All flavors are different and there are 3 different spice levels. If you want to order without spicy, then order mild. Mild doesn't have any chili whatsoever, it's made that way to accommodate elderly costumers, costumers with health issues that cannot eat chili foods and even children can enjoy a very healthy savoring dinner with family. So don't be afraid to try a dish or two. They make authentic food from scratch when you order, so waiting a little while for your food is worth the wait. read more

Excellent customer service but more importantly, DELICIOUS FOOD! The owner is very nice and accommodating. They just opened their second location in Vineland at 601 E Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360 their number is (856) 405-6786. The ambiance is excellent. They had just opened 2 days before we went and everything was set up perfectly, Indian music in the background and owner kept coming to make sure we were fine. This was a great find. Most everything I tried was delicious. Malai kofta. Samosas. Dal. Saag paneer.

Ordered Take-out twice. This is a great place and the food is wonderful/ We had: Bread basket - only got 1 type of bread, not a mix of different breads like the menu suggested GOAT KADAI - good but too many bones DAL TADKA - great and just the right amount of spices Also: Chicken chettinad - really good and spicy Mix veg - very tasty and not too spicy Will definately order again. Absolutely terrible unseasoned, flavorless food with bad service. If you're Indian and looking for good restaurant style Indian food, look elsewhere. The naan was solid, as was the mixed pakora, but everything else (malai kofta, aloo gobi, gobi manchurian) were all horrible. We couldn't even finish our meal because it was so disgusting. The service was slow, waiter was forgetful, and asserted that we ordered the wrong food. I will never be back here again. Today was a bad day to have tastebuds. These reviews have to be made by friends and family cus they're so off base. read more

If you are an Indian person looking for good Indian restaurants food, DO NOT COME TO ROYAL SPICE. Absolutely dreadful food and bad service. We ordered Gobi Manchurian as a starter and it was basically battered cauliflower in ketchup. The malai kofta was so bland. It had no flavor whatsoever. The aloo Gobi was the same, completely disgusting and bland. My mom can make all of these dishes at home WAY better than whoever is the chef. The only good thing was the naan and roti which if you have the equipment is easy to make. read more

We went there for takeout, and ordered a few different vegetarian dishes, so that's the scope of this review. The food is good, about what you'd expect. The menu is fairly expansive: we got a few dishes we don't necessarily see elsewhere. Some of the vegetarian dishes are listed as coming with "mild spices" and some are listed as coming with "Indian spices". As far as I can tell, you can order them with any level of spice. We ordered "medium" spice, and that was about right: spicy, but not too hot. Next time I might order some dishes with "mild", so I can taste the flavors a bit better. At the time of writing, with the restaurant being new, the interior is clean, but a little stark in ambiance. Hopefully we'll go for a dine-in meal some time soon. read more

I love Indian food and this is by far the best I've had! The restaurant is normally pretty busy when I go so I haven't had much conversation with the staff but they are always polite and helpful. The vibe inside is nice and it seems very clean, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who already likes Indian food or people who are curious to try something new in the area. read more

Royal Spice does not disappointed. We have order various dishes, and they continue to be consistent. We love their sweet and mango lassis, chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, and don't forget the naan. We recently tried the tandoori mixed, curry shrimp and aloo paratha which is now our new favorites. read more

Have had takeout twice now from The Royal Spice. Both times I ordered the lamb tikka masala and both times it was excellent. The first time I did get it medium spice, even though I do like my Indian food on the spicy side. Second time I got it spicy. I didn't breakout in a full sweat but it was close, but that's how I like it. The garlic naan was also very good. Everything was well-packaged and didn't suffer any leaks or other casualties on the way home. I'd recommend it. read more

Stumbled upon this place and it's one of my favorites! The samosas are so delicious, especially with the red sauce. The chicken vindaloo is still my favorite, but the fried cheese in sauce (paneer makhani) is very good. The rice is consistently cooked perfectly! The garlic naan is my favorite. I am not sure why there are any bad reviews on this restaurant. My wife and I stopped in for the first time and the service and food was top notch. The ambiance is not untypical for a strip mall but the place was clean, the tables all had table cloths, real tableware and padded seats. We ordered a mixed veggies with tofu (vegetarian)dish, chicken tiki masla and the nana bread with onion. All were excellent in there own way and the rice was very good. All menu items were reasonably priced... we also had the Mango Lassi drink which was over the top! Great place! Highly recommended! read more
