I enjoyed this place. Came for lunch with my son. They brought out chips and dip. He said the dip was spicy. Our server, Kayla brought out a mild salsa. My son ordered tacos and I got shrimp quesadillas. Omg!! They both were good. Plus the $3.50 margaritas were on point.

Went yet again while in town If you haven't made your way to Frida's Mexican Grill & Bar yet, let this be your sign. I tried the Frida's Steak Bowl and it did not disappoint. The steak was seasoned perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. Everything in the bowl came together really well. It was fresh, filling, and one of those meals you think about even after you leave. One thing I appreciate every time I visit is the consistency. The food is always hot, fresh, and genuinely good. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The atmosphere is also a big part of the experience. If you go early, it has a relaxed, family friendly feel with great energy. Later in the evening, it shifts into more of a nightlife vibe with music and a DJ, making it a fun place to unwind. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Overall, if you are looking for great food and a place that can match your mood any time of day, this is definitely worth a visit.

This is a happening place. I barely got a seat at the bar during happy hour. The prices are good, and the food is good. If the sauce is home made, I will say that they blended it too much.Which came out for like a taco sauce. Though I prefer my salsa more chunky, like a pico de gallo style. The margarita was on point and the guac was homemade.I will be back to try other items.

This review is hard to type! I sat at the bar last night. Pros: the vibe was awesome, DJ was on point with the music and the transitions were clean. The bartender Carlos knows how to make a drink, I ordered a skinny margarita and it was FANTASTIC! The cheese dip with beef was on point too as well, very tasty. Cons: Baja fish tacos was honestly probably the worst taco I've ever had. The fish was so stale and zero seasoning. The refried beans tasted a week old, no seasoning and I feel like that's the basic of the basic Mexican dish. I'd come back for the vibes and a drink but that's about it!

I was able to visit this spot before they moved to a new location. There was valet parking as well. The wait wasn't too bad. I think we waited 20-30 minutes top. We were then seated at our table. It took a while for a waitress to come by. We actually had to get up and grab someone to let them know. Moving forward. We finally got a waitress. My family and I ordered drinks and much food for the table. Everyone had some of everything this night ! We cleared the table you all! I mean ate good! The inside was very festive, which I love decorations and colors. I can't wait to see the new location they have!

This was a take out order. I ordered shrimp and salmon with seasoned rice and black beans. My husband had the Texas fajita dinner. The food was seasoned so well and it was delicious. I didn't eat all of my dinner, but the plates are enough for two to share. We're stuffed. We haven't been here in a while, so I'm glad we decided to order from here. We will be back, soon. :-)

Went here twice to eat, this place did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service was great, and the vibe was nice. Definitely adding this spot to my list of favorites.

Frida's is a bit of a mixed bag. The food is fine -- definitely some different offerings from what you'd expect at a typical Mexican restaurant, but the quality is pretty average overall. Nothing bad, but nothing that wowed me either. The drinks, on the other hand, are absolutely worth coming for. They're reasonably priced, come in a wide variety of sizes, and are the real highlight here. My ideal visit would be grabbing a couple of drinks and some queso before heading elsewhere for dinner. On weekends, the energy picks up with a wonderful DJ on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes for a fun vibe if you're here to hang out more than to dine. Parking is free (always a plus), but spots are limited, so plan to arrive a little early. All in all, Frida's is more of a drinks-and-music spot than a go-to dining destination -- but for that purpose, it does the job.

Hubby and I had dinner at Frida's for the first time last night--and we clearly picked the right night because it was karaoke night. Great vibes and a fun crowd. We were seated right away, and the service was on point the whole time. I had fried shrimp tacos--crispy, flavorful, and totally hit the spot. Hubby went with the steak fajitas and gave them two thumbs up. I treated myself to a 12 oz. strawberry Hennessy margarita (because... balance), and he had the pineapple margarita. Both drinks were tasty but a little on the "juice box" side if you catch my drift. Overall, a fun night out with great food, strong service, and karaoke entertainment. I would return (but next time, maybe ask for a heavier pour ).

Parking: Ample Food/Drinks: Great. Drinks were good and strong Went during the day, I sense it's chill spot on the weekends. They have very cute serving options for drinks. Several towers even the giraffe ones. Also large shareable bowl glasses. I'll be back with a designated driver. Because they one drink I had was perfection. Bartender was awesome. It's a pretty large space and bar. Go enjoy!

