Oreo cookie pie. Sweet potatoe pie.
Kyle P.

Driving up to this place is an old school converted to an elegant upscale restaurant and buffet. So when you walk in the restaurant area I was first surprised and amazed my the ambience. Because the outside DOES not match the inside. The seating, atmosphere and the music is pleasant and relaxing. The staff is super friendly and pleasant. The food was really amazing. And they have crab legs with the buffet (which I don't eat) but it's included too. I also had the Lemon Drop Coctail, which was the best! They also had a cute little dessert bar that included the miniature sweet potato pie! That was eye rolling, lip smacking, slap the chef good! Overall I really enjoyed myself here. I will be coming back here and telling my friends about it. Great job Studio Cafe!!!

Went for Sunday Brunch and was delighted with the service. Food was excellent, and the guy behind the omelette bar was a gem. The mimosas were delicious! If you leave The Studio Cafe hungry, it's definitely your own fault!

This is such a unique experience! My husband made a reservation for my birthday a couple of years back and we came in as a party of 4 adults and 2 tiny tots. All I knew was that we were going to brunch at a movie studio. Having no context for what a movie studio should look like, I wouldn't have known that part if I wasn't told. It was a buffet-style brunch, so everyone was able to go thru the line as many times as their heart desired. I will say that I chose the wrong shoes. I decided to break in some new fancy heels in this day, and my toes actually dictated how many times I was able to go thru the line (LOL!) After eating, there was a nice little miniature stage with a makeshift red carpet background that we pictures on, leaving us with some fun memories

I believe this used to be an old high school that's been turned into a film production/school and a Restaurant. The dining area is in the old cafeteria. It's a buffet-style restaurant, and you get in line cafeteria style, choosing what you would like. Now this is where the comparison stops between the old high school and what's there now. This isn't the high school cafeteria food because the food here is good. The dessert is definitely good. But I do wish there were more options. Now it can get busy during lunch, but there's plenty of room and the parking lot is huge.

My son devoured the crab clusters

I visited the Studio Café on a Saturday evening with my family. Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but my husband had been there before. The atmosphere was lovely, with great décor, comfortable furniture, and a pianist playing, which set the perfect tone. In a place like Fayetteville, where new and different spots are rare, this place really stood out. The service was also top-notch, earning a solid 10 out of 10. Our server was attentive to our table and quickly brought everything we needed. If I'm not mistaken, gratuity is already included, but if the service is outstanding--as it was here--I'll gladly leave an extra tip because they truly deserve it. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, all of which were hot and fresh. My favorite was definitely the Mac & Cheese--it was creamy, cheesy, and delicious. We also tried the crab leg special, and my son absolutely loved it, devouring everyone's clusters! This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I have family or friends visiting.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and my experience was not what I imagined. When we got there the server didn't tell us the history or anything about the cafe. I get it, she's busy she don't have time but I thought that would have been nice. But she didn't tell us where to sit how the buffet worked or anything. So we found a seat and then found the sign that said buffet here and got our food. The food was good. The chicken was good and the flounder had good flavor. A little cold, but the second batch was better. Breading could've been crispier. The sides were decent. The star was the mash potatoes and chicken gravy. The Mac and cheese was decent. Better than most places but still had that processed cheese taste. The waitresses were floaters, different waitresses came over to ask how you were and to refill drinks. The desert was good. Really good homemade whipped cream and the Reese's cupcake was moist and flavorful. Definitely would return and I would like to go for dinner for the entertainment.

Delicious food & smooth LIVE music was had today!!! Everything I had from the buffet was great (even the fruit & salad). Our server, CARMA, was terrific!!! This was my 1st time going, but it won't be my last!!!

Crab legs

Great dining experience in Trilith. At first I was a little taken back by the building as it looks just like a school. Found out it was originally designed for a school but the restaurant owners made it into a restaurant. The buffet style is very neat and the atmosphere is classy with live music. The musician is fantastic, he's very talented. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our server was Christian. He was super polite, attentive, and entertaining with great stories, thanks Christian. The food is good and I like that they also serve crab legs. Although the crab isn't all you can eat, the portion they include is significant especially once you load up on a plate of food from their buffet. From what I heard they change up their offerings on the buffet frequently. Today's assortment was nice, including salads, seafood, poultry, and read meat. Highly recommend giving them a try but come hungry. The buffet dinner is around $40-$45 per person and I definitely think it's worth it.

The food is always reasoned and flavorful. They provided sanitizer before you enter the self- serve line. This is well appreciated.

We tried three different pastries, and none were great. The cheese danish was the worst. It wasn't made on flaky pastry. It was like a thick, chewy slab of pizza crust with some cheese and jam on top. Literally, the texture and taste was exactly like a thick, stale pizza crust. So confusing. The chocolate macaron was hard as a rock. We went across the street to the bookstore after and got macarons that were delicate, soft, and melted in our mouths, and the difference was striking. The gf pop tart was the best of the three, but even that was doughy and falling apart so that's not saying a lot! Overall, for a bakery, I was really disappointed. Coffee is consistently good, but man. The pastries really fell short.

The space inside is modern chic and so inviting. They had TONS of pastry and sandwich options and I couldn't resist ordering a gluten free blondie. It did take awhile to get our order-there were two other people ahead of us, but you could tell that everything was handcrafted. Everything we ordered was delicious! I found the Matcha a little too sweet for my liking even with half pump simple syrup. The blondie was divine. Service here was wonderful too.

DRINKS (4/5): $3.25 (16 oz) LARGE BREWED COFFEE: LOVE IT! Tastes fresh, strong & delicious. $5.25 (16 oz) (+$1 soy milk) LAVENDER LATTE: I hate the extra charge for a milk substitute. Starbucks got rid of the additional charge for switching milks, I wish everywhere else did also. As far as the drink, it was a subtle taste of lavender, but delicious! I love their coffee. FOOD (4/5): $4.50 HONEY CHEESE MOCHI PANCAKE: this is a BEST SELLER for a reason! If you love the chewy taste of mochi, you will LOVE this! It's warm, chewy, slightly sweet from the honey, and has a ton of cream cheese in the center. 10/10!!! $4.25 SAUSAGE ONION PASTRY: in the hot case. Savory hot dog wrapped in cheese and onions on top a flaky pastry with slightly sweet ketchup or bbq sauce on top. Perfect light breakfast bite. $3.50 CURRY CROQUETTE: Crispy on the outside & soft on the inside (I recommend reheating in the oven @ 425 for 10 min). I wish there was more curry inside, but still tasty! Light & savory. $3.75 STRAWBERRY SOFT BREAD: SUPER SOFT & FLUFFY! Filled with a light strawberry cream, not too overpowering. It's simple, but addicting! I keep coming back for it. SERVICE (3/5): It's odd they charge for tip at the register when it's a self-serve business, although I did see them refilling the pastry cases & they do make the coffee. On the weekends it gets busy, tons of turnover, but the tables were DIRTY! They need to be better about wiping them down more often. OVERALL (4/5): Love this place! You can get a coffee and pastry for $10! What a steal. Lots of pastry options for everyone, both sweet and savory. Perfect for a special occasion if you want a single slice of cake or a whole one or small treat! Fancy feel, but very affordable.

The cute and engaging decor, very bright and colorful. I found a new favorite donut with their gluten-free red velvet.
