.00 per selection. We ordered chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and I tried a goat dish. Ever one was fabulous. Goat is very tender and was like a very lean beef actually. We like to get onion kulcha for our bread, thicker than the other flatbread they serve. This is our first time at Royal Spice. It is located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking. The exterior looks unassuming, but as you walk in the restaurant it becomes very inviting, and impressive, with table cloths and cloth napkins. We ordered the lunch specials, and were very impressed with the portion size, and more importantly, the tasty preparation. Our waiter asked us what spice level we preferred, and the kitchen prepared both specials just perfectly. At the end of the meal, a wonderful warm carrot dessert was served!!