I recently visited Frida's Mexican Grill & Bar in Fayetteville and it's the kind of place that gets it right across the board. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel welcoming without being overbearing. Everything came out in a timely manner and questions about the menu and drinks were handled confidently, which always sets the tone for a good meal. The ambiance is lively and fun without feeling chaotic. The colorful décor and Frida Kahlo inspired mural give the space personality, and the music and energy make it a great spot for a night out, whether that's date night or a group dinner. It feels like a place you can stay awhile, not rush through. Food-wise, Frida's delivers bold, satisfying flavors. The flautas party platter was perfect for sharing, the Texas fajitas arrived sizzling and packed with flavor, and the surf and turf felt indulgent and well-executed. The drinks were just as memorable, especially the cocktails that add a little flair to the experience. Overall, this is a solid go-to for Mexican food, drinks, and a good vibe in the Fayetteville area.

I went to Frida's yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a great time. Upon arrival, the parking lot was full but luckily I found one spot close to the door. But if you are going on a Saturday afternoon be prepared for it to be crowded. Also, parking is free. When I went in the restaurant, it was PACKED! Luckily, my friends had already arrived and had a table. But I noticed the family that walked in before me was not seated for a long time. Out waited Osmar was great and funny. Despite it being super busy, he was able to remember my order without writing it down and serving us well. The space is decorated nicely. I loved the art touches center Frida Kahlo. The only thing is that they need a curtain blocking the front window for when the sun starts to set. I order an enchiladas meal which was DELICIOUS! It was so good! Only thing is I wish I had a little more rice to go with the enchiladas. And my margarita was great as well. The food came out so fast that I thought I ordered it before I arrived lol. But the drink service was incredibly slow. I had almost finished my meal before the drink came out. All in all this was a great experience and definitely recommend going.

This is such a cool Mexican restaurant. Super big. The staff waitresses and waiters were amazing. We were seated immediately once we entered with no wait time. This is a family friendly. The drinks was vast and sweet. Also, the food was great as well with a family style portion size. So we did share a lot of our food together. The music was great. I loved every minute of it and it also has a karaoke machine, so once the music's playing, I guess, in the weekends they would probably have those karaoke nights. All in all, I loved it and it was amazing.

Extremely Disappointed - Worst Dining Experience I've Had…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Sabor in Fayetteville was disappointing from beginning to end. It started the moment we walked in. There was no warm welcome or greeting from the staff. We later discovered a very small sign on the front door stating they were not serving alcohol. No one mentioned this when we were seated. We didn't find out until we started ordering drinks. While there technically was a sign, it was small and easily overlooked. A simple heads-up from the hostess would have gone a long way. We almost left, but decided to stay because we were hungry. Our server, Liz, never introduced herself. She simply began taking orders until we asked for her name. Throughout the meal, she was not warm, friendly, or engaging. Her demeanor made us feel like providing good service simply wasn't a priority. When I asked what type of fish was pictured on the menu, she said she didn't know. I asked if she could check with the kitchen. She seemed reluctant to do so, but eventually returned and simply said it was "blackfish." That wasn't very helpful, but I ordered it anyway based on the recommendation. We also ordered the house dip, which arrived without a serving spoon. When my mother-in-law asked for one, Liz returned with an oversized pot-stirring spoon that was much larger than the serving bowl. We then requested small dishes for sharing, and they came out soaking wet, requiring us to dry them ourselves. Once our food was delivered--by the robot, not our server--we never saw Liz return to ask if everything was okay or if we needed refills, condiments, or anything else. Basic table service was completely absent. The biggest issue came at the end of the meal. We had six people and requested our checks be split into two family groups. The bills were incorrect, and my in-laws were charged separately in a confusing way. After questioning the charges, we believed everything had been corrected. The next day, however, my father-in-law noticed an additional $76 had been charged as a tip on his card, even though his bill was less than $50. When he called the restaurant, he was told that he had authorized that amount as the tip, which he adamantly denies. After he informed them he would dispute the charge with his bank, management agreed to refund the money. I understand restaurants can be short-staffed or experience operational issues. I also understand businesses go through challenges. What is difficult to overlook is the complete lack of communication, inattentive service, poor attention to detail, and the confusion surrounding the final bill. This was, without question, one of the poorest restaurant experiences I've had in a very long time. I sincerely hope management invests in better customer service training and tighter oversight of billing procedures so future guests don't have a similar experience. Based on our experience, I would encourage others to carefully review their bill and credit card receipt before leaving the restaurant.
